Central Park Pitch & Putt

Golf course

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Played it Sat Feb 19th, opening weekend. The greens look great for this time of year. Lots of new drainage work to improve the course. Looking forward to the new improved maintenance. New net at the 14th hole too for wayward shots. Good job city of burnaby. People often mention holes, putt, pitch, trees, greens,

Awesome location and by far my favorite Pitch & Putt in greater Vancouver. The courses have phenomenal upkeep, aesthetically beautiful with incredible trees and greenery. The holes are all par three and vary from 60 to 125 yards, nicely spread out. Only downside is that you tee off on mats, not grass. Staff are super friendly, great people and a dope experience!

My favorite pitch and putt place. Nice grounds. Not as 'rolly/hilly' as Kensington Beware of coyotes. Tons of squirrels. Please do not feed or harass the wildlife. Washrooms available right St the start It can get quite busy on weekends so come early. Especially if you need to park.

Well kept course and greens are always pretty decent. 85-100 yds is the bulk of the range of holes. With a couple shorter and a couple longer. Staff are always pleasant to deal with too. Pace of play generally good. And nicely planted at the edge of the park

What a blessing to have this beautiful park within walking distance from my place. A lot of beautiful trees, different sizes and kinds. A lot of workout amenities.

Prince Poo loves the well maintained grounds and greens of this beautiful pitch n putt. No real hazards so it’s great for novice players and not losing a lot of balls. Lots of trees and shade make it perfect on a hot day. Come early in summer or be prepared to wait..

Great pitch & putt course, definitely better than the ones in Vancouver since it gets the perfect amount of sun & shade that makes the grounds perfect, neither hard or too soft like the QE and Rupert course. It's also more challenging holes & trees than the Stanley park course and has a handful of holes that are 100+ yards. Will definitely play this course again.

Nice little pitch and putt in the middle of the city with lots of greenery and wildlife. Saw an eagle, raccoon, along with lots of squirrels during play.

This course is a fun classic for casual players. I've been playing here for over 20 years off and on. The holes are not too difficult, but each brings it's own unique challenge to the table. The Douglas fir trees really add a distinct character to the scenery

A delightful golfing experience! Even when you are a newbie this course is fun and manageable. Attendants are all very polite and friendly. The greens are well kept for an "all are welcome" pitch and putt.

Well maintained mid range pitch and putt shady so the greens are real nice. Good atmosphere. At peak times you could be waiting an hour. It can get really busy after work times 530 on.

Perfect for amateurs like me who have been going to the driving range for a while now but aren’t ready for a full golf course. Also significantly less expensive. Similar experience to the pitch and putt at Stanley Park.

Very nice course with lots of local wildlife to see. It’s common to see eagles, coyotes, squirrels, etc. Course is well kept.

Beautiful and picturesque woodland course - good test for the beginner with holes ranging from 50yds to 110yds. Only negative is the course is not marshaled so many newbies play multiple balls in groups larger than 4 (although there is signage to the contrary) and have no regard for etiquette (do not fix pitchmarks and take so so long to finish a hole and move on)

Absolutely lovely par 3 course. The pro at the shop was friendly and amiable, and it was an absolute delight playing immersed in the forest of Central Park. It was a little dicey at times because of the proximity to the public, but as long as you have a decent hold on your game, it wouldn't be a problem at all. All the wildlife was a treat as well, with dozens of squirrels and hummingbirds along the course. As for challenge rating, none of the holes was longer than 125 yards, and the greens were fairly well maintained as was the fairway. All in all, an entirely enchanting experience that I will be repeating again in the future, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to just get out and hit some balls around. I would recommend getting their fairly early though, as when I finished my round, which is actually a full 18 holes, it looked quite busy, with many groups standing around waiting to golf. Though, anyone who knows anything about golf knows that it is an early sport, and the best tee times are always as early as possible. One, to miss the crowds, and two, to avoid the heat of midday.
