My
fiance
brought
me
here
because
I
have
been
struggling
with
body
pain
since
my
motorcycle
accident
in
2019.
Back
then,
I
shattered
my
pelvis,
broke
my
neck
and
a
disc
in
my
back,
ripped
some
intestines,
had
to
have
an
ostomy,
came
out
with
lots
of
nerve
damage,
had
to
have
skin
grafts,
etc
etc.
I
have
healed
pretty
amazingly
considering
all
of
the
injuries,
but
I
have
daily
chronic
pain
and
a
lot
of
it
is
in
my
muscles.
I
have
been
to
numerous
chiropractors,
doctors,
massage
therapists,
and
a
naturopath
trying
to
find
a
fix.
The
problem
is,
a
lot
of
western
medicine
seems
to
be
focused
on
finding
patients
relief,
but
not
necessarily
a
fix
for
the
problem.
It's
great
that
my
chiropractor
can
align
my
spine
and
neck
when
I
really
need
it
and
I
can
go
home
and
have
a
few
days
of
relief,
I
do
think
that
that
is
a
blessing
and
a
necessary
service.
It's
also
great
that
massage
therapy
can
help
with
my
fascia
issues
on
my
skin
grafts,
that's
also
pretty
necessary.
David
Kuo
at
Bonalife
yesterday
laid
me
down
on
a
massage
table
and
went
to
work.
Without
xrays
or
anything
invasive,
using
only
his
hands,
he
was
able
to
find
everything
wrong
with
me.
You
can
tell
that
he
has
been
doing
this
for
many,
many
years.
He
was
friendly
when
I
came
into
the
clinic
and
rather
funny/endearing,
which
made
it
easy
to
trust
him.
The
process
hurt
a
good
amount,
because
finding
what
ails
me
is
quite
painful.
However,
once
he
found
all
of
the
unaligned
skeletal
issues,
he
fixed
them.
I
mean
he
fixed
them
in
ways
my
chiropractor
has
never
even
attempted.
Mr.
Kuo
measured
my
shoulders
before
the
session
and
again
after.
I
had
inches
worth
of
space
between
them
and
my
neck
that
I
hadn't
had
in
the
last
year,
probably
even
two
years
since
my
accident.
My
fiance
watched
as
my
spine
suddenly
became
smooth
under
her
fingers,
whereas
at
the
beginning
of
the
session
it
was
bumpy
and
jutting
in
areas
that
were
not
sitting
against
each
other
properly.
(He
asked
her
to
touch
the
areas
of
my
body
that
he
was
going
to
fix
before
and
after
so
she
could
see
the
difference.)
After
that
Mr.
Kuo
used
acupuncture
on
my
body,
which
was
actually
my
first
time.
It
barely
hurt,
I
was
slightly
surprised;
it
only
hurt
in
my
neck
where
the
muscles
had
been
tight
the
longest.
(By
hurt,
I
mean
it
was
absolutely
bearable,
it
was
just
a
bit
of
a
dull,
discomfort).
I
have
so
much
neck
and
upper
back
pain
because
my
muscles
are
constantly
fighting
to
protect
injuries
that
no
longer
exist,
and
Mr.
Kuo
has
released
that
pain.
I
woke
up
this
morning
for
the
FIRST
TIME
in
maybe
2
YEARS
without
neck
and
back
pain.
I
rolled
out
of
bed
without
the
normal
readying
myself
or
trying
to
stretch
and
massage
out
the
knotted
bits
before
moving.
Let
me
tell
you
I
am
celebrating
this
with
a
nice
dinner
tonight.
I
will
be
returning
to
see
Mr.
Kuo
in
a
few
days
because
it
will
take
a
few
sessions
to
retrain
my
muscles
to
accept
my
repositioned
skeleton.
I
was
told
by
my
chiropractor
before
that
same
thing.
I
will
update
this
review
after
a
few
sessions.
Even
if
I
have
to
see
Mr.
Kuo
every
few
months
for
years,
I
would
be
happy
to.
I
currently
see
a
chiropractor
and
massage
therapist
once
every
week
or
two.
Mr.
Kuo
works
out
of
the
Richmond
office
and
the
Burnaby
office
on
alternating
days.
