Super nice employees!!!! The EV charger works (when we were here 4/12). They are pet friendly, but the LACK of trash cans and green spaces are a definite negative. The breakfast is good! The women who run it make it very efficient. Good price! Clean rooms! Need more plug ins for phones.

Flight delays made us super late for check-in but the front desk lady and her assistant were super sweet even calling security to help us get our many bags to our rooms. The room was exactly as it appears in pics and was very clean. My only complaint is that the coffee machine is wired to the lights so I had to have them on to make coffee this morning but the hubby must be exhausted because he was able to sleep through it every time I turned it on. You can feel very comfortable choosing this hotel. I’d review breakfast but we won’t be heading down for a bit yet. Good job Best Western Plus Burnaby! Great hospitality!

When I stayed there was a power outage all night. That's not their fault, however there was absolutely no emergency lighting available within or outside the hotel room. It was so dark I could not see a foot in front of me. Since the heating was electrical I froze all night and got no sleep at all. My only light source for 6+ hours was my near-dead cell flashlight. Definitely could have felt safer with some simple modifications (that in my opinion should be bare-minumum already). I recommend the hotel put in emergency lighting (especially outside the premises) and have a service number available for off hours. On an even colder night that could have been much more dangerous.

Pretty nice hotel that's close to a lot of restaurants and outdoor activities like Lynn Canyon. The rooms are clean and offer standard amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave. There's also complimentary EV charging available. The complimentary breakfast also added good value for our stay.

Very nice clean rooms and attentive employees. Free breakfast was excellent. I like how they ask if they can do anything to improve my stay. Really seem to care.

Decent hotel, clean and in a good location. Its close to a big mall, and a lot of restaurants and stores. We booked 4 rooms, the check-in/checkout was efficient, the rooms were more like a motel...dated curtains and furnishings, but clean and offered standard amenities such as a refrigerator and microwave (1 room didn't have a fridge). I noticed EV charging available. The heated outdoor pool and complimentary breakfast added good value for our family stay.

Most amazing, kind and helpful staff. Me and my wife ran into a problem with our booking (all problems on our part) and the hotel management was incredibly helpful and forgiving for our mistakes. The hotel itself is very clean, the rooms are spacious and the amenities are great too, the gym, the swimming pool and lots of parking I’d you’re driving. Also the rates are much better than what’s available nearby, definitely recommended if you’re in the area.

The bed linens were new and very nice but the mattresses were very, very old and soft. They should be thrown out and replaced. The room smelled like stale cigarette smoke which I think was from the very, very old carpet which also should be thrown out. You couldn't open the window. The only thing updated in the room were the tv, a few pictures and the bed linens. Even the toilet was one of the old, tiny, short ones. The sink area counter was also extremely low. A motel not a hotel.

Never ever stay in this hotel because their maids stole our stuffs. They took the majority of my valuables, including my gold jewellery while we stayed in BEST WESTERN PLUS, kingsway, BC from December 30’21 to 1st jan’22. We informed the front desk immediately when we reached room, who advised us to file a complaint with the RCMP. The manager and supervisor, Rositta and Sherin, acknowledged that it was their error and that they would give us a complimentary stay for the two days we were there, and that we should come back on Monday, January 3, 2022. We went to see them, and they stated they couldn't do anything about the items we'd lost, and they wouldn't refund our entire stay. The lady was haughty and unresponsive, as well as insulting. As a customer, we had now lost our possessions as well as our money for the stay, and we were really frustrated. It is not always about the money but the way we were mistreated and she did said that “SHE VALUE ONLY HER MAID”. Doesn't this sound arrogant?

Booked this hotel when vacationing in Vancouver because it was 30-40% cheaper than staying in a hotel in Downtown Vancouver. For the price point I was pretty happy with the quality of the rooms. It was clean and the bathrooms seemed pretty new. The beds weren't the highest quality but I'm fine with it considering the price. I didn't eat the breakfast but took a look at the spread and there was a good variety of hot options such as eggs, breakfast sausage and potato. I definitely would recommend tgis hotel if you want to save some $$ without sacrificing too much in quality/location. The surrounding area also seemed safe.

