I got the Roasted Matcha Milk Tea which unfortunately was a bit of a disappointment as it was super sweet and clearly a pre-mixed powder rather than actual matcha which by itself, is how it should be as it's super good when done properly! The only recommendation I can make is to combo this with some Coffee Jelly which was pretty yummy itself and the bitterness complimented out the sweet in a nice tastebud-like balance. My partner also got the Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Grass Jelly which was also very weak tasting to be honest. However, the staff were super friendly and kind, and they offer coconut, almond, Oat and soy milk alternatives which is awesome. All drinks are one size, not bad value for money. Support local businesses!

There's many franchise bubble tea shops inside metro, but if you want an authentic place for bubble tea with quality pearls, I recommend The Little Tea shop. I've never had any issues with the staff or owner, and it's disheartening to see some reviews people have written on here. People don't realize that these are small business owners who work hard to run their business, and considering how many business's have failed during covid, we should be more forgiving and compassionate.

Me and my wife's favorite bubble tea place. Staff is amazingly friendly and pr ofessional. The service is super quick and efficient. I recommend the Oreo taro slush with pearls. It's amazing or the taro bubble tea. My wife loves the strawberry cheesecake slush with pearls too.

We bought a Green Apple Refreshing Tea from Little Tea House and it really was refreshing. Nowadays it seems like there are new Bubble Tea shops popping up everywhere, but after all these years Little Tea House at Metrotown is still one of my favourite Bubble Tea shops. The quality of their drinks is always top notch. I havn't had a single drink there that I didn't like. They have lots of different flavors to choose from, and when I first got into brown sugar pearl drinks, this place had one of the best brown sugar pearls out of all the shops we tried. (and we tried quite a number of them) Parking there is easy as it's located right inside Metropolis at Metrotown so there's plenty of parking. (And the parking is free!) It's an excellent place to pick up a thirst quencher if you're in the mall, or even just somewhere nearby in the neighbourhood. Fast and efficient service on a busy Saturday (whoever was making the drinks made drinks back to back in an orderly manner by whoever ordered the drinks first). There was a line but went by really fast. You can choose sugar and ice level of some of the drinks. I ordered the pearl milk tea and customized with 25% sugar and 50% ice. It was good as the drink was not overly sweet and the pearls were chewy. Would definitely come back again.

The best bubble tea place in lower mainland. I've tried so many different places finding a good bubble tea place. Many chain stores vary a lot each time I visit. But this place, whatever I get is perfect! Very consistent this past 6 or 7 times and they have nice, warm and chewy pearls which I love. I can't go back to other places. I love their coffee slush with pearls: )

When I visited yesterday, I noticed one customer talking to the staff about getting his order wrong. For some reason his friends ended up getting involved and berating the staff when it started to sound like it might have just been his fault. To the cashiers' credit, they had way more patience than I would have had! Considering how shaken up the staff was probably feeling, I think they did a great job, and I've always been happy with my experiences there - fast service, consistent product, and a good selection of fruit-based options. And it was honestly refreshing to see they didn't just give in to such obnoxious behaviour... I'll make sure to drop in again soon :)

Every time I go to the metrotown mall, I always hit up Little Tea House. The service is always friendly and I just love their Passion Fruit Green tea with Coconut Jelly. Definitely one of my favorite spots for a refreshing beverage.

One of the best boba shops! The staff are so amazing and sweet. The bubble teas are delicious! My favorite one is the chocolate oreo slush with boba.

Ordered Thai Milk Tea today with grass jelly... and wasn't happy with the overall taste. The tea part was subpar, but the grass jelly was the downfall... it's like they watered it down and added another cup of water. It's not a great first taste.. little Tea House. It's not worth my money and I mostly won't order anything again... at least for a while....

We ordered two drinks. Both were terrible. Mango slush was tasteless. It has no sweetness, even though we asked about sweet level. Second strawberry lemonade has strawberry chunks which is supposed to eat but it was literally big pieces. Wastage of money

Loved their bubble tea and their customer service is amazing. Almost all employees greeted me and gave a smile. I had already tried all other bubble tea flavors so I asked the girl at the counter that I wanna try something new and refreshing so make me any drinks that you'd like to drink. so she made calpis yogurt green tea that I've never tried. Honestly speaking, it was wonderful. Must go there

This is the go-to for me and my kids! So many beverages to choose from (my son, I think, is determined to try them all), and variety of toppings (my daughter is really into the strawberry popping boba). Absolutely lovely people, too! Highly recommend!

