Had a great stay in this hotel, it is very modern and clean. The rooms have laminate floors instead of the typical carpet which made the space feel clean. I had a kitchenette in my suite which was convenient. Service was fabulous and the breakfast options were great. Would stay here again in the future. Location is very close to different parts of the city, however the ability to get into the hotel parking is challenging depending on the direction you're coming in from. Recommend checking google maps to plan your route to and from your destination as you can't turn in from both directions.

THIS front desk lady (name starts with K) was extremely unprofessional. We stayed there from 8/20-8/22. Check-in - We requested more Kleenex boxes (because me and my partner were both having seasonal allergies). She said no because there was a box of Kleenex in the room already. - We requested more pillows (because I needed to lift my legs up due to pregnancy). She said that there were no enough pillows but she would double check. (What kind of hotel would run out of pillows??????) Stay (ADA room, because I needed extra support in shower) - I was in the middle of showering and found the drain was clogged. My hair was not even wet yet. The ADA room only had a small gap between shower and bathroom floor, so if I continued, the water would flow out. We called for service help. After the investigation, the person couldn’t help us without equipment and would let the front desk lady know we wanted to switch to another room. We waited for at least 15 minutes in the room, and there was no any phone call. My partner then went down to get help. The same front desk lady replied to my partner that she did receive the complaint but she thought it was just drained slowly. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ [10:30pm] Finally she helped us switch to another room. However, she did not offer options to accommodate our needs. It was late and we were so tired so we decided not to argue. The next day, finally someone contacted us about providing a chair for the shower. When we checked out, we complained to the other staff. He was nice and offered us points rewards or waved the parking fees. Even though we got to wave the two nights parking fees (just 40 CAD), it was still a terrible experience. We choose Marriott to stay and have their membership because of their service and quality. This is the worst experience we have ever had with Marriott…

Our apartment was recently flooded and we had to find an alternative place to live. We stayed at Element for 1.5 months and can say this hotel is really nice! The location is very convenient, within walking distance to skytrain, malls, and all kinds of restaurants. The room is spacious and clean, has everything we needed. There's also a swimming pool and hot tub for guests to enjoy. A special shout out to Avatar from house keeping and Andrei at the front desk, their excellent customer service has made our stay extra special, thank you!

Very clean and higher end hotel. Almost felt like a 5 star. King bed room was very spacious. Bathroom was fairly big as well. Stove, sink and fridge were a plus. In a very convenient location in Metro Town. The free breakfast was great. A+

Staff was friendly, rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. However the hood fan above the stove had some flap inside that kept banging all night keeping me awake. The annoying noise was so irritating I left my room at 4am and checked out if the hotel. I later heard from other guest they had the same noise in their rooms.

Hotel gave me accessible room that I did not book. Heavy electric accessible bathroom door did not work so I had to move it manually to open and close. Worse this door would open and close randomly making lots of noise at night so couldn't sleep well. Room also smelled like cigarette smoke and had sewer flies. I asked for partial refund for all this and hotel refused but said they'd give Marriott points worth over $60. Looked up points value and they lied - points they gave were worth $35. Recommend you stay elsewhere.

Stayed here a few weeks ago and it was lovely. Parking was easy, lots of great food options nearby. The hotel room was spacious, modern, and the bed was so comfy! The shower was echoey, which was wonderful for shower singing. The pool, hot tub, and sauna were so relaxing. The continental breakfast was impressive, and quality. Will definitely stay here again next time I stay in Burnaby overnight.

Clean, spacious and great views. Bonus points for having a sauna, hot tub and decent gym. Free continental breakfast too. TV is a bit small but not a big deal for me personally.

First time i stayed here, 2nights, and i am glad i did. Great location, free underground parking, nice and clean and well maintained hotel. Rooms very modern and has a total feel like living in an apartment. Kitchen is a full kitchen with everything you need even cookware, cups, glasses, etc. Receptionist very friendly and professional. Breakfast included and excellent, gym and other amenities perfect. Recommended for sure.

