Love this park! It's small but it has everything! We usually stay for hours to play in the playground, wadding pool and have a picnic. If you like, you can also explore the trails around Byne Creek Ravine Park. It's some shade and a few picnic tables. My son loves the free wadding pool which is open in the summer (Tues to Fri/Sat 12noon/12:30pm to 5pm). My kids love the fire truck. The baby slide is perfect for my toddler but there's also one for five plus. There's a clean wash room facility which is a bonus. Before the pandemic, there's park leaders there every afternoon to do free arts and crafts with kids. We keep coming back!

Ron Maclean Park is a fantastic spot for a family picnic and outdoor activities. The presence of a wading pool is a definite plus, providing a refreshing way for families to cool off during the summer. The inclusion of a playground with swings and slides ensures that children have ample opportunities for play and entertainment. Moreover, the availability of a nature trail caters to those who appreciate outdoor walks and exploration, making it an ideal destination for nature enthusiasts. All in all, with its combination of picnic areas, wading pool, playground, and nature trail, Ron Maclean Park is a well-rounded and enjoyable location for families seeking a day of outdoor leisure and fun.

An awesome playground for kids to spend time on. It has couple of swings for toddlers and young kids too. There is a nice fire truck for kids to spend time on and play. It is so big that 5-6 kids can be accommodated at a single time. Another great thing about this place is it is just next to the Byrne Creek Ravine Park which is a kid friendly trail for a small river.

Ron McLean is a park located in a quiet neighborhood. The park features a small children's playground and a separate swing set with normal and baby swings. During the summer the wadding pool is full of water and families. The City of Burnaby has a small shack for arts and crafts which is also open during the summer. The park also has tennis courts and very large fields around it which have mountainous weeping willow trees. Behind the park are a few trails which lead to a small river for the adventurer inside us all. The park would be good advocate for your next school trip or work event. I would definitely recommend it. Attachment: River down trails.

Great playground, forest walking is a must. It is so close from edmond station. Its like having a nature inside the city. This wilderness necessity of the human spirit. Sometimes we get caught in the moment, so we need to enjoy the nature. Lastly, its a fablous place to get away from your stress.

I like the wading pool, ball courts, baseball diamond. Play options in the playground are OK, there are a few slide options, climbing objects, swings and see saw. I am down rating as there are very few shade options around the playground area. There is a single covered table area but it fills quickly and is far from the playground (far as in not close enough to monitor my small kids when they are playing)

Used to be such a great place to go. You could watch a baseball game, or take a walk. Now there's no room to enjoy peace.

This park has a baseball diamond, walkable trails accessed through Byrne Ravine Creek. Kids playground, accessible washroom, and a smaller kids outdoor pool (seasonal with staff. Check the website online to see when it is open). Walk through the trails, about 10-15 minutes walking from Edmonds sky train. Fully wheelchair accessible trails, when the season hits you can pick blackberries, raspberries, salmon berries. Look for woodpeckers and other birds, and wildlife while looking around.

I absolutely love this park, I've come here for walks since I was a child. Recently I picked up a new hobby, I go owl watching and I am very lucky to have seen owls in person.

last chance to play the wading pool this summer!!! definitely enjoyed (though the water was a bit cold and kids were shivering πŸ™ƒ) the playground is fun too with seesaw, bumping car and slides (of course) restroom was just next to the playground so it is really convenient least but not the least, parking space was quite sufficient too;)

Great playground with wading pool. Big slide for bigger kids and small one for under 2. Lots of room to picnic and run around. Basketball court and tennis court really close and always a baseball game to watch.

Playground equipments are not in a good shape. However it has nice green field for picnic and trails for a little walk. During the summer time the wading pool offers a lot of fun to kids too.

Nice park to bring the kids to. Also a nice park for a quick trip

  • 4/5 Michael F. 3 years ago on Google
Lots of shade, good open space and not that busy. I like the variety in play structures, and my only complaint is that the structure is too small. Other great options such as baseball diamond and small outdoor hockey ring and basketball. Very good option for the family, conducive to physical activities.

Nice park close to home. Has ballfield, basketball hoops, lacross box, kids play area, washrooms, small parking lot, tennis courts around the corner, and a couple trails you can take that lead down to the creek.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ First time visited this Temple. Great location, anyone outside of BC can find it easily. There is a Hindu temple next to it. You can visit two temples in one time. Hare Krishna temple lot is big. Shree Gourango Mohaprovu always dancing at the back yard, standing tall! Such a beautiful Gourango Mohap...
