Everyone really enjoyed what they got here, but I'm just gonna talk about my meal. I got a pizza. Get whatever toppings you want on it. You're probably familiar with pizza. The thing that made the pizza the best is the crust and sauce combination. The crust is not thin, not thick, but it's got a bit of a gentle brittleness to the outside, then the inside was warm and chewy. It was spectacular, and I'm not usually even into pizza crust that much. The sauce somehow congealed into the crust in the best way and their tomato sauce is REALLY good. My fiancee tried several different dishes and confirmed that the pizza was her favorite as well. They also give you pizza scissors, so that was a fun experience. 😁 I also got the margarita to drink. It was smooth and salty (on the rim) with a nice acidic kick from the lime. Really easy to drink and honestly just tasty. Would (and did) order that again.

The head chef/owner Giuseppe, and best server in the world Oscar is why we consider this place as family. The oxtail ravioli is to die for. Their octopus, potatoes and vegetables appetizer is out of this world as well. I've celebrated many people's birthdays here, and many special occasions. They say home is where the heart is. Well this is home.

Love the restaurant vibe. Beautiful interior design with high vaulted ceiling. Comfortable seating area. I love the home made pizza here. Half mushroom pizza pocket and half margarita it’s really good! Seafood spaghetti with decent and good quality seafood as well. Cocktails are good with the right amount. Hope the server can be more friendly.

Fantastic dinner experience as I found them based upon some video recommendations from several YouTube channels. The menu is diverse without being overwhelming. We ordered some of the daily specials which included Veal osso bucco, fior di latte caprese. We also ordered the oxtail ravioli, gnocchi, and seafood spaghetti. Everything we ordered was prepared very well, seasoned with care, and portioned well. When I'm in town again I will definitely make a stop in again to experience the rest of the menu!

Very pleasant atmosphere and dining experience. They have done a great job with the outside dining area space. The restaurant decor is welcoming and stylish. All the wait staff are friendly and courteous. The menu is varied with plenty of choices. Some of the menu items are a tad expensive but that may be the result of the post COVID-19 times we now live in. The lamb shank special is flavorful and there was plenty of it. So much so that I needed a box to go.

An Italian delight for our dinner date night. We couldn't reserve a table but they still were able to accommodate us in a kind way. Service was friendly and attentive to detail. The welcoming fresh bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar is a treat (yes, more, please!!!). Everything we ordered was perfect, tasty and well seasoned. We hardly ever go for desserts, but this time we did and so glad we did. Go!

Went here for dinner. The food is really flavorful and the Ingredients are real fresh. Usually what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. Being vegetarian the options were very limited. They had one gnocchi and one ravioli dish that were vegetarian. The dessert portions are good sized. Ambience and service is good.

The food was delicious. All fresh. Recommend the grilled chicken dish. Pasta Bolognese was so good. For dessert, the Tiramisu was perfect. Good drinks. The server was a bit scattered.

