Great prices on almost every item in store. They beat Amazon prices for pet supplies and pet foods. The prices for fish have increased but that is understandable due to the pandemic and supply shipments everywhere. If they don't have a product you are specifically looking for they can special order it for you. Overall, they carry the widest range of pet foods and supplies most other pet stores can't get or don't carry. If you are looking for an item or items and can't find it at your local or nearest pet store, head over to King Ed's Pet and you'll most likely find it there at a decent and fair price. I wasn't able to locate frozen jumbo bloodworms at any pet stores but load and behold King Ed Pets have them. Two thumbs up 👍👍 Thanks Ron, Kathy, Jun and the rest of the staff. I have bought all my fish at King Ed Pets for the last 30 years and the ones that I have now are approximately 6 inches long or larger.

Went to buy some fish there last week, The staff in the fish area was just plain arrogant, almost made you feel bad. At one point he asked "cant you read?" My young daughter felt uncomfortable and just wanted to leave. Not ever going there again. However I must give credit where it is due and say that the lady at the front counter was wonderful, pleasant and polite

The owner of this shop was very friendly, I remember when the first time arrived in Vancouver I dream to have a nice aquarium and to get my favorite fish, King Ed give me a chance to enjoy my hobbies. Thank you for being kind to your customer.

King Ed is one of my favorite pet shops. Great selection of supplies, reasonable prices. A little bit of a drive for me and short hours or I'd shop there more often.

I went here with high hopes since it got recommended to me. When I arrived, the upstairs area was very condensed with not much space to walk around. There was no customer service to be seen. Nobody talked to me or asked if I needed help. Downstairs was even worse. There were a lot of fish tanks that were badly cared for with lots of dead and sick fish. I had to wait for like 15 mins for the staff member to be done with other customers. When I got my fish, he tried to give me a sick one at first so I told him to give me a healthy looking one, he did but looked annoyed. I will not be going back there. I'm surprised it's still open to be honest.

The people there are super nice! They helped me get some last stuff for my ferret and their prices for ferrets are much cheaper then other places! Skipper is happy with his new home :)

Great deals to be had once Boxing Day comes around. Heck they even extend it for a week more if you can’t make it in. Had a great experience today. Gentleman working the salt water section was very welcoming and helpful. Offered advice and had a conversation about the hobby. Will definitely be back soon. Owners upstairs were great too.

Here are the most responsible owners. Also the price here is the best. I am very grateful to the old gentleman who took the trouble to help me test the water quality of my tank. He is very professional and nice！ I highly recommend people to come to this store.

This place is the best known pet shop. The owners are very friendly and professional. Ever since COVID, things have gone up in price, King Ed pet centre can still offer products at a reasonably lower price. Strongly recommended.

My go to place for aquarium decorations! They have an amazing stock of various rocks and wood for good prices. I'm very picky with what I put in my tank and I can never find the right sizes or shapes in other stores but I always have a blast looking through their huge piles for the perfect ones for my tank. The Korean lady at the front is so friendly and never fails to ensure we have a positive experience there!

This is a multi generation family owned store. They have supplies for many pets. We shop there for our dog, cat, and gerbil supplies. We also buy a lot of aquarium supplies and fish as well. They carry good quality livestock and plants and have a ton of selection and inventory. Their everyday prices rival big box stores. I posted a couple of pics for reference. Knowledgeable friendly staff and very welcoming. I've been coming here for over 20 years and plan to continue. They offer supplies from basic to elite and advice without issue. Great one shop pet shop!

Overcrowded, wild caught imported fish ( which is illegal! ), multiple tanks that had dead fish in them... some tanks had water so dirty it was yellow, and the place was a complete mess. (not to mentioned the smell...) When asking the staff member down there if he had any catfish, he rudely demanded to know why I wanted one. I simply explained that I only had one currently who was used to having a companion. (our other one passed away unexpectedly, but the rest of the tank is healthy) He made fun of me and told me that catfish don't care, that they're stupid and can't get lonely. He then said the only one they had in stock was $24.99 and that I probably couldn't afford it. (I used to go here semi-regularly back in the 2000s and it was wonderful) Won't be coming back here, and I hope they get closed down. Don't give them any business. This place is a dump!

The staff is friendly and helpful. Leah who takes care of the birds and ferrets knows what she's doing. I bought a ferret through her. We do most our shopping there even though we're from Richmond. Worth the drive

Always a great place to stop by. They have anything you could want in regards to aquariums. The fish manager downstairs not overly talkative but hard worker.. I got exactly what I needed and usually never leave empty handed. Prices seems fair and has some really nice tanks, worth a stop!

Great family run business . So many cute birds and fish. They have a whole downstairs level for all of their aquatic life, it's huge and so cool! Prices are great and quality is superb! Our go to place. Check it ouuuuuut

When I walked in it was very stinky. It was like crazy hot too so the smell was even worse. I think they could have been much cooler, just being honest. The old lady working there was kinda aggressive so I think she could have been much more gentle, just being honest. They also recommended things my pet doesn't eat so I think they could be much more honest, just being honest. I got some bird Food the customer service was great & it seems they carry good quality products & Food.

They are temporarily closed for remodeling from Oct 2 to Nov 1. The only place they sell live cat grass out in front if you don't want to grow from seeds. We come here from Surrey.

Excellent customer service. Kathy is very helpful and has helped me with some discounts because of everything I get there. All the animals are happy and healthy and the selection is amazing as well as the great prices! Leaa is very helpful knowledgeable and caring. Awesome place and I go out of my way to shop there! I LOVE the ferrets!!! Lol 🐾🦦

Good selection! They have hundreds of fish.. so many incredible species its like a small Zoo. The big brain fish is cool. Ask questions as the owners don't really offer much advice unless asked..because it so varied.From fish to fish. Watch out for ick. But this is a easily cured ailment and i bought some scissor fish with white tip noses. Theres everything for cleaning to maintenance of all kinds. Think fish r us. Cheers

Not quite the place it used to be but still worth checking out. The older Asian fellow has some amazing tips and tricks for keeping fish if you ask him. They carry a lot of products that are difficult to find elsewhere.

A paradise for tropical fish lovers. Huge selection of tropical fishes ( biggest in bc ) , and the fishes are very low priced and healthy. The tropical fish related products are a lot and very cheap too.

Their live fish prices are probably the most expensive in the whole lower mainland. I can find the exact fish (similar size) for around 40%+ cheaper else where. There's literally zero customer service in the fish department in this place. The staff just walk by me without saying a word. Why anybody shop here for fish is beyond my understand, since there's zero customer service and the price are high. For super common fish like angels and pattys, their prices are like 3x compared to petsmart. Show you an example: King Ed 'Red Spotted Severum" $69.99 (picture attached) Another store selling them for $39.99 (picture attached)

My wife and me went to the store yesterday to get some fish and fish food. The Boxing week sales were great! The store has so many aquarium supplies. It is one of the best pet stores in the Greater Vancouver area.

The owner and Leaa are both friendly and warm-hearted,they helped me a lot,we got a cute love bird,he is really needy and clever,fabulous pet shop.Especially our kid can hold the guinea pig .ferrets and bird,they are all very cute and friendly,definitely because the shop is full of love~