Fantastic stay, close to many, many amenities. Room was great and thermostat easy to control. Plenty of underground parking. There is a breakfast. The dinner snack is small (as advertised up front), but it's a great kickoff to finding a great meal in the area. So much to choose from! The staff were all super fantastic and I'm looking forward to my next stay. Kudos!

I went to Element a few weeks ago and all I can say is that it as an amazing hotel. The staff are very kind and helpful. There is an indoor pool at this hotel. There is a lounge on the fifth floor with a giant TV and a few couches and chairs. In the morning right next to the lounge is a complimentary breakfast bar with things like bagels. The rooms are very nice and the hotel is very clean. 5-star rating.

Great location, great hotel. Suggestions: 1) dirty towels & trash bags should be placed in hidden location vs in guests’ hallways (especially by elevators landing area) 2) breakfast attendants (males) could be friendlier, we stayed 5 days not once they greeted us. Otherwise, excellent service overall. Thanks

The rooms are very nice and all have kitchenettes which can be convenient. There are many restaurants nearby as well as a grocery store right next door. I really appreciated the on/off buttons for the fridge and freezer as I have issues sleeping in the same room as a fridge; the compressor usually wakes me up through the night. Not a problem here as I could simply turn them off! The bed was comfortable; the pillows were super soft and I had to stack three of them to obtain my preferred head height. I slept alright although I did hear the traffic on Kingsway. Probably not an issue on the other side of the building.

Great hotel! New and clean with comfy beds and a great bathroom. The views from the balconies are great!! The breakfast was a nice yogurt, pastries and an apple. The pool was closed which was a bummer. Hopefully they will open soon. Easy and fast check-in.

Amazing experience. Just checked in with our family for a hockey tournament and needed a room change and the service was so kind and friendly. The room is spotless (and we are clean freaks). The vibe of the hotel is amazing. The view is unreal! So glad we get to comfortably stay here for three nights ☺️ super lovely front desk personnel!

I had booked Element Hotel for a preferred rate as my company had suggested I called. I did not state the party was AT Element, but that I worked for the company that had a rate with Element. I receive a call a week before my trip: “so we thought the party was here” “I absolutely did not say that” “so the increase is now 220, from 150” “well i did not budget for that and you’re telling me a week before my trip?” I am wholly disappointed and will not be booking in future with Element. At least honor the amount that was told to me.

I have stayed at this hotel on business a couple of times now and the people who work here are game changing good at what they do. My most recent stay has been over the past two weeks where I have been lucky enough to have my partner and fifteen month old daughter staying with me. The staff have been altogether incredible. From the front desk, to the cafe, housekeepers and maintenance, everyone has been personable and accommodating to two, first-time parents making the best of a sometimes challenging work/life situation. It has been some of the best service I have had in a hotel and I travel a fair bit. The hotel itself and the amenities are good, maybe average, and the price point is a bit high in comparison to others in the neighbourhood. I think adding a full service lounge would be a nice improvement. Room had a good view and its nice to have the kitchette on a longer stay. Will be back and can't say enough about the staff.

Great view, great breakfast, ok clean rooms, they have sauna as well but my son cut his foot in the pool, stairs in the pool had something there and also the jacuzzi/hottub in pool area was not working.

Conveniently located with access to the nearby metro station. Free parking is included in the same building. Had a king bed room for the week and the room comes with a full kitchen. It's a good thing the fridge and freezer are easy to turn off, as they are literally right next to the bed, in case you are a light sleeper. Bathroom was very nice. The HVAC system in the room was hit or miss. Often the room was cold and I had to crank the thermostat to get some kind of response. The room decorator needs to revisit the furniture layout for practicality. If one wants to watch TV from the couch, it requires your neck to be craned 90 degrees to the side since the TV unit swivels, but cannot be moved. I ended up moving the couch in front of the TV. The free internet connection turned out to be the slowest ever in a hotel. Barely a few Mbits came through on the wireless, as well as the wired connection. The front desk staff upgraded me for free to the paid (!) premium "high-speed" connection, which turned out to be a mere 6-8 Mbits, wow. Another call later I was upgraded yet again and finally got double digit transfer rates usable for Skype calls. In this day and age a fast free connection should be included and has always been in other hotels. Breakfast had a good selection (even croissants, which unfortunately were old and reheated the second day). Their breakfast sandwiches were not great, but there were enough other options available. The pool was small and the shower was out of order. The so-called change rooms turned out to be glorified washrooms with a shower. No lockers or any racks or surfaces to put your stuff when getting changed.

