This is a naturally idyllic forest space for families, kids and dogs HOWEVER there are sometimes toxic smelling fumes from the Swiss Water plant or natural gas fumes from the nearby storage tanks. The Kinder Morgan pipeline is currently being laid directly adjacent to the park and neighbouring homes, which is fairly concerning. When there is an earthquake/fire, the fumes could cause irreparable damage to everyone in the vicinity, and destruction of the ecosystems. I still love this park, and I wish it were protected.
