I would never trust the doctors here. They missed my mom's cancer diagnosis and she knew there was something wrong but by then it already metasisized and is not treatable now. If they caught it the first time she would be cancer free. I had a phone appointment yesterday since they would not let me come in to the clinic and they never called!! Tried calling them and they never answered! If I could give zero stars I would.

I am writing this review on behalf of my friend, because she is not well right now. I was with her while she was on the phone with Old Orchard Medical today in December 2end. I was so shocked by the level of unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, rudeness, and extreme lack of communication skills from a Medical Clinic that their clients are ppl who are in pain and suffering somehow. People seek medical help because they are in distress and the medical staff aren’t supposed to further aggravate and abuse the patients. My friend was told by her family doctor that her form will be ready for pick up 3 weeks ago, when she called 3 weeks ago the staff very rudely and abruptly said they don’t know anything about that form. So, she made another appointment to talk directly to the doctor again. The doctor said that the form will be ready on Friday for pick up. She called again On Friday at least 5 times till they finally picked up the phone and the receptionist told her rudely that she had no idea about the form. My friend’s tone got upset naturally, she wasn’t rude she wasn’t screaming or impolite just very upset. The receptionist told my friend in a rude and dismissive tone to calm down, my friend responded I can’t calm down when I am upset. And I agree, that’s a dismissive term and policing someone’s tone when they are upset, instead of listening and rectifying the situation. The receptionist was commanding my friend that should calm down. Then the receptionist told my friend stop screaming and I was there, she wasn’t screaming, and told the receptionist I am not screaming, the receptionist said yes you are. At this point my friend started screaming and told her, now I am screaming and that’s what screaming is, I wasn't screaming then and you are lying. My friend asked to talk to the manager and the girls was telling the manager that my friend is rude and screaming, the manger came on the phone and immediately dismissed my friend’s concerns and blamed her and called her abusive, whereas it was the other way around they pushed her and pocked her till she finally broke down. Then they called her back and said the doctor sent you a message and you can listen to it, my friend said okay, but the receptionist said but you are rude to us and we don't let you listen to his message and the receptionist hung up. Now that is what I call abuse, uprofessionalism and trying to destroy patients. My friend has been seeing this doctor for 11 years, they are aware that she is going through extremely rough time, yet they pushed her to the point of melt down. I am with her right now because I am worried about her health going down because of what she had to deal with today with the so-called medical staff. I will try to persuade her to file a compliant about this office.

I got an phone appointment for my mom last week for today at 10:30 am. I got a call back at 3:18 pm. When I mentioned this doctor told me that he just got my mother’s papers now. It is walk-in clinic but they choose to treat their patients over the phone. Government eased most of the restrictions compared to beginning of the pandemic and they are still closed for walk-in. We can eat in the restaurants, we can go to hospital, but we can’t go to walk-in clinic. This is unacceptable.

Overall speaking this is a great clinic if you need to see a doctor. Pros: Friendly receptionists. They try to make it work for you if possible. During covid, they do have some in person schedules and i think they try to schedule one for you if you really need to. The doctors are all pretty nice and try to help you out. Cons: Usually you end up waiting for a long time whether you are schedule for a phone call or in person. One of the. doctors (I forget his name, the British man) is kind of snappy but I think he means well. Sometimes they will forget to fax your prescription to the pharmacy so you have to make sure you call the pharmacy ahead of time and see if they actually got it.

Love this clinic, doctors and the whole medical team became part of our family. From our oldest generation down to the youngest has been seen by the doctors of this clinic. And overall, our experiences has always been positive. There are some wait times yes, but thats normal for every clinic. trust me, Some clinics have even longer wait times. And wanted to appreciate too the hard work of the doctors, MOA’s and Manager of this clinic. Thank you 🙏🏼

I have been seeing Dr Frame of Old Orchard clinic for over 20 years. Dr Frame is great in handling my concerns big and small. Dr Frame is not a five minute doctor who spends minimal time with his patients, he is generious with his time explaining and discussing remedies with me so I feel I am part of the team. Because of his thoroughness there is a wait list for appointment and in clinic visit usually needs wait time. But it is worth the wait. Because of the wait time and my immediate needs, I have visited other doctors in the same clinic, like Doctor Ticea and others, and they are equally nice and cordial in dealing with me, whether it is phone in, video calls and walk in visits. Phone ins can usually be booked same or next day, resolving my immediate needs. Mindy and other support staff of the reception team are kind, warm and understanding. They make me feel welcome and not just like a patient being processed. I would recommend anyone who seeks good medical care to visit the Old Orchard Clinc.