I love hotel! Great locations with so many restaurant and other amenities in the area. Love that it's connect to a GoodLife and a great Italian restaurant! The rooms are clean and new. Best part is the mini kitchen that I can cook breakfast and have a fridge for snacks and drinks.

A statement has been made about the problems encountered during the stay and feedback to Marriott customer service. The front desk has given me an apology, I just hope that the next customers will get better service, the lack of trust is irreparable, I hope the hotel will cherish every upcoming guest

We loved loved loved this hotel. Great location in Burnaby next to lots of restaurants. Free breakfast was included and it was delicious, toast, bagels, eggs, coffee, fruit, yogurt, all great. There is a small swimming pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and gym. Parking was an extra $20.

The rooms are so clean, the views are amazing, the pool is quiet and relaxing, within walking distance of so many restaurants, a grocery store and a nice mall. You need a card to access the elevators, so no strangers wandering the halls, very safe and well lit.

This hotel is near (6 minute walk) from Metrotown Skytrain station, with far fewer crackhead/fentanyl zombies than anywhere downtown. The hotel is clean and the rooms decent sized, and often lower rates than downtown. Downside: like many hotels, they profiteer from overpriced pop, bottled water and snacks. Stay away from their tidbit shop. The overpriced whatever turns intelligent guests off.

Love how this location was near shopping mall, Save on Foods, Shoppers. Hotel very clean. Delicious free breakfast. Swimming area was nice. The italian restaurant attached to the hotel was AMAZING. Cons: Horrible pillows. Front staff weren't very friendly. Mattress was way tooo soft. Paid parking is quite expensive $20/day.

I was at the hotel for a company dinner. The banquet room was dimmed enough that when we had dinner, it wasn't easy to see what your were eating, which I suspect was intentional. It was a buffet style dinner, and I only took items I knew I would/should be ok with. Overall, I think the only portion that wasn't terrible was the roasted veg (turnip, zucchini and peppers I think?). It was a turkey dinner, but the turkey was chewy tough. I ate something tough but less chewy than the turkey and it took me a minute to realize it was the stuffing. The artichokes were almost bitter. I don't even recall seeing gravy. We had a dinner there pre-covid and I don't remember it being this bad. If we have it there again, I definitely won't be attending. Service was ok. It's buffet style, they take your dishes, however they were slow to get replacement trays of food out. It seemed it had to be empty before they brought more. I'm half hour drive away so I didn't stay, can't offer a review on the hotel itself. Other than, it's an odd setup because the building is half hotel, half residential and the underground parking doesn't give useful directions to come up on the hotel side so it can be a bit confusing.

Really enjoying this hotel it's rated as only a 3 star but the condition, amenities build and unique modern design worthy of at least a 4 star. Our room has a nice kitchenette and much roomier than the Hilton's king size suite without kitchenette.

**Wedding Venue Alert** Had a gorgeous outdoor wedding ceremony on the terrace of element hotel. Our arch background had an amazing view of the mountains and North Van. The hotel team, especially Roxanne-sales manager was super accommodating and responsive during the planning process. Also, gave us a great deal for the venue and accommodations at the hotel. I really recommend this location for anyone looking for wedding venues that won’t put a hole in your pocket yet look great effortlessly.

