    I had a phone appointment with Dr. Olga Darnall, a Gynaecologist. The scheduled time for the call was between 2-8 pm, which was quite a broad range (should have gave a disclaimer- will be calling early…). I emailed the doctor a few days before the appointment to confirm the date and time. However, the doctor called at 1:50 pm when I was in a meeting. I requested a callback at 2 pm, the time I was told to be available, but unfortunately, the doctor never called back. People have to work and if you’re going to set an appointment with someone. Call at the time the appointment was set at…not earlier. No one has time to wait all day and be free ..that’s why appointments are made. At 2 pm, I emailed the doctor to let her know I was available, but there was no response. Feeling frustrated, I called the office at 2:30 pm to explain the situation. The receptionist said she’ll leave a note to the doctor to call back but in the end of it. I didn’t not receive a single call. I waited until 8pm!! I found the lack of professionalism disappointing, and I cannot recommend this experience.

    Horrible. I call at 10, right as they open. On hold for 40 minutes, supposedly "1st in line", then dropped. I phone throughout the week, always on hold. They close phones at 3, so I phone at 2 - the machine informs me that the phones close at 3... And that I am calling outside of phone hours. Whenever I walk in in person to force an appointment it works and there's always someone available at the front desk. They are -not- always on the phone. This means that either the phone system is MASSIVELY flawed or the front desk employees are incredibly lazy. This is not acceptable, this is our health.

    AVOID THIS CLINIC I had a phone appointment on several occasions I had to be the one to contact the clinic hours after to ensure I was still going to receive the call. A few occasions the doctor did NOT bother to contact me for phone visits. The receptionist does NOT do their jobs & the doctors don’t call back. As a patient I better NOT be billed to MSP on my behalf when I have not been called or seen by the Doctor. I have to chase down my own family doctor & the staff to get their jobs done. This clinic is non dependable for health requirements & does NOT meet the standards of a physician to patient practice.

    Booked a telephone appt for 9:20am today. Had many emails and text messages on days leading up to today reminding me of the appointment. Got a text message at 7:50am today again reminding me that I have an appointment. All great! However no calls-in fact nobody called me the whole day for the appointment. I tried calling the clinic twice. Second time, I waited on hold for an hour before they hung up on me. It’s 8pm now and still no emails or text messages or phone calls regarding what happened.

    Waiting for 2 hours even made an appointment for the immigration Medical exam, and taking much time to send it to IRCC even the radiology reported to results. At least a few hours to wait for the phone calls to connect, the guidance told us the caller number in the que, and once it's next to talk to the medical reception, the phone call automatically disconnected. the MOA told me that Dr. is busy and there are 700 documents in front of Fax, so they can't organize them immediately for Dr. to see the results and sending them to IRCC. My application was almost failed since that wasn't upfront medical exam. Very unreliable clinic, not recommend to anybody.

    Receptionist was rude and unprofessional, I recieved a call about a consultation and when I called back she said "I have to ask my coworker if they called you and they aren't in the office" and then hung up. No follow up. I was recommended here by my doctor's office and immediately called my office and requested a different refferal. Totally unorganized, unprofessional, and rude.

    This is the worst clinic in Burnaby. Last time I went there to check a month long stomach ache the doctor didn't do any exam and just told me it could be anxiety and sent me home. And the clinic manager was rude, the owner of the clinic didn't care for all the bad reviews that's happening to this clinic. Avoid at all cost.

    Don’t make appointment in this clinc, Dr. Send us for ultrasound, we did ultrasound and we make twice appointment for ultrasound result , but doctors told us we don’t got your result yet , then I called to lab where i done my ultrasound, they told me they already send them report on same. They said i will send again. They can got in 20 mintues. Then i called again to this clinc for making new appointment for ultrasound result or confirm they got my reports, But. My call was on wait list 17 . I wait 2 hrs for my turn and then after 2 hr they cancelled my called. ( this is canada medical system ? ). we pay taxes they don’t care us . My wife is pregent. Thats her ultrasound . We are waiting ultrasound approx 9 days for results. This ultrasound is very important for her. What we can do now ?

    If you don’t have an appointment don’t go there! with 3 people in front of me as a walk- in patient i’m waiting already for 4(!!) hours! I have told at front desk that i need med prescription only. They not even mentioned that it’s a huge waiting time. I’m sitting here with fever severe throat pain and waiting , and waiting

    1. The office does not fax the refills 2. The virtual appointment I booked simply did not happen with no warning or rebooking 3. After doctor did not call I sent an email to the office, which was completely ignored. As a result I'm unable to get my medication on time. I'm taking this medication last 20 years and cant skip. I suggest people use telusMyCare, where your appointment will never be missed.

    I wish I could’ve give this clinic 0!!! What a irresponsible clinic!!!!! I called them 3 times for phone call appointments and I’ve been told that it’s gonna be at 12:50, then called again and they said at 2:25, and called again and they said, Dr will call you soon before we close!!!!!!!!!! And I didn’t get any phone call!!!!!!! If you guys can’t handle this problem, so you should NOT promise a patient!!! Other than that, they told me you need to pay 30$ CASH, if you need a doctor note and we don’t accept the card! What a clinic!

    Clearly this clinic doesn't entertain phone calls. It's hard to reach someone. I have a phone consultation and received an email saying the doctor will call me anytime around 11am - 8pm but never received a phone consultation instead the doctor left a voice mail asking if I have a question. This clinic is terrible.

