Great views of fraser river, especially sunset. Flat and short walk, but now you can walk along west beach as far as to Cambie street.

A lovely riverside park with lots of benches, tables, and green space. Thereโ€™s a fitness circuit with chin up bars and assorted work out equipment. Youโ€™ll find gorgeous, classic trees, numerous covered picnic tables and an off leash area for dogs. A fun playground for toddlers and a climbing structure for older kids. Washrooms and plenty of parking, too. Great park!

A very popular park at the south end of Byrne Road. A nice place to come for picnic in the warm weather. There are lots of space for picnic. There are a few tables and on the western edge there are places reserved for family picnic. It is also a great place to come for walking or jogging. The park has a few exercise stations, a childrenโ€™s play ground and washrooms.

Peaceful park next to the Fraser River. It is a good spot for family gatherings and picnics. It has a well maintained public washroom, a lot of parking space, playground, and gym facilities.

Beautiful park, dog friendly, nice walking trails along the river. They have nice proper washrooms with running water not just an outhouse. Lots of seating with benches and picnic tables. Along the walk there is spread out exercise equipment. Fun playground. They have bookable / rentable covered picnic areas for groups. If you're looking for a nice walk along the water this is a great place to check out. There are a few parking lots but lots of street parking too.

I have visited Fraser Foreshore Park several times with my daughter. It has a nice trail that ambles alongside the river. At the eastern end, it has newer play structures which are great for younger kids. Pets need to be leashed throughout the park but it does provide for some nice leisurely and picturesque strolls. The park has been very clean every time Iโ€™ve been there. There are some benches and picnic tables sprinkled throughout the park for this looking for an al-fresco meal.

New park we explored yesterday. Nice place for kids to play, with exercise equipment for adults. Not as big as other parks, yet still nice and is set up for walkers and runners. They are building a new restroom and is a ways from completion.

Nice walk along Frazer River. It is a living proof of lumber industry. The scenery is nice. I like the blue sky reflected on the water. The walk can extended to hours if you choose to.

Toxic air due to the incinerator only a few hundred meters away. It is burning garbage 24/7 spreading cancerous fume - many carcinogens - into the air in the park. Limit the visits if you are pregnant or have genetic proneness - family history, etc. for cancer.

Great place for a walk close to the city reasonably easy to get good social distancing. Lots of trails and open space right on the river. Good for dogs, cats, and families to walk and bike. A good place on a windy day to fly a kite.

Great area to go walking. Lots of trails that split off so you can have a different walk each time, and beautiful views. I went Sunday morning, and it was overcast, but it wasnt busy at all. However, there were quite a few dogs off leash, out of the 6 people I saw with dogs 4 had their dogs off leash. I was disappointed because my dog is reactive and we need space, and she is particularly fearful of off leash dogs. But, the wide trails make it easy to get that space, and the owners were all very good at leashing or controlling their dogs as we came by. But, there is an off leash area in the opposite direction where people can take their dogs if they want them to be off leash. I avoided that area deliberately, so to keep it a nice relaxing walk for my dog.

Love to spend sometimes to watch sunset with my wife here. Our favourite spot. Also, they just installed a new washroom.

Beautiful place, too bad all along the shore (river banks) are logs and they stink so badlyl. It's also overcrowded people are not following 6' distance during this pandemic.

Itโ€™s another great place to walk your dog off leash. A little bit of scenery and a very nice walk on a flat trail that goes about 3/4 of a km.

  • 4/5 Helly B. 9 months ago on Google
Great park along the Fraser River. Paved as well as more rustic trails, so very wheel chair accessible. Treed so there are some shady picnic areas. Not a challenging trail at all.

Nice park with a couple linear trails. A lot of people ignoring dogs on leash rules, as they do.

There's a lot you can do, hike, bike, exercise (outside gym), picnic, has playground etc. Just not suitable for swimming.

A lovely place to walk and jog, for any level! Not crowded at all. Jogging in the woods right by the river is very peaceful ๐Ÿ˜Œ become my 3rd favorite jogging place, after Stanley Park and Pier Park.

It's the Best place for me and my friends. Almost everyday when the weather is dry and sunny I could walk along the trail by the River side all day.

An easy paved trail for casual hiking along Fraser River with some river views like boats dragging logs passing by, or a flying heron landing right in front of you. Itโ€™s just 5 minuteโ€™s drive to Riverway Golf Club where you can enjoy a fantastic and reasonably priced 3 course set dinner with 3oz lobster and 6oz New York steak after a nice later afternoon walk in the park.

Nice clean park. Relatively flat trails along the Fraser river within the city limits south of Burnaby. Ample Picnic ground with tables and benches. Has bike trails and children playgrounds.

  • 3/5 Choco H. 3 years ago on Google
Medium traffic trail on a weekend morning, not much to see or play for kids, but grownups will enjoy the the trail, no elevation, and short, good for a short walk for families with young kids.

Located on the Fraser river in Burnaby, the park offers a nice exercise circuit along a walking path along the river edge. Kids playground and picnic area make it a good spot for families. Lots of fishing spots if you like to fish.

  • 5/5 Michael F. 3 years ago on Google
Big open space by the water, such parks are rare in Burnaby. Even on a busy Sunday you can still relax or take your kids to play there pretty safely. Nice variety of play structures for kids (2 years old and older). There is even a set of pull up bars! It's a big bonus for me, because I get a chance to get some exercise in, while watching my kids.

A nice and quiet park by the river. It has all the activities you wanted. It has a children's playground with a washroom nearby. A couple of exercise machines to try out. A dog's park with ample picnic area. You can even play volleyball there, just bring the net and ball. A nice bike trail runs through the park. Truly a gem.

Foreshore Park follows the Fraser River shore, hence its name. I park at the foot of Byrne Road, at the parking lot where a lovely walk through old Cottonwood trees starts (Go west). I walk until Boundary road around 45 minutes but you can continue alot farther. There is construction after Boundary so the trail may not be complete at this time. There is a lookout about half way that allows a view up and down the river. You can walk, ride or jog this trail and its good for stroller and electric assist machines. There is a picnic area, (not opened during the pandemic,) volleyball area, dog park, and a washroom.