Trabocco Kitchen and Cocktails: A Culinary Extravaganza Nestled in the heart of culinary excellence, Trabocco Kitchen and Cocktails is a beacon of Italian gastronomy that left us enchanted and vowing to return. Our recent dining escapade at this Italian gem was nothing short of magical, promising a return for more. **Il Cibo (The Food): A Symphony of Flavors** From the first taste of the *antipasti* (appetizers), Trabocco showcased its commitment to excellence. The burrata, a velvety blend of mozzarella and cream, paired with ripe tomatoes, transported us to the sun-soaked fields of Italy. A testament to simplicity and authenticity, it set the tone for an extraordinary culinary journey. The pasta selection at Trabocco deserves accolades. The *pappardelle al ragù di agnello* (pappardelle with lamb ragu) was a rustic masterpiece, with handcrafted pasta cradling savory lamb ragu—a true celebration of Italian culinary craftsmanship. Main courses elevated the experience. The *branzino al forno* (oven-roasted branzino) was a balance of crispiness and tenderness, showcasing the chef's expertise. Each bite was a testament to Trabocco's dedication to delivering an authentic and quality dining experience. The daily specials menu added an element of surprise. The *pesce del giorno* (fish of the day) was a revelation, emphasizing Trabocco's commitment to seasonal freshness and culinary diversity. **Le Specialità del Giorno (The Specials of the Day): An Adventure** Trabocco's specials are a highlight. The *risotto ai frutti di mare* (seafood risotto) was a symphony of flavors, with Arborio rice cradling a variety of seafood, bringing the essence of the Mediterranean to our table. The wine selection, carefully curated to complement the menu, was a delightful addition. The knowledgeable staff added a personal touch, guiding us through the extensive wine list with enthusiasm. **Il Servizio (The Service): A Ballet of Hospitality** The service at Trabocco is a ballet, where every movement is synchronized, and every gesture speaks volumes. The staff, including Christine, who took our reservation, exuded warmth and professionalism. Christine was wonderful and accommodating for our large party, making the experience seamless from the moment we arrived. The pacing of the courses was impeccable, allowing us to savor each moment without feeling rushed. Attention to detail extended beyond the culinary realm. The ambiance was enriched by the staff's commitment to creating a memorable dining experience. Empty plates disappeared like magic, and water glasses were discreetly refilled, ensuring our focus remained on the culinary delights before us. **L'Ambiente (The Ambiance): Rustic Elegance** Trabocco strikes a perfect balance between rustic charm and elegant sophistication. The warm hues of the decor create an inviting atmosphere, while the subtle lighting adds a touch of romance. The open kitchen concept allows diners to witness the culinary prowess firsthand, creating a sensory symphony that adds to the overall dining experience. Whether seated at a cozy corner table or the communal chef's table, the ambiance at Trabocco envelops you in a cocoon of culinary delight. **In Conclusion: Un Ritorno Necessario (A Necessary Return)** As we reluctantly took our leave from Trabocco Kitchen and Cocktails, a promise lingered in the air – we will be back. The symphony of flavors, the ballet of hospitality, and the rustic elegance of the ambiance, along with Christine's wonderful assistance, have etched a permanent place in our culinary memories. Trabocco is not just a restaurant; it's an experience, a celebration of Italian culinary artistry. A thousand words cannot capture the essence of this culinary haven – it's an experience that must be savored, felt, and shared. Arrivederci, Trabocco. We'll be back for more culinary adventures and the promise of another symphony for our senses.

I must start by noting that the place is beautiful, with a very pleasant atmosphere and good service. Their food is very tasty but I can't feel 100% its original Italian food taste, however I would go again because they have good quality of food, their wine menu is attractive so the food tastes even better. The prices are consistent with what they offer and the area where the restaurant is.

What an amazing experience! Went with the boyfriend and a friend. We sat at the Chefs table right in front of the pizza station and we had an amazing experience. Was able to meet and speak to the Owner/Chef Guisseppe. The love he has for his food and team is so wonderful to witness. He was on the line with the team helping them plate and cook. The three of us said we would love to just sit there for hours and watch the team cook and just drink. The food was AMAZING. The drinks were perfect. The menu is large enough to want to go back once a week. I had the bronzino special and my bf had the ribeye special. We also got a pizza and can I say that's my favorite pizza? Omg it was wonderful. Service with Pedro was spectacular. He was knowledgeable about everything and he was always so happy to be there. Loved being able to walk in and get a table but we opted for the chefs table. 10/10 highly recommend and definitely will be back. :) My boyfriend loves it here so we are going to go all the time.

I really like this place. It was a weekday, and when we called to make a reservation, they told us that only bar seating were available. When we arrived, we were lucky to get a table. Our waiter was super nice, and he remembered all the today’s special, which is a super long list. I love my gnocchi and my side potato, and I believe my friends love their dishes as well. Will definitely like to go back again.

Hands down the best italian restaurant in the bay when you combine the food, service, atmosphere and reliability. Have been here probably 30 times and it's always consistently great. Support this amazing family owned business you will not be disappointed.

