    I would prefer giving no star. I went in with a work place injury, and was turned away as I had an Alberta health care number. They refused to examine the major bruising and swelling that was rapidly increasing unless I agreed to pay. The injury occurred within the hour. I have never in my life have a medical professional choose money over their practice. I offered all my work place information, and this was still not good enough for me to recieve medical attention. I really hope the doctors and staff learn compassion and develop and will to help patients. Oh to mention there was not another patient in the waiting room, or in the exam room, the doctor was hiding in their office. UPDATE: I FOUND ANOTHER CLINIC DOWN THE ROAD(Kwantlen Medical Clinic) ALL THEY HAD TO DO WAS SIMPLY MAKE A PHONE CALL TO VERIFY MY ALBERTA HEALTH CARE AND I AM IN TO SEE THE DOCTOR FOR MY WORK PLACE INJURY!

    I went to this clinic on Saturday I had a very swollen throat and trouble breathing the doctor didnā€™t seem too concerned about my health issues and gave me a swab and didnā€™t prescribe any medications he simply told me to take Advil which I had been doing with no better results hence why I came into the clinic. About 7 hours later I had to be rushed to Burnaby hospital as soon as I walked in they rushed me to the emergency room and gave me two IVs. I sat there for 6 hours and was prescribed t3s, antibiotics and a steroid. Now I can breathe and eat moderately better I thought that clinics were suppose to help the patient apposed to taking up space at the hospitals I think the doctor was at the end of his day and didnā€™t care about my health issues or my request for meds for my severe pain and swelling. I wish to file a complaint on my visit as my was a very serious matter involving my breathing.

    I would give negative stars if I could. I strongly recommend AGAINST anyone from seeing Dr Xinyang Huang. My experience with him made me wonder why he even became a doctor. He stood far away in the clinic room with his hands clasped tightly in front of him like he was protecting himself from me, as though I was some kind of biohazard. His body language and tone were immediately dismissive. Made no efforts to examine me but immediately started gaslight me by telling me that my symptoms couldnā€™t possibly be related to my injury and thereā€™s no way I could be experiencing what I was experiencing. Turns out I have a concussion - which he had dismissed despite now I have multiple confirmations from other doctors that I do. Dr Huang needs to take a strong look at why heā€™s in the medical profession. All the other reviews here are accurate. He does not care about you as a patient and will just try to rush you out the door as quickly as possible without trying to help you at all. I will be looking into filing a formal complaint about his lack of care to the BC doctors board and others who have had terrible experiences where his dismissive attitude should do considering filing complaints as well.

    I do not usually post or review anything, but my experience with Dr. Xinyang Huang was unpleasant and somewhat stressful. He does not seem to care about a patient, rude, and very cocky. I was in pain and walked away with no help at all. The whole appointment lasted for about 3 minutes maximum. He might be knowledgeable at what he does, but he does not seem to shine when it comes to communicating with people. Maybe it will take years for him to become more comfortable and patient with his patients, but I would advice other patients to avoid seeing him at all costs. Thanks to the front staff for accommodating tho.

    Clinic front office staff were great DR was absolutely awful! I came in with a finger infection in its early stages. DR refused to acknowledge it, and was extremely dismissive. I now have a late stage finger infection that is threatening complications as I didnā€™t start the antibiotics course early enough. Real shame when medical professionals prefer to make you feel like a nuisance instead of a patient.

    I was registered with Dr. X when I was landed in Vancouver in 2013. I believed he was a newbie to this field. I contributed my whole family for his practice for almost 8 years, helped him to grow. But he kicked me out because he failed to communicate with another family doctor, just wanted to impute his bad communication skills to his patient. I still remember he wrongly diagnosed me and led the development of worse situation of my diabetes. He even wanted to separate my family, kicking me out and keeping my wife and kids still in his practice. This tall guy should think about himself, are you really taking care of your patient or just want to be king of them?

    Today I had very very bad experience with the receptionist on Saturday Jan 21 . I called 3 times and she is put me on hold then saying she can't hear me and rudly hang up. This hapen with same girl in past saying she can't hear and hang up. This is really disrespectful and annoying.

    Very rude receptionist and they donā€™t help until you die. Itā€™s all in air for them. Been 3 weeks calling still no physician? Cannot book an appointment? Cannot come to office? Cannot reach doctor? What can we do here?

    Okay. First off. The website does say walk ins. They do not take walk ins. To do walk in. You need to call between 7:45-8 am. For same day they donā€™t allow booking in advance but from what I can tell they are always full Secondly. The Asian receptionist is super nice polite and patient. Now I read a lot of reviews where they all say otherwise. But I was sick. So. Whatever I came here anyways and the clinic is super small but the lady was nice. Suggested if Iā€™m coughing up blood, I need to go to ER not walk in clinics. I had hopped to skip waiting 3 hours at the hospital. This clinic also posts they donā€™t prescribe any of the typical meds. Like. Cough syrup. Sleeping pills. And a whole list of other things. Pretty standard stuff. Cough syrup. But yeah. If you need doc for a scrape or referral to somewhere they should be good for this. But if you need prescriptions. This clinic doesnā€™t look like they are willing to write any of the usual scripts.

    From the receptionist to the nurse to the doctor who attended me on Sunday, thank you very much. I called before 8:30 AM to schedule a walk-in appointment and thankfully got one a couple of hours later on the same day. Iā€™m just happy to have resolved the problem on a Sunday. Reached there a bit early but was taken in during my time of the appointment. Great staff who care for you and are willing to help you by sacrificing their weekend.

