This is the ruin of the palace of veer surendra sai and his family's. This place is now abandoned and no maintenance has been done since years. But this place is gonna be renovated by government of Odisha soon under samaleiswari Temple corridor program.

Veer Surendra Sai palace is nothing look like a palace ...it is completely trashed due to its lack of maintenance..

State Government Needs to work upon the development of the place as its one of the oldest gems

The palace was in break down situation and it was look like a khandahar .....!!! I think the haveli was looking so nice in his time

A great historical monument for Sambalpur which holds a number of historical stories in it. But it isn't maintained properly as it should be, now it's gradually changes but still more improved work is needed for the beautification of this place.

This place is of great historical importance as it is associated with legendary freedom fighter Veer Surendra Sai. Once upon a time, it was centre of freedom movement in Western Odisha and had seen many historical events. It's also called ' Raja Bakhri '. Now, in complete ruins, it needs immediate attention from authorities for renovation.

There is nothing else.only a old house.

Need reinnovation,some one have to raise voice about this matter. If it's developed then tousirst attraction also increases,& last the govt can generate a good revenue from it.

I am looking help to get into this place. Is there anyone who can help me to get into this palace ???

This palace was built by the Raja of Sambalpur in the 18th century. It was in a dilapidated condition since long. Recently it had been renovated to keep the Heritage alive.

The land fort is having some fortification and ruins and it is located of bank of river Mahanadi. Surendra Sai was the Indian freedom fighter and tribal leader who sacrificed his life fighting against the British East India Company.
