A doctor there made a racist comment when I called her on it. She called security. Sick and sad. Native people are human. We deserve better treatment

Just visiting a friend, seemed adequate but a bit run down. My friend was in a shared room with 3 other people., For contrast I think VGH shared is 2 people..

Hourly: $4.25 per hr This is how much Impark wants to charge you to see sick family and friends.

Very comforting place in matters of Medicare or care issues on health; hospital staff very committed to their trade as caregivers. Easy access too for me.

The staff, nurses, and Dr's were amazing. Even while dealing with major construction and extreme overcrowding, they stepped up and did their jobs well. Everyone was very kind. Spent a week there while my father was in the hospital. In a week, you see a lot. I saw a staff that truly cares about people. If you have to eat there strongly suggest your bring salt and pepper. Since of the did was good and some needed some help. That was my dad's opinion.

Very expansive public/patient parking. If you are a lucky winner of day, you may find 2 hours of free parking around just one street parallel to the hospital, which is mostly illegally occupied by neighborhood visitors. The hospital (resident) crew is genuinely very nice and helpful to guid you, maneuver around (of this maze). Doctors and associates are the same as other hospitals (unnecessarily rude & loud. They like to take inquiry as personal attack) Otherwise, it's clean & the only one hospital in Burnaby.

My mother started at Royal Columbian Hospital. Open heart surgery. Moved to BBY Gen where she did her recovery and was slowly taking off the breathing machine. It's kinda funny how some kids that are under 12 fooled the nurse in RCH so they see what happened to Gramma. They what looked seen her on life support. At BBY Gen well they got fooled this time. As they new that they had to call and they grabbed a very good understanding of what happened. Yet they not allowed to see her for there be others that are ready to see kids while they recover. Yet I believe that my mom could of had some time with them rug rats .As I think they would of been a little help to lift the spirits of the patient in which help staff .. As there is nothing like having miserable patients. So my friends the ladies and gentlemen are doing all they can under the stress of being short handed working overtime. Say you did your time at one hospital and my 3 days off I worked at another I don't get overtime to let you know. Some be working 7 days a week to keep us the patient as comfortable as possible .So give them a break . We banged pots pans for the first responders we should do it for them . A way to thank the first yet are Drs are nurses a big thank you . To give the ones burning out a helping hand. As they be happy not burning out because. Yet have a smile and happy appreciate for what they do. Look nurses could go make a better $ than what we can offer we be out by 10 to 20 even 30 40 $ more than any Provinces Territorial Gov can really afford. Even with the Fed Govt help . . Health Care . A Right not a privilege A Right that we should always protect and even if we have to protest. I encourage our youth are adolescent adults to take up job in healthcare look it might not be your best choice. Yet if you can give a yr or two. It all helps. As we watched our Canada grow and grow. So I hope you like the story. Yet that be a while ago I don't know now. Yet thank them for all that they do. Peace

😐 Parking here can be limited. There are lots of trails in residential areas that connect to the main Deer Lake loop trail. Try street parking near Royal Oakland Park. Free street parking - up to 3 hours allowed, more than enough time to walk the whole park.