    The other poor reviews about this medical clinic are true. I also like many others received a call for an appointment I didn’t know I had. I did not miss any correspondence. In fact I called and emailed this clinic many times over months with no response. Ask for another referral if you get referred here so you don’t waste your time.

    I had phone session with doctor, didnt receive the call after an hour, so called the clinic at 3pm there is nobody answer, line dropped automatically whereas their auto answer says phone will be answered till 4pm. Not recommended.

    I have seen Dr. Darnall at this office and she has been the BEST specialist I have had the pleasure to meet. She listens and spends the right amount of time (doesn't rush through anything), pays extra attention to details, and just overall acts like she cares about her patients. I felt like this was the best health care I have received in many many years (or maybe ever..). Her assistant Stephanie was super accommodating, answered all of my questions, and gave me the same treatment that Dr. Darnall did - kindness and care. Thank you both!

    After trying several clinics in Burnaby over the last week or so we went to TLC Medical around 8:30 am today and the receptionist said the wait would be about 45 minutes. With a 2 and 4 year old we waited about 10 minutes and were delighted that the receptionist asked us to go into the room to wait for the doctor to see them. He arrived very quickly and prescribed antibiotics and puffers, so we were really glad that we brought them in. I was very happy to be able to walk into a clinic as it seems like our medical system is really failing us in so many ways. Thank you so much TLC Medial staff.

    I found this Walkin clinic when I went to Shoppers to buy medicine for my knee injury and infection last weekend. Right next to Highgate Shoppers. As a new patient, you must first register online before queuing. It took about 40 minutes from registration to seeing the doctor. Their waiting hall is very large, with 9 consulting rooms. 4 doctors on weekends. Dr. Weinberg asked me questions very politely and attentively, told me the severity of the infection, he gave me a prescription for ointment and antibiotics, and personally took me to Shoppers pharmacy to find a tetanus vaccine. I think they are great!

    If I could give it negative stars I would. Had a walk in appointment by phone, no one called me. Sent them three emails to see why the appointment hadn't happened, received no answer. Resorted to calling them just to be hung up on when I was second in queue at the twenty minute mark. Twice. Haven't even managed to see a doctor there yet. Very poor customer service.

    Minimal wait times and extremely thorough care by Dr. Weinberg for both myself and my 3 year old son. When Dr. Weinberg was called out for an emergency he made sure I could still be seen by another physician in the clinic. The receptionists have been wonderful at following up with referrals and faxing prescriptions, tasks etc.

    My daughter waited at home for a 10:30 phone call to quickly let her know about test results. At 11:30 we went to the highgate location because no one was answering the phone. Told to wait for an uncertain amount of time for in person or wait for another call between 2 and 4!! Currently waiting in person, missing a whole day of school and had to cancel another appointment... 2 hrs is not an ok wait time even in BC. Update. Got in to see the Doc in person at 12:45. No apology from the Doctor or staff. Specialist phone appointment set up with a Doctor who is in states!? How is that ok? Making some calls tomorrow about all this.

    Update: Received a call from Dr Weinberg at 5:55 pm and I have the perscription. Thank you!! Needed a have a perscription refill, Dr Weinberg was supposed to call at 2pm, called the office at 2:30 pm to see if he was going to call, was told will be called with in 1.5 hours. It is 5:39 pm and I am still waiting. Of course the office is closed. I have been with Dr Verobechyk for 20 years, but now it’s impossible to get an appt for at least 6 weeks. The front staff is absolutely atrocious. Do not know how to handle the patients, have no clue how to run the office.

    We had a great experience at this clinic. We are so thankful for the helpful staff working on the desk, as well as Dr. Weinberg for going above and beyond to help our 3 years old with her ear pain. From our brief interactions we can tell he genuinely cares. Thank you Dr. Weinberg for all you do and for the TLC team. We are truly grateful for you.

    Incredible doctors, secretaries are a little bit disorganized and it seems that this office can be very backlogged, appointment time estimates seldom match the speed you are served with. Dr. Weinberg is an amazing doctor that really cares about getting to the root of his patients problems. If you are in need of urgent care this is probably your best bet in the area.

    Booked 1:40 PM for my baby’s health check, still waiting to see the doctor at 02:36 PM. Not sure how long to wait for. This is the second time for me to be in this clinic. Last time the doctor came late to the office, too. Any other clinic should be considered. People here don't respect your time.

    If I could rate 0 stars I would. I was referred to Dr. Darnell at this clinic almost three months ago. They scheduled a phone call appointment with me for Nov, then two days before it cancelled the appointment for no reason. I had to reach out asking them to reschedule, which they did and then for that phone appointment I just never received a call at all! I followed up with them and expressed my frustration at the lack of communication and professionalism and they never responded. Instead, 2 days later I got an email saying they had rebooked me for a date and time I am not available for and it was never discussed with me. So I again followed up saying Im not available and expressing my frustration at the lack of communication (can’t get anyone on the phone either) and I just received a phone call today and find out they cancelled my in person appointment and rejected my referral to send me to someone else who is not available until Christmas time. DO NOT GO HERE. Horrible staff, completely unaccountable and unprofessional and have zero communication skills.

    I would give it no stars. It is terrible clinic!!! To get an appointment you will spend hours on hold, and then when you get of hold of the receptionist they are booked month in advance. You then waiting month for the call and call doesn't happened. You call them back and are told that wait is 2+ hours as doctor is running behind. Same scenario if you book it online!