Great dining area inside and out. Very professional staff. Large selection of food. There is undoubtedly good food here but we just were not thrilled with the dishes we had. The salad was small. The pizza crust was soggy. The half chicken and roasted vegetables were good.

We were shopping near Trabocco by chance and it was bustling during dinner time. It just so happened to be Alameda restaurant week. It was a 30-minute wait for a table, but one of the bar tables were open and it was perfect for 4. We ordered the pre-fixe special and some fillers (octopus dish and seafood stew, my classic favorite). Dishes were all excellent, fresh, tasty, bold. I really enjoyed how all the staffs, including the cook behind the glasses and the bartenders, always gave us warm welcome and big smiles. The table next to us was having a birthday and the guy who brought out the cake was singing it opera style. I enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and the food were very enjoyable. Good for family/friends and birthday occasions.

This place was pretty hyped - I did really enjoy the atmosphere... We had a large party and the service was great, as were the cocktails, but I was pretty disappointed in the food. I ordered the Cristina and the build of it was just weird. They give you scissors to cut slices, which would be cool if they could actually cut through the pizza! Wasn't very flavorful. The biggest disappointment was the tiramisu though. How are you gonna be a full on Italian restaurant and let whole foods serve better tiramisu!? C'mon now.

We celebrated our anniversary lunch here as this is one of our favorite spots to eat in the Bay. As always the service and food is always amazing.

A eight of us ladies were here last Saturday (12/17/2023) for our holiday dinner. We met last year at Scott's Seafood in JLS Oakland last year, but this year we wanted Italian, and at a safer venue. Trabocco is located at Southshore Shopping Center, Alameda. There is ample free parking, compared to paying a fee at a garage near Scott's. Dinner was quite enjoyable and the food was delicious. We each ordered something different. Two of the ladies ordered lamb shank with polenta. I decided to have the Brodetto Alla Vastese, which is a seafood stew considering of shrimp, scallops, clans, mussels and filet of fish with a tomato based octopus broth and two grilled bread. I usually don't imbibe, but it's holiday season. What better way to celebrate than have a glass of Prosecco. Thereafter, we exchanged Christmas gifts among us. Wow! The gifts were wonderful. Each one of us ended with a shopping bag of goodies - bath products, chocolate candy, cookies, costume jewelry, etc. We even wore our Christmas "ugly" sweater for the occasion.

Ordered their zucchini eggplant pizza and the vegetables especially eggplant tasted like dish soap. Good crust and cheese though and all other menus we ordered was fine.

Nice Italian (or better American-Italian) restaurant in Alameda. It is located in an open shopping center and it was very crowded when we arrived for dinner. Reservation is required unless you are ok with eating late (Americans usually eat early, or at least per European standards). It is a very standard menu for Italian restaurants in the Bay Area. Appetizers where great. We had carpaticcio and octopus. Both were really good even if octopus appetizer was more potato then octopus. I had salad with pears and gorgonzola. It was really good except gorgonzola was really missing in action. Main dishes very mainly disappointment. They were ok, but nothing really special. The desert was good according to my family. Portions were decent and prices were inline with restaurant inflation this days in Bay Area. In one world: Ok.

Exquisite service and menu! Giuseppe and his entire family are there every day running the kitchen, managing the front, and waiting tables to ensure quality and, well....because it's just how much they love their restaurant! As someone who travels to Italy, 2-3 times per year, I'd say Trabocco delivers the most authentic Italian dining experience I've ever had in the US. Drink tip: ask if they'll make a "Spritzmouthe" for your apertivo

Always 5 stars. If you haven't been here, you are missing out. Always the best atmosphere, the family that owns/runs this place, know my wife and I just by what we usually order. Don't deprive yourself. Come here. Have a drink or two. Eat. Socialize and see how a fabulous restaurant should operate. I recommend this place to all my friends if they are in his area. Trabocco never disappoints! Absolutely my favorite place to eat in Alameda!