It was a nice, inexpensive stay in B.C. The television remote was the longest I've held and hard to work with. That's what she said. The breakfast offered was truly continental. I left my laptop charger in the room. I had to plug it in behind the couch because there was no accessible outlet by my side of the bed. -1 star.

Came here for vacation. Front desk staff and breakfast room staff were great. Standard continental breakfast items. Rooms are large and clean. Beds are comfortable. Free parking on site. About 25 mins drive to downtown. Walking distance to Metropolis mall. Many food options around the hotel. Only thing missing is a microwave in the room.

This place is great. The night staff were so kind, they let us check in at around 2 am or so and told us we could check out at 1 pm instead of 11 am. They also gave us bags of snacks, granola bars, yogurt and bottles of water. This place also has vouchers for free breakfasts. Not just cereal, but hot food like eggs, hashbrowns, pancakes etc.

This hotel said it was a hotel when it is a motel. I came here for only two days and the rooms have a old person smell. Some drunk guy is throwing up beside me on my fist night. The tv looks like it has a camera in it which made me feel uncomfortable. The roof is worn down. The beds are hard and uncomfortable.

Hotel was decent. The rooms were as expected. They were clean and included the normal amenities. The complimentary breakfast was very good and well supplied. More than enough options and food for us.

This was my first stay in Vancouver, and choosing Best Western Burnaby hotel on Kingsway was the best choice i have made for this trip. I have booked a 2 Queen bed room, the quality of bedding and furniture is excellent, the hotel location and setup is great, last but definitely not least (actually the most) is the quality of service and the friendless of the staffs: being taken care of by Aruna at the front desk, everything went great with such a kind and welcoming professional. I need to mention the amazing breakfast with a generous buffet and diverse offering led by Eva and the team in a very cosy Breakfast room near the reception lobby. Finally, I will not only make my next bookings at this property, but also recommend it to all those visiting Vancouver and burnaby in the future. A little pricey for quality of rooms (they were fine, but furnishings were a little outdated) but I expected that when traveling on a long weekend during the peak season. Still cheaper to stay here and drive into Van than to get a hotel downtown there though. Best breakfast I've ever had at a hotel. Food was hot and served buffet style with frequent refills and staff milling about, versus the usual counter with some fruit and cereal left out for guests. Staff were all very friendly and proximity to Metropolis mall was great. Will be coming back for any future lower mainland trips!

I I can give this hotel a zero, I would. When I flipped the bedding in one of the bed I found a hair. I am not even sure if they change the linen prior to checking in. When I used the coffee maker the next day, I found plastic inside the water chamber. This is by far the worst Best Western we ever stayed at. Do not stay on this location!!!

Best place to stay. Dinesh at reception is a very nice guy and entire team is great. It’s the same breakfast daily . Jus be prepared on that 😉. Great location and close to wholesale club which has most of the Indian groceries . Metrotown is a 10 min walk.

This is a motel not a hotel not as advertised through the booking site. This motel is a clean (but very worn) version of every motel you see in movies. The staff is nice and friendly and the rooms are clean for their age but it still gives you the ick vibe. I wasnt expecting to walk into my hotel room abd find a full kitchen nor did I expect that the doors would open into an outside walkway. The area is nice and central BUT this is not a "good area" so not having an enclosed hallway is not great. I got the impression that some of the guests are using this motel as their long term home. The pool was closed not that I was going to use it but still its advertised having a pool. The room rate per night is quite high for what it is. I guess if you wanted a kitchen and a big room (and dont mind that its run down) its a good option but thats not what I wanted when I booked a hotel Old and run down but overall clean. Doors open to outside. Bed was very worn. Towels were like sandpaper.

