Substantial
pizza,
fair
pricing,
and
cozy
seating
make
this
North
Beach
Pizza
location
worthy
of
four
stars.
Near
closing
time,
I
went
here
for
some
food.
I'd
never
been
to
any
North
Beach
Pizza
location,
so
I
spent
some
time
flipping
through
the
extensive
menu
before
asking
the
cashier
what
he
recommended.
He
said
he
liked
the
margherita
pizza,
so
that's
what
I
got.
I
got
the
personal
size,
because
I
was
alone
and
that
seemed
like
a
reasonable
option
because
they
didn't
seem
to
have
single
slices
at
the
time.
However,
I
didn't
see
that
it
said
10
inches,
so
I
assumed
it
would
be
the
size
of
a
small
plate.
I
also
wanted
a
drink,
so
I
bought
a
bottle
of
Martinelli's
apple
juice.
My
total
was
about
$17
after
taxes,
excluding
tip.
While
my
pizza
was
being
made,
I
went
to
the
restroom,
which
was
clean
enough
and
kind
of
dimly
lit.
The
dining
area
was
even
dimmer,
with
overhead
lamps
that
focused
on
the
tables.
There
wasn't
a
lot
of
seating,
but
there
was
enough.
This
place
probably
gets
crowded
during
the
day.
When
my
pizza
was
brought
to
me,
I
was
shocked
at
how
big
it
was.
I
struggled
to
eat
half
of
it,
because
I
wasn't
particularly
hungry.
The
crust
was
definitely
thicker
than
other
margherita
pizzas
I've
had.
It
was
crisped,
but
also
nice
and
soft,
kind
of
like
a
fresh
pretzel.
I
feel
like
their
dough
would
make
great
breadsticks.
The
cheese
was
nice
and
stretchy,
but
the
basil
wasn't
exactly
neatly
chopped
and
could've
been
spread
out
a
little
more.
Also,
the
tomato
slices
were
kind
of
thick.
After
finishing
half,
I
got
a
box
and
took
the
rest
for
later.
I
feel
like
I
got
plenty
of
food
for
the
price.
The
service
was
excellent
considering
they
were
about
to
close.
I
didn't
really
like
the
pizza,
but
it
was
still
decent
and
I
think
I
would've
liked
it
more
if
I
were
hungrier.
Overall,
I
feel
like
the
experience
deserved
four
stars.
