I
went
here
because
seven
different
walk
in
clinics
I
contacted
this
morning
were
all
at
capacity
and
the
last
one
told
me
to
go
here.
I
drove
a
very
long
way
and
the
first
thing
they
said
when
I
arrived
is
that
it’s
an
appointment-only
urgent
care
centre.
What?????
What
was
going
on
with
my
body
was
extremely
private
and
when
they
asked
me
to
describe
my
problem
in
front
of
the
other
staff
and
patients,
I
said
I
could
only
tell
a
nurse.
I
asked
if
I
could
tell
someone
in
a
private
room.
They
said
to
wait
in
the
waiting
room.
The
nurse
called
my
phone
number
from
the
waiting
room
and
asked
me
to
tell
her
on
the
phone
while
still
in
the
same
room
as
before.
That
move
was
just
plain
passive-aggressive.
When
I
said
I
wasn’t
comfortable,
she
then
asked
me
to
go
down
to
my
car,
but
I
told
her
i
got
a
ride
so
it
was
not
private.
She
then
told
me
to
go
to
the
public
washroom
down
the
hall
to
discuss
my
medical
needs.
She
told
me
to
get
the
key
from
the
front
desk.
I
went
to
the
front
desk
to
ask
for
the
key
and
I
started
crying
by
accident.
I’ve
never
been
asked
by
a
medical
professional
to
go
to
a
public
washroom
in
the
same
building
to
talk
about
my
private
and
embarrassing
medical
problem.
They
realized
this
wasn’t
alright,
and
they
brought
me
into
a
room
to
talk.
After
telling
a
different
nurse,
the
doctor
came
in
and
I
told
her
about
my
symptoms.
She
told
me
that
my
issue
wasn’t
enough
of
an
emergency,
and
that
I
shouldn’t
have
come.
She
literally
told
me
I
should
not
have
come
and
I
should
have
talked
to
a
pharmacist
instead.
She
was
condescending,
sarcastic
and
dismissive.
She
wrote
me
a
prescription
for
the
parasite
and
before
I
left,
she
told
me
she
could
have
done
this
over
the
phone.
This
experience
had
me
feeling
ashamed
and
traumatized.
