I recently had 2 watches needing minor repairs. I had been putting it off for over a year. I decided on a nice afternoon in which I was off work early to stop by and see Leonel. His shop is tucked away just off the main street. I was greeted by a nice man who quoted me a great price and an even better time frame for repairs. I happily handed my watches to him and came back a little later. The work was excellent, timely, and very affordable. You can bet I will have all of my watches serviced here. 6/5 stars

I asked Leonel to polish my watch and he promised to do that in 5 days. 5 days later I visited him, but my watch was not ready. Leonel told me that polisher is broken, blah-blah, and promised to finish in 2 days. 2 days later... same story again. 5 more days... nothing. I spent 3 hours of my life driving back and forth, 2 weeks in waiting and didn't get the job done. I decided to take my watch back, this can go on forever. Leonel is unreliable. I will never return here again.

Time stands still @ Leonel’s-literally-but in the best possible way. Seems like there are fewer and fewer places left for watch repairs. I went in this afternoon hoping he could change my watch battery and maybe purchase a new band. Not only did he change the battery on the spot, but he also had a perfect leather watch band. I loved the quote taped to his counter. Prices are very fair. Do not hesitate to patronize this small business.

Newly relocated from Midwest so I hit the jackpot today finding Leonels watch repair in San Bruno. I needed battery replacement in two watches and a small repair to a bracelet. Great business owner that takes pride in his work, service with a smile, timely repair & reasonable pricing! Thanks Leonel! 😊

Opening promptly at 1000, the man in the picture, wearing magnifying headgear, not overly tall, welcomed me. I brought two watches. #1 is a model 3054 Casio wave ceptor that as of late has not been picking up the radio synchronization signals from Colorado for several days. Assuming it was a low battery, I was informed by the proprietor that the battery was still good. He politely handed it back. #2 is a cheap Casio model 3224 that I've had for several years. Proprietor said this battery was good with no change necessary. He handed back the watch. No money exchanged hands. Unfortunately I did not ask what he charges for Casio watch battery swaps. My impression was that this proprietor knows Casio watches...parking can be a challenge. It is defended by the city of San Bruno with 2-hour parking. If my Casio watches do need batteries, I shall return. Highly recommend this establishment. Update -- 072322, Sa, 1025: Stepped in with a Seiko SNE 039 (solar) and the kind proprietor was seated at his work desk wearing head gear and lamp shining brightly on his work at hand. Looking up he greeted me quite pleasantly. My smirky reply was, "Rolex or Omega, kind Sir?" Taking less than a minute, faster than a speeding bullet, the proprietor removed one link making for a perfect, not wobbly, fit to my left wrist for the above mentioned wrist watch. Fee = $10. I was amazed at the prompt efficiency, thinking I was going to return later for the work done. I was stunned over how fast my request was accomplished. As the gentle proprietor was handing back my change, I pressed my initial question by saying, "You haven't answered my question regarding Rolex or Omega, Sir." Smiling, looking me in the eye, he replied, "Both are too expensive." I thanked him and stepped out...I highly highly recommend this business. The proprietor knows his stuff and his prices are very fair & reasonable not to mention how quickly he works. Cash only; no cards, no tap-n-pay, no NFC, which is ok since there is a Citi Bk very near by.

Brought my 11-year old G-Shock with parts that I bought from the manufacturer to get it restored as the case and straps were really damaged throughout years of using it when playing sports, swimming and everyday use. This watch has a very high sentimental value for me as it was given as a gift by my grandparents when I was a kid. When I dropped it off, Leonel initially noticed and showed me that it seemed like it didn't totally fit but I told him he can try and see what he can do. I received a call later on and he told me it really didn't fit but he said he can try to do one last thing; another technique so we do not force it because it might break. Trusted him and he did the job for a very fair price. You would know he's really experienced and he knows what he's doing.

Brought my watch clasp here for tightening and this lovely gentleman helped me in less than 3 minutes! I'll be back with my Omega and any other watch repairs we need. A fantastic experience.

I needed help putting the cover back on my watches after replacing the battery. Leonel helped me put back the cover for two watches free of charge, whereas other watch repair shops quoted me between $10-$20. Stellar service. Highly recommend!

I just had a battery replaced for my wife's Ebel wristwatch and a less expensive wristwatch. It was finished in less than 30 minutes and very reasonable. This is the first time we used Leonel's Watch & Jewelry Repair and we were very satisfied with the work, price and courtesy that we received. . . .I highly recommend Leonels.

Leonel fixed two watches for me, but I didn't realize he wasn't taking credit cards. He trusted that I would pay him, even though I was from Southern California. What a nice, honest guy!

Leo is very friendly and welcoming but the service is lacking. He had a hard time finding my watches and after 5 months one watch stopped working though he had just changed the battery

I normally don't provide reviews, however, I could not pass this up. I have a small collection of g-shocks, suuntos and garmins. My battery on indicator started to flash on my Mudmaster (gg-1000-1). Located watch repair store in my area. Contacted the stop and spoke with Leonel. Asked if an appointment was needed, he replied no appointment was needed. When, I arrived to the store. Leonel looked over the watch and provided me an estimate. He went into the detail of the battery replacement. I agreed to the price. He said come back in 45minutes to an hour. I told him to take his time and no rush was needed. I went to the eat at the Deli down the street. Love their sub sandwiches. Returned to the store and Leonel mentioned he just finished and mentioned that the watch took 2 batteries. I asked him so what was the total. He responded. He didn't know that this particular watch took 2 batteries and could not charge me what he had quoted earlier. I was about to pay for time/services, but before I paid him. I asked if could I look the watch over. I notice the adjustment button on my watch wasn't functioning correctly. I asked him about it. He took the watch back and needed 15 minutes. In no time he had the button as functioning as it should. I paid him and went on my way. Leonel's customer service and professionalism has left a long last impression on me. I will not hesitate to take my future watch repair to Leonel. Thanks again Leonel!!

I went to Leonel's shop looking to replace the battery for my G-shock. He not only replaced the battery for me, but he also readjusted the hands after he saw they were not in sync with the time on the digital face - and all for a reasonable price. His shop is worth your time and money. I would definitely come back here again

Leonel was wonderful. I needed a new battery in my watch and he did it in less than 10 minutes. He was so accomodating. Just like the reviews said. Would highly recommend.

I don't normally write reviews, but everyone here is right. Leonel is clearly a good person with a good heart doing good work. Thank you!