I was worried about my poor English before I visited here. But Dr. Xiao Yuan who I met explaned all her words through a translation. I was so grateful. Her skills and explanations were also the best. The waiting time was less than 20 minutes. Everyone who worked there, including the doctor, was kind. If I get hurt next time, I will definitely visit here again.

I think context is important here. People come to the doctors when they feel their worst so I think people may tend to just be negative when they speak of all medical clinics. I have yet to see a highly rated medical centre. I think it’s great that this is a walk in clinic while having family doctors. I’ve been a patient of Dr. Frame for over 20+ years. I am personally affected and sad that he’s retiring because he is such an amazing doctor who has always been a bright spot for me during my ailments. But as for his choice to retire I mean that’s definitely his choice and happy for him. I’ve been seeing another doctor there and he has been nothing short of amazing and caring. Also I believe the office staff get blamed unfairly just because I’ve witnessed them being blamed for people missing appointments or arriving late and demanding to see doctors. I’ve always seen them treat me really well and the odd chance something didn’t line up, there was a reason that was outside of either of our control. So I am thankful for this place.

Having reached my 70's, my body seems to be breaking down! One complication after another, some serious - some more trivial. At a time when everyone seems so dissatisfied with our healthcare system I have experienced nothing but professionalism, empathy and positive caring. Old Orchard Medical Clinic has been the basis of this. I adore Dr. Ticea - she goes above and beyond to help me. And the medical support team is exemplary. I can't say how much I appreciate the kindness and efficiency of all of you.

I have seen Dr. Ticea several times as well as Dr. Bryant and was impressed by their level of care and concern for the patient. The receptionists also deserve some praise as well, as they have been courteous, clear, and very organized with everything. Understandably, most of their appointments are via telephone unless in-person examination is required, as COVID is still an issue in the province. In fact, Dr. Bryant was happy to write me a doctor's note explaining my absence from a final exam due to COVID after a phone appointment I had with him. I will return to Old Orchard if I am in need of medical care and recommend others to do so as well.

LAST RESORT CLINIC! Usually I’m writing good reviews but not being able to get antibiotics while sick is no fun. Reasons listed below … 1) communication with front office is bad 2) Said they faxed over my prescription had me wait 6 hours to get nothing 3) Call them next day to get right prescription faxed over , said they did ——Call me back to say that pharmacy they faxed over for prescription didn’t carry dosage what they requested 4) Front office couldn’t get a hold of new doctor that prescribed wrong prescription even though called at 10:30am and they closed at 2pm 5) Doctor told me to get swab done at shoppers pharmacy , went on 3rd trip to go get it and shoppers said didn’t do there , had to go in person to do it at clinic from doctor …

Worst clinic ever! Waited 1.5 years for a specialist appointment. Could not see anyone else. Receptionist are completely incompetent and rude, even hung on up on me. They do not know what is happening and reconcile with specialist offices. I had to go between both offices to see what is going on with my results. Would not recommend. Administrative staff are very rude and not knowledgeable.

Very bad doctor, very irresponsible. never go again. I hope everyone chooses a good doctor instead of going to this one.

This is the best clinic. Dr G Frame has been my GP for over 25 yrs. As some people have said yes the waits can be long but I find it's worth it. Dr Frame has always shown great care in keeping up with patients. When my daughter was a teenager he was at Burnaby general and seen my daughters name on the board and rushed to find out what was wrong and immediately sent her to Children's. But ripped a strip off the hospital staff first. I could go on and on about all the great things Dr Frame has done for me. I have had to see other doctors here when I can't see doctor Frame. I find Dr Einchorst just as helpful. Dr Ticea is also very helpful.

Had phone appointment for injury, doctor phoned 2 mins early with blocked number and ring once hung up left voice mail to reschedule. Phoned clinic at the appointment time let them know to ask doctor to call again, clinic staff laughed said will try let doctor know but it’s not urgent or you’ll be going to hospital. It’s appropriate to laugh or joke at those situation. This is prob the worst healthcare staff or clinic. Insensitive. Also Socorro never phoned back.

Great clinic if you need to take the antigen test for COVID before flying. Within 30min you get your result and an email pdf receipt of the results. Very convenient!