Well me n my family were coming to Vancouver for a visit and we were going to stay at best western plus as we are a member n they usually are amazing but unfortunately we have been told we can not get rooms due to they don't take visa debt or the most well know next wave titanium Mastercard as we have always used them on everyone we have been to but they weren't very nice n refused us n we are members. So we would like to know why not at this one? Meanwhile we have had no problems ever thanks

This is a MOTEL not a Hotel. It’s completely misrepresented online. The pool was closed, it’s old and run down, you enter from the outside and breakfast is in a run down Asian restaurant. I can’t believe it has good reviews. After leaving a fantastic Best Western Hotel in Poco it was so disappointing to come to this one. It felt unsafe and the street noise was quite loud. The only good thing I have to say is the room was clean and the bed was comfy.

They provided breakfast, which was pretty okay. But all units and restaurants are not connected. Some front staff members were a bit rude and not nice. But so far, I enjoyed this hotel stay

Safe and mostly clean. Housekeeping was spotty during our 3 week stay. They missed a couple days and we had to call when we ran out of toilet paper. Free breakfast was overpriced even in light of covid precautions.

Great location for a quick stay. We stayed here for a night as we're traveling with pets. The beds were incredibly stiff spring mattresses, that's my only complaint. The staff here are incredible and go above the call of service. We needed help with some things and they were on it. We needed a cab ordered for people flying out, no problem, it was done. They ensured we were taken care of. Breakfast starts at 630 am and has a healthy assortment of items to choose. Stack yourself up with a ton of food for the day. The location is great too, not only for local access but for the great local food.

Excellent customer service.tender to All your need feels like being around your family. They generally care about your well-being they also no matter what the circumstances. Will not judge any. And everyone is treated with equality. And I haven't seen a lot of this in the past couple of years in and around the province and are exceptionally clean and sanitized

Very affordable options for the location in Burnaby, hard to find something cheaper. Motel which we appreciated, lots of parking and pet friendly. Not very updated and a bit dusty but served our purpose. Breakfast is offered but the available breakfast sandwiches are microwaved and end up cold in the middle, may want to make alternative breakfast arrangements in light of COVID (why I'm assuming they're doing breakfast this way). There is an Asian restaurant on site but we didn't try it.

The manager at the Best Western Burnaby was extremely pleasant. She went above and beyond to make sure I have breakfast delivered to my room prior to normal breakfast times since I was fasting that day. Really appreciate the gesture.

Great location and even better front desk staff. They are warm, friendly and very welcoming. The rooms are clean, up to date and well maintained. Parking is really convenient because most rooms have parking very close. I have stayed here before and I will definitely stay again. Thank you!

The staff in the hotel is amazing! Me and my husband came in the middle of the night and had some issues that couldn’t figure out, but the staff on the front desk helped us out a lot! Feeling lucky to get to this particular hotel and would definitely recommend it to anyone! It’s clean, it’s beautiful, but the most important thing is that people who work there are amazing. 10/10!!!

Having a lots of parking place. Service is so good. The front desk found out we can’t find the room in the midnight, he lead us to the elevator and watching us walking until find the rooms. Love the way the washroom set up style, even can cook in the room.

My experience in all the Best Western hotels in my recent visit to The Canadian Rockies was excellent. Rooms, services, breakfast choices. I would always look for Best Western hotels where ever I travel. Keep up the great services.

We had an amazing stay at the hotel, the staff were very welcoming and courteous. The rooms were very clean and spacious. The breakfast was perfect. The Metropolis mall was just a 10 minute walk and to commute to other places the skytrain is very nearby. Thank you for the amazing stay 😊.

Stayed here for 4 days on a business trip, comes with complimentary breakfast which was good, cheaper rate. Rooms are clean but the beds are not very comfortable. Towels are in need of an upgrade, feels like 36 grit sandpaper. Appart from that it was a great stay.

This best western is ok. Nothing special. As I was travelling on my own for work it was in a good central location for the two deatinations I had to visit. It's on a busy road and the exit to the road is not the smoothest, as on the left side there is a large bush that could he trimmed, as it is an obstruction. In the room the bathroom is dated and worn. It could certainly do with a refresh and brightening up. The beds I personally found comfortable. Over all ok.
