We did the Alien Odyssey game at Bamboozled after seeing great reviews about it, as well as it being mentioned as one of the best escape rooms in Vancouver. Some of the mechanism of the rooms were cool but nothing new or outstanding. The puzzles were straight forward and very easy. We had more trouble getting some of the buttons to respond than solving the puzzles. Most of the "puzzles" were just follow the instructions on the TV and do basic math / pattern matching. There wasn't anything where we had to really think. This isn't to say that puzzles where things are clues are unrelated are good but a good puzzle should include level of creative problem solving. This was not what we got at Bamboozled. On the pro side, there isn't any number locks and everything seems to be custom built for the room. On the con side, the production value was not very high and it wasn't very fun for experienced escapists.

Fantastic escape room to do as a family! We enjoyed this room so, so much…we are already planning when to go back to do another one. We did the Dragon’s Quest room and it was a blast: lots of great puzzles, cool light effects and an exciting ending. Everything about this place seems clean and well-maintained. The staff person was really nice and ready to jump in with a hint (or encouragement that we were on the right track and just had to get the timing right) whenever needed. All of their rooms sound well suited to do with children; nothing too scary or creepy. There was a startling moment in the dragon room, but it was brief and set the stage for the next part of the quest well. They provide age recommendations for each room. Amazing experience and exceeded our expectations! We will be going back soon

Amazing family owned business with super creative rooms. A bit of a hidden gem, tucked away and so glad we found it. My kiddos (4 and 6) love their escape experience and want to go to another room already! (They are too young to figure out all the clues on their own, so adult help is needed but they had so much fun!) The team took the time to help us during the duration, extended our time and we just had a fabulous experience. The team also took time to ask how we are doing, email us after and ask for feedback, seems like a really solid team that want to deliver great experience for customers. Highly recommend it.

We did Pirate Plunder with just 2 of us. This was one of the best escape room experiences I've had. I loved how the game pushed hints automatically. There was a clock in the room so we could keep track of time. The puzzles were very unique. The staff member seemed to really enjoy his job and helped us a lot and even took our photo at the end. We appreciated they gave us extra time to finish. All-together a 5* experience. We'll be back for sure.

We had an absolute blast here with our party of 6! The puzzles were the perfect difficulty; not too hard and not too easy. We also really loved the atmosphere and the attention to detail and theming. It was such a fantastic time to spend a birthday and we would love to come back!

We absolutely loved our experience here! My partner and I have done about 60 escape rooms and this one is definitely top notch! The did the Legend of Dragons and the story was well thought out and the rooms were very high tech! Gander, the gamemaster was in character the whole time and was very entertaining and engaging! He really took the experience to the next level! We will be back to do the rest of the rooms :)

Wow! Such a fun escape room! We did the dragon room and it was very clean and feel more spacious than other escape rooms. The story was fun and you always felt a strong sense of accomplishment when you figure our the puzzle. We are definitely planning on coming back! Also big shout out the game master, he 100% made the experience even more that more fun.

I’ve done many escape rooms around the world and this one did not live up to its rating. I tried 2 rooms (alien and rainforest ruins) and both of them centred around a screen to guide you from one step to the next. Both of the room my team and I escaped with plenty of time. It felt more like a task mastering game than an escape room. With some of the puzzles just seeming like a time filler and just tedious as opposed to difficult or an actual brain game. The mechanics are good but sometimes there is a delay that can make you mess up and have to do it all over again. May be good for a group with kids or a group new to escape rooms but I will not be returning here.

The experience was amazing the whole family was involved the staff was amazing actually did not rush us out got to experience the whole adventure was challenging but had great time. Will go back although time could be bit longer if little ones involved but yes it is timed enjoy the adventure 👍👍canned doations add couple more minutes

Had a thoroughly amazing time here. My team and I were blown away by the level of detail at every point in our room (the dragon was probably the highlight). From the puzzles themselves to the quality of props and dynamic use of sound and lighting effects, it was impressive and entertaining. Far surpasses any of the Exit chain escape rooms. You can definitely tell that love and care went into the creation of the room. And the owners/employees were incredible people too :) Can’t wait to come back and try the rest!