The staff here are so wonderful! they were so accommodating to our circumstance and having a dog. We stayed at the element for 3 months due to being relocated for jobs and having a extension of completion on our home. We couldn't be more grateful for staying here and seeing the same staff greet us each day with smiles and kindness. Anything needed for the room was brought to us quickly and our room smelt amazing from the house cleaners on clean days. Nothing but 5 stars from us for the amazing staff and service we received! Thank you all so much for being so kind and accommodating! As happy as we are to be moving into our home we will miss you!

This was our second time at this hotel. First experience was wonderful. Rooms were nice, clean and modern. The housekeepers were friendly, service was great. Last night was our second time there. When I found out there were no toothbrush and toothpaste in the washroom, i called the front desk to request some. Instead of sending them up to the room, I was asked to go downstairs to pick them up myself. If room service was not available, why not provide them to us at the first place when we were right there checking in? Bad service for a not so cheap hotel.

Stayed for two nights. Pro: Breakfast was real food, Breakfast items okay to take to room, Kitchen was nice, Swimming pool was clean and warm, Close to groceries and restaurants, Kindly plastic bagged my lost item to be retrieved Con: Once shared an elevator with CLEANING staff handling a stack of $5, Not enough hooks in shower rooms, Breakfast wrap up starts 15 minutes early

Another superb stay. Great location- Skytrain is a short walk if you want to go downtown without the hassle of parking, and there are numerous restaurants to walk to (and a supermarket across the street if you prefer to stay in). And then there’s Central Park - very beautiful. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable, and breakfasts are varied and offer a wide selection. Staff always go out of their way to create a gluten-free option for me. And while the hotel itself is very comfortable, it’s truly the staff who make all the difference. Professional, friendly, and accommodating - from front desk to housekeeping. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Great property. Stayed in a corner suite. Well appointed, full kitchen including dishwasher. Everything you need in a central location. Air conditioning, heated, balcony, great views, and excellent shower. Separate bedroom, spacious living room area, two TVs and a desk to work at Hope to use more of the facilities tomorrow, I'll stay here again 👍

Don't forget to use ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any place. This web site will compare countless booking web sites and typically will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This hotel is one of the highest rated in the area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you choose this place you won't be disappointed. Really enjoying this hotel it's rated as only a 3 star but the condition, amenities build and unique modern design worthy of at least a 4 star. This was a great stay! I loved the sauna and hot tub! The rooms were clean and spacious. The breakfast was meh and we were done with it by the second day. The hotel is in a great location. Close to malls and restaurants at walking distance.

  • 4/5 Henry D. 1 year ago on Google
Conveniently located and with convenient on-site underground parking, this is a pretty good hotel with ample amenities including a pool, 24 hour fitness center, and free breakfast daily. The lower score is due to the broken air conditioning in our suite during the midst of a heat wave and while we were moved to another room (not the type we reserved), it was still a fiasco that included waiting in the defective one while the temperature climbed to 29 Celsius and having to move.

  • 5/5 Kenneth L. 1 year ago on Google
Great place the stay and they’re pet friendly! They only have 1 EV charger (level 2) on P1 by the reception entrance but 5 EV parking spots. Room was very nice and clean with a full kitchen.

Really nice hotel with exceptionally friendly and accommodating staff. Only downside was no late night children restrictions on the pool, hot tub and sauna (which children should not be using anyway). I went down one night at 10.30pm and there were children running along the pool, bombing into the pool, and their parents drinking alcohol alongside - absolute chaos. This hotel should implement children free hours at the very least from 9pm-11pm. To have children running riot at 10.30pm was absolutely wild and irresponsible of the hotel not to implement this. I booked this hotel to be able to use the facilities and I could not.

While on a surprise trip to Vancouver area, (a buddy of mine flew me out because he got lonely) we were posted up here, the location is beautiful, great view, easy access to the local area. Not to mention that food delivery is radially available at this location. The shower (without tub thank god) is amazing, spacious and gives you a feeling of luxury. A surprise as the expectations were that of a normal hotel. The underground parking is welcomed and there is nothing wrong (that I’ve seen) with this hotel. A great pick if you’re ever travelling to Vancouver
