the food is horrendous. the tuna salad tastes gross and the pasta salad made me have diarrhoea and I wanted to puke. I’m never buying anything from here again. I gave it a second chance and now I regret it. Even the snacks are horrible - I got a vegi, cheese, cracker snack. The vegetables and cheese were dry as hell and the crackers were so moist from the condensation that it was soggy. Really disappointed

Renaissance is a much welcomed addition to sfu campus. I quite like this place. Their food is tasty, and authentic. The chana masala tastes like my moms (and that’s a big compliment from me). Additionally they’ve got a pretty wide section of food and drink so there’s a lot to choose from. I docked a star cause they can take forever to prepare your order, and some of the items are overpriced. But overall it’s a small business worth supporting.

Cheap place for Bagel and cream cheese at $2.75 and coffee for $2.5! There are wide selection of coffee from light roast to dark. There are also four types of Bagel, plain, grain, cheese and sesame. My favourite place to do breakfast.

Has a nice breakfast and lunch menu. Expect a que during lunch as space is limited.

Very polite staff and uncle ji. The food’s one of the best at Burnaby campus.

The pasta salad gave me a stomachache but the baked goods are pretty good!! Some things are overpriced though:(

The bagel breakfast sandwiches are great value, cookies are great, and coffee is pretty good.

first, when I came to order lady was very visibly tired and over it. I ordered a turkey bacon avo wrap and was trying not to gag the whole time eating it. IT WAS STONE COLD so I bit into chunks of bacon fat surrounded by lettuce and questionable, wet turkey cold cut and all that wrapped up with a dry floury tortilla. I wanted to love it here because of the whole family-run aspect and convenient location but there is nothing more disappointing than spending way to much money on food that's hard to keep down. The whole experience was $10+.

I love spending my time here, early in the morning, or in the evening. I can sit here for a loooooong time and think about all in my head 😊 I really love this Café 😇🥰

The portion for the butter chicken with rice is inadequate. Rice and chicken combined barely crosses the halfway mark of the container. The staff might be friendly but that doesn't make up for serving me less than half a meal.

been patronizing Renaissance Coffee since Parminder and family ran a small cart/kiosk at SFU's 3floor AQ area. They are fabulous group. I am addicted to their samosas so i may be biased...

Make the journey to a different café, this one always has terrible inconsistent food and drinks. Muffins are made “fresh daily” but extremely dry. Fruit was dry as well, and bagel was so overloaded with cream cheese it was messy and hard to eat. Prices are way too high for what you get. Staff can be friendly but rude if you voice concern. Would recommend against.

Food is good, staff is friendly, however, portions differ based on who is serving. I usually get butter chicken rice and every time the portions are different. Some staff are more generous than others. I would like to see more standard and consistent servings.

I always get the butter chicken with naan. The naan changed during the pandemic and is now a much better texture, (used to be more like a pita). Butter chicken sauce tastes good, chicken isn't the best but there isn't too much of it anyway.

Got a latte frappe from here. The owner and staff seem very hard working. Definitely put in the effort. Great place!