    I wouldn't even give this place one star. I've been on hold for 30 minutes. Tried multiple times a day, still didn't answer and with my throat sore as hell I waited for a call back but nothing came. Just a few years ago this place was okay now it turned into some kind of joke.

    Not even one star. I used to go before Covid time. Sometimes reception was rude but There were some good doctors here before. Now no. it is terrible. Don t know why it exist. They ask to register by phone. But it didn t respond.just repeat recording. Cannot book. Even you booked, it is only doctors phone call. And he will say on phone for diarrhea patient "take Covid test and drink a lot by yourself. Nothing I can do" those 5 star review? Really? Believe 1vstar review.

    I'm surprised this place has such a low rating! I've been going here for a couple years and I've never once had a bad experience or been treated rudely. You have to be early to get in due to there client limits but as long as you call before 8am, you will get in. The doctors have always been really helpful and always follow up afterwards. You just have to be upfront about what you would like them to do and they will provide it. They even got me in during the evening in the urgent care when they were booked up one time. They obviously have limits as a walk in but if you need general testing there good for referrals and check ups!

    I do not like to post or review anything about doctors as I respect this profession a lot. But a newly graduate doctor, Dr. Xinyang Huang really shows no care and lack of knowledge and experience towards his patients. He stood far far away from the patients with a mask and a shield. He did not do a thorough check up nor ask any basic questions about the patientā€™s symptoms. When he was asked about the medication, he was hesitated, couldnā€™t give me any confirmed or detailed answers or just cockily gave me a quick answer (which was totally incorrect after checking with my family doctor) I would advise patients to see other doctors. I would also suggest Dr. Huang to be guided or mentored by other doctors if he is considering to work in this field for long term. Patients do need to be treated properly with care. Thank you to the other doctors and front staff.

    Couldnā€™t get in with my family doctor soon enough so I called this clinic and they got me in for a same day appointment. Checked in with receptionist and they put me in an exam room immediately even though I was a little early to my appointment. Quick and efficient service, didnā€™t need to wait long at all, doctor came in to see me at my appointment time and fixed my issue within minutes.

    I've been here a few times and I have to say it's a miserable experience. Trying to book an appointment is a hassle because they will only do phone appointments and you NEED to call at 8am when they open (even then they don't answer for the first half hour and their phone system loops) On top of that Dr.Huang is just a terrible listener. Diagnosed me with gout after telling him I had pain in my right toe. Didn't ask me about my diet, age or other risk factors and prescribed me anti-inflammatories. Spoke to another doctor, turns out it was just a sprain. I get that being a doctor is hard but maybe do a little more due diligence before prescribing medication.

    I wish to give 0 star to front desk receptionist who has young voice. She hangs up on my sister 3 times without any reason. Made us to re call over and over again. when she got my sisters call in 4th trial, i was there beside, but it was the worst experience I ve ever heard. Please don't talk to patients in such a rude way. She is so overbearing. Speeches.

    Same experience here as many others. I called and the receptionist said she couldnā€™t hear me and hung up. They are a walk-in clinic that doesnā€™t accept walk-ins. Hilariously bad. Go somewhere else.

    I came to the walk in clinic and they say they just doing virtual and it was bad because I came around 7:20 to register at 7:45 they told me Iā€™m phone the doctor just have Advil and rest thatā€™s it. They donā€™t even care if your sick or no.

    UPCC Dr. Min Sung Melissa Kim is terrible, she treated patient so bad. First Dr. Kim said patient need to do blood test. She advised patient there will be a walk-in clinic doctor contact patient to help after, no need to contact her after first appointment. Patient waited until the day for the fake appointment and also requested day off for it, no one contacted patient. When patient call back, they said Dr. Kim didnā€™t arrange any appointments and didnā€™t follow the correct procedure to provide information. Doctor lies to patient! Clinic said Dr. Kim will call back on Sunday. Because she should be the person to provide the feedback but said thatā€™s other doctorā€™s work. And for the correct procedure, clinic arranged Dr. Kim to call back. Dr. Kim called back on Sunday. She didnā€™t give any help, just be rude and said she already did her work, nothing she should do, and even didnā€™t admit she didnā€™t book appointments and lies to patient. She even complained and said thatā€™s because patient didnā€™t understand the B.C. health system, thatā€™s patientā€™s own problem, go to figure out themselves and hung up the call.

    What is up with this? Either they just don't answer the phone there's no doctor on duty or they're closed for the day. I've been trying to get ahold of him for a week. Last time this happened I had to walk down there to make an appointment over the phone. Get it together.

    Dr. Ndlovu is the best pediatrician. She has a very positive vibe. I can't thank her enough for the special and excellent care she always provides..I am blessed that she is my daughterā€™s pediatrician. Great manangent & staff.

    Iā€™m so sad to hear everyoneā€™s experience. I was able to get a phone visit a month ago, and now need to find out about my lab results. The website says theyā€™re open only on the weekend these days,but Iā€™ve been trying to call in during business hours (Saturday ) and nobody answers the phone. Iā€™ve been coming here for years and itā€™s been reliable. This last little while,they dropped the ball.

    Positive experience with prime care Edmonds clinic today as I barely waited to be helped when checked in..Dr-yiqi chen was very professional and knowledgeable,She took her time to listen about my concerns properly and suggested her best to sort them out. Moreover ,earlier also I have noticed that all the MOAā€™s staff who work over-there are really nice and helpful as I come here every week for getting my allergy shots done and always had an peaceful visit as they put me at ease with their calm and helpful demeanour..So the whole staff definitely deserve positive vibes from my side..And I would have no qualms in recommending the clinic to friends and family ā€¦ Thanks prime care clinic ,keep the good work going šŸ‘