I've tried calling at least 5-10 different days, multiple times, they never answer the phone anymore. They misdiagnosed someone I know who ended up having cancer. They also downplayed my symptoms and when I called the 811 line the nurse told me to seek urgent medical care as I was long overdue. Occasionally the doctors are friendly.

The lady named :"Mindy" at the office was very rude to me! I have been waiting for information for over two months . I had checked a couple of times for an update and was told as soon as they will receive it they will let me know! Several times!!! Today I called and found out that on May18th (which I still don't believe) they had new information and when I asked the MOA when they received this information she told me last week !!and then I said could you please email it to me! she was shocked ! After putting me on hold for about 3 minutes she said hello and started shouting at me aggressively blaming ME for seeing a different doctor which had nothing to do with them giving me an update!! about the information request !! She then said she doesn't have time to go back and fourth with me and she was shouting at me and telling me that I was yelling at her which is a lie !! She then said you need to follow up with the other doctor and I said Mindy instead of apologizing on behalf of the office for not following up you are trying to blame me! Also I told her I need to see the doctor that I have been seeing and she tried to refuse me that right. she continued to be rude booked my appointment rudely and hung up on me. After I do my follow up I hope not to deal with this clinic as they have a staff member who is very rude and made me feel horrible. If I could give less then 1 star I would!

My go to medical clinic! All of the staff here are friendly, kind and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are cared after. I started going to this clinic in 2016 and have NOT looked back since! I could not give out a HUGE enough shoutout to Cherlen, Dr.Ticea, and Mindy! I would not be here without all of you! Thank you so much for all that you do. Keep being the amazing human beings you are! 💕

This has been my regular clinic for some time now, the receptionists are helpful and i usually get help from Dr. Bryant who is well informed and sympathetic. I recommend this place!

Horrible communication and receptionists are rude. Receptionist stated she "had to go" when I was asking questions and trying to book in with a doctor. I was refused an appointment even though I had seen the doctor a week before. Very unprofessional, would not recommend coming here as they do not prioritize for patient care.

Dr. Yuan has been our family doctor recently, and I have been consistently visiting this clinic either for walk-ins (Previous) or by appointment for a very long period. Dr. Yuan is always patient and provides detailed explanations during each visit. While professionalism is crucial, Dr. Yuan's attitude of respecting and prioritizing patients makes us feel immensely cared for.

While Dr Frame and Dr Ticea are awesome the other Dr's leave a lot to be desired The front staff are definitely overworked and doing their best Dr Frame retirement has thrown a lot of long time patients out on the street as NONE of the Dr's in the clinic are taking on any of his patients nomatter how much you need a family doctor for continuing care. Absolutely disgusted with them The attitude of the male doctors that are left appears to me they don't really care and that attitude filters down to the staff Not even going mention the overcrowded and jammed waiting room

My mom and I have been seeing Dr. Eichhorst for years. He has been efficient and diligent, always listening to every one of our concerns and giving his best advice. I'm very grateful to have him as my family doctor :)

Since I have found a family doctor now (at a different office), I will give you all some tips! I've been coming here for years. The best doctor at this location is Dr. Bryant. He's kind and straight to the point. Very knowledgable and thorough. Dr. Ticea is okay if Dr. Bryant not available, but she can be rude at times if you're sensitive. Not sure about the rest. They have phone appointments which is so convenient, but sometimes it can take a week or so at times for the next available opening (with Dr. Bryant atvleast). You can only talk about 1 problem during an appointment, so book accordingly; they'll subtly let you know they're too busy if you try to talk about something else that could be a separate appointment. Now about the receptionists everyone is complaining about in these reviews: All of them except 1 are so kind and caring. They are so busy all the time but make an effort to let you know you are valued. They are so kind over the phone as well, one time, one of them urged me to book an appointment in the same call because of how busy this clinic is when I said I would do it later, I appreciated that. The one rude one I've talked to the on phone like twice is rude, but it is what it is. I've received good service here over the past couple of years I have needed to see a doctor, thank you Old Orchard Medical Clinic!

Excellent service and lovely staff. I entered this clinic by chance more than twenty years ago and I didn't even know how lucky I was. Old Orchard Medical Clinic is efficient and well run and cannot be compared with others. I always have the best experience and the way that the clinic has been managed during the pandemic has been brilliant. All doctors are highly knowledgeable, friendly and trustworthy. The entire staff is wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Frame, Dr. Eichhorst, and their other colleagues to anyone seeking a kind, compassionate, and brilliant doctor!
