Norburn
is
a
clean
and
caring
medical
centre
and
I'm
pleased
that
appointments
are
always
honoured
(even
though
the
schedule
runs
behind
sometimes.)
The
front
desk
staff
are
friendly
and
will
listen
readily
to
concerns
and
most
of
the
doctors
are
competent
and
impartial,
except
for
Dr.
Khai
Phan
(my
former
family
doctor).
When
Dr.
Phan
took
over
the
practice
for
Dr.
Hardy,
he
appeared
to
be
a
compassionate,
competent
doctor.
I
eventually
made
the
decision
to
stop
seeing
him
because
he
discriminated
against
my
lifestyle
and
beliefs
(constantly
pushed
his
views
and
religion
at
me)
and
had
zero
regard
for
confidentiality.
My
entire
family
goes
to
see
him
and
he
asks
them
about
me
even
though
he
is
no
longer
my
family
doctor.
I
know
this
is
true
because
my
family
members
have
told
me
that
Dr.
Phan
has
discussed
me
during
their
appointments
(despite
the
fact
that
I'm
a
legal
adult)
and
they
know
aspects
of
my
medical
history
that
they
would
otherwise
have
no
way
of
knowing.
I
suspect
that
my
family
members
may
be
the
ones
to
initiate
this
gossip
with
Dr.
Phan,
but
as
the
authority
and
the
one
bound
by
a
medical
oath
(which
includes
confidentiality
of
the
patient),
the
doctor
should
be
the
one
to
shut
the
gossip
down
on
the
basis
of
unprofessionalism.
Fair
warning:
Dr.
Phan
does
not
treat
all
patients
equally
or
impartially
(as
a
doctor
should)
and
seems
more
concerned
about
if
they
are
following
his
lifestyle
and
religion
than
if
they
are
healthy.