By far the best place to get bubble tea in Metrotown mall! The pearls are delicious and the staff are super kind. Everything always tastes so fresh, the service is fast and there's so many options on the menu to satisfy all kinds of cravings. This is definitely my go to place for bubble tea!

Probably some of the best pearls in the Lower Mainland I get the Aiyu Jelly slush quite regularly and the pearls are always perfectly done, not like some of the other large chains where it's sometimes hit or miss depending on the time you go. Also convenient after the madness that is Superstore grocery shopping.

The service was reasonably quick but my tea had all sorts of non-pearl bits at the bottom, which made the finishing of this drink unpleasant and concerning. $5 for straight black tea with pearls, so not cheap and not great. Convenient location though right next to Superstore, and also pretty clean. I think it may be rice, which I understand is sometimes in the tea but not enjoyable..

Literally the best bubble tea place in the entire lower mainland. Always great service, great drinks and I love their mid sized (smaller than usual) tapioca balls.

I have been going here with my mother ever since before the pandemic and even during it. They were very Covid friendly and still give excellent customer service. Whenever I order from here they always double check to get it right and it always turns out amazing. I always bring my friends here as it's convenient to grab a drink and continue shopping.

Bubble tea is average. 3/5 Customer service. 0/5 Before ordering, I wanted to see if I would make it in time for my bus to Victoria, so I asked what the employee thinks the wait time is. Totally a harmless question. I’m was a barista and we get that question all the time. The man, in his 50s, 60s said very rudely “you see all these people? when they get their drinks then you’re next”. I said “I understand, I was just hoping to get an estimated wait time”, to which he went back and forth with me so I simply said “Thank you” and left. Don’t know if he woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but for a totally innocent, unprovoking question, it really bothered me for how rude he was. I don’t expect you to greet me with a smile or ask how my day was, but don’t scare your regulars into not coming again because you don’t like answering basic questions. Really disappointing.

I recently visited this bubble tea store and I have to say, it was an amazing experience! From the moment I went up to the cashier to order, I was greeted with a warm smile from the staff. The store was clean and well-organized, which made it easy to browse the menu and choose my drink. The variety of bubble tea flavors was impressive, and I appreciated that they had both classic and unique options. I decided to try their strawberry lemonade, and it did not disappoint! The flavour of the strawberry lemonade perfectly complimented the chewy, flavorful pearls! What really stood out to me was the attention to detail in the presentation of the drinks. My drink was beautifully garnished with fresh fruit and looked almost too pretty to drink! I also appreciated that they used eco-friendly straws and cups. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at this bubble tea store. The staff was friendly, the drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was inviting. I highly recommend this store to anyone looking for a great bubble tea experience! 5 stars!

This is one of my favorite bubble tea places in the lower mainland. The owner and staff are super friendly and always greet everyone with a smile. I have been coming here for years and although I'm not from Burnaby, when I stop by this mall I'll make sure to make a pitstop at the Little tea house for the best mango fresh fruit smoothie.

Really disappointed in little tea house. I’m a regular customer and I always loved my experience coming. However, today the owner greeted us with unnecessary hostility. He frustratingly welcomed us by saying “are you gonna to order you’ve come multiple times and I’m trying to eat dinner” in a confrontational tone. Even though there was no sign or indication that the bubble tea house was closed during open hours. Just for context purposes my sister and I briefly looked at the menu once and were indecisive on what we wanted so we walked away and then came back a minute later which prompted the owner to suggest that we were inconveniencing him during his supper time by coming multiple times when that was not the case. I understand that people have bad days but put a sign saying you’re eating and closed during open hours rather than projecting your stuff onto your customers. Sadly because of this experience you lost regular profit from my sister and I ever purchasing or recommending your bubble tea. And you lost a large order from today.Please treat your customers with dignity and respect. They deserve better.
