First time to visit the store today. Finding the store was challenging, but once you arrive you will be welcomed by the owner Rob. Great selection of Hard Rock, Metal and Old school punk! Prices are fair. Cash and EMT only. I hope this store lasts more years to come, the owner must have just been doing this for his passion for music and the record collection as his price was low compared to other stores. So please if you just started getting into records, Support small businesses like this so they can stay alive!

Music MadHouse is a hidden paradise for record collectors in the greater Vancouver area. Although the shop is on the smaller side, Rob has filled it with some very nice high quality inventory including many fantastic gems. Additionally, he was super kind in helping me do an appraisal of my collection recently so that I could get it insured. The GVA is very lucky to have this wonderful locally owned record store treasure that is Music MadHouse, whether you live here or are just passing through do not miss your opportunity to pay it a visit. I fully guarantee you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Rob!

This record store is truly a hidden gem within the lower mainland. You will have the fantastic pleasure of walking through a maze of corridors to discover the treasures tucked away beneath an apartment complex in Burnaby. The owner Rob is as kick back and cool as they come. I was able to easily find many unique records here. I will definitely make this a regular stop when visiting Vancouver.

A hidden gem of the lower mainland vinyl community. I've found so many cool, original, first pressings here, it's ridiculous. Rob, the owner, is awesome, super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

A great selection of records and decent prices. Always worth checking out. If you’re selling your collection be sure to come with some heavy metal albums.

The store owner is very friendly and the prices are cheap! Lots of vinyls are $10-15.

Randomly started my record collection last week at a used bookstore. Since then, I’ve been looking for used record stores. Came across Rob and his shop, and after reading the great reviews I visited today. Didn’t leave disappointed! He was so welcoming, let me browse without concern and answered my newbie questions and carried a great conversation. Great service, great selection, great condition, great service, and good prices. Added five records to my collection and I’ll definitely be back!

If you are the sort of person that likes people, urban exploration, the 1970s, and records, you should check out Music Madhouse. Rob, the owner, is just the nicest guy. There is a good selection of vinyl, and the prices are very good. There is no record store from Vancouver to Portland that is harder to find. Discovering the highly delightful and unusual location is part of the joyful journey. Rob's shop sparkles with groovy vibes!

A little gem of a shop! It was hard to find, but this place was definitely worth visiting. A good collection of quality records. There were mostly 70s 80s 90s rock and some pop albums, but what I was most impressed with was the abundance of original pressings at very reasonable prices. The condition of the records was excellent. I don't think I saw a single beat up album.

Not actually a store, their posted hours are noon to 3pm 4 days a week, but they're not even there. Edit: Absolutely fair review, we showed up during your extremely limited business hours and you were closed. There's a sign up advertising private hours but this is not a publicly open business.

Best record store for metal/rock in the Fraser valley/lower mainland by a country mile. I’m sure the owner, Rob, has a fantastic collection of gems from other genres, but I only collect metal and rock so that’s all I looked at. Extremely fair prices and absolutely amazing selection of stuff. There’s stuff in here you won’t find anywhere else locally. 11/10 I will be back!

Visited the shop for the first time today! Rob, the proprietor, is super nice and tremendously helpful! He gave me two stickers for free! :) A wide array of classic rock and punk records. The store is such a hidden gem and I will certainly be back!

If your looking for albums you can't seem to find anywhere else...this is the place to look. Bins full of original records, not your typical sealed re-issues you see everywhere else. It's a gem for record enthusiast/collectors.

I love the eccentricity of the shop, but the selection and condition of the records is even better. If you're not willing to go on a bit of an adventure to find some good records maybe stick to Amazon and keep supporting Bezos. Rob rules!

Most record shops–used or new albums–are usually a mixed bag of whatever inventory can be jammed into the bins or stocked with a minimal selection of overpriced classics. Music Madhouse's owner Rob doesn't roll that way. He curates what he puts in the bins and prices them fairly. Even the rare ones. I've been collecting albums since the early 70s and honestly I have rarely been to a shop that I could buy literally any album in the store. Rob knows his stuff, he loves music and he gets what collecting is all about. Sharing the wealth. He could easily charge ten times what he does but that isn't his attitude. Had a great time in his store, walked out with the start of many more albums to come, going back soon and if you are at all serious about records then this is the shop for you. Rob also supports local music. La Chinga rocks. As does Rob and Music Madhouse.

A good selection in an out of way location (but near enough to a Skytrain!) I could have chosen a lot more records, but I'll save some for next time.

😠 Specific complaint: Don't put a food truck *behind* the merch tent where you can't see the stage!!! We stood in line for TWO HOURS and missed the entire Vance Joy concert. If we had been LITERALLY at any other truck, we would've been able to see the stage from the line. (lesson learned) Another comp...