Hands down the best escape room that I have ever tried. I tried the rain forest one with 4 other friends today and we were able to successfully complete it with 3mins left on the clock. Will definitely come back to try a different room. The male staff was also super friendly and energetic.

Our family of three played the Alien themed room. We did not realize it was one of the hardest rooms they had and it is our first time doing any escape rooms ever. We had a great time though even though we couldn't finish in the allotted time. The person working there was extremely kind and helpful. He let us stay an extra 10 mins because no one was booked after us so we could finish and I'm so happy we could.

I had an amazing experience at this escape room! From the moment we walked in, the staff was friendly and welcoming, and the decor and atmosphere really set the mood for the different escape rooms they have to offer. The puzzles and challenges were challenging yet solvable, and the attention to detail in the room design was impressive. Every element of the room was thoughtfully crafted to add to the overall experience. Overall, I had a blast and can't wait to try their other rooms. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and engaging activity with friends or family. We have one more room to go, ALIEN INVASION!

Had an amazing time from even before we arrived. We called because we had to re-schedule and Gander (our game master) was already in character over the phone with very kind tone and words helping us make our changes. When we arrived we were greeted by him once again and was very helpful, kind, and engaging. The game itself was one of our favourites. We’ve done over 60 escape rooms all over Canada and this one had some of the most creative and interactive puzzles we’ve seen. For a group of two, Legend of Dragon is perfect as it is linear and can be easily done by collaborating on the puzzles. We escaped with 2 minutes left and are definitely planning on coming back for more hours of fun! Thank you Bamboozled and thank you Gander!

Came with church friends and enjoyed rain forest and alien planet experience. Puzzles very challenging. Owner gave us extra30 minutes to finish. Got into the 3 rooms that open up as u complete puzzles. Everyone enjoyed experience as first time for most.

Loved it!! A great mix of mental puzzles and some physical challenges. Liked the use of audio visual components to add a very up to date twist. We've done quite a few different escape rooms and Bamboozled is one of the best. Highly recommended, we did Rainforest Ruins but will definitely be back to try the other rooms!!

I wholeheartedly recommend this venue for those seeking enjoyable moments with family, friends, or romantic partners. I've completed every room and not only are the puzzles challenging, but also immensely fun. I'm excited for future games and will be coming back if they ever decided to create some new rooms.

We really enjoyed playing at Bamboozled escape games. Definitely higher quality materials and better presentation than other escape rooms I’ve been to. It was well thought out and straightforward but still mysterious and challenging enough to keep you completely in the moment. We barely made it through all the puzzles with 30 seconds to spare! We will be back to try the other rooms soon

We did Space Odyssey room, it was really great, all riddles were very clear from the beginning and not boring, ZERO locks, i would always recommend visting!

AMAZING. Did Alien Odyssey today and it was the best escape room I’ve done. Incredibly unique and fun interactive mechanics, challenging but fair puzzles, lots of teamwork opportunities. I felt like I had really been on an actual adventure lol. Also the cutscene videos were A+. Staff was great too, and accommodating. Will 100% be back!

My friends and I had a super fun time! Loved the story and how interactive the room was. Cool puzzles and effects made for a fun surprise each time we solved a puzzle. The staff was really friendly too! Thank you- we will definitely be back in the future to try another room!

Absolutely incredible experience. My partner and I love escape rooms and this was the most immersive, magical one we've ever done. They have so many cool tricks with touch sensors and RFID chips, it all really feels like magic. We did the dragon room and would highly recommend. It was my partner's birthday so he got in for free too!

Played the pirate room. we had a good time although know going in this is more of an experience than an escape room. The actual puzzles are simple and few and far between. Mostly you just follow instructions. Still it was creative and I think would be great for kids. Would love to try some of their more puzzle heavy escape rooms as I think they'd be wonderful.

Our family of four (kids are 8 and 10) did Pirate's Plunder on my son's birthday (free for the birthday person!). What a great experience!!! We have done 3 escape rooms at a popular chain and this blew all of them out of the water. This beginner's game was perfect for our ages, but honestly the adults loved it too. Unlimited hints and the puzzles actually made sense. Lots of hands-on interactive steps and cooperation. I love that this is a small family business, owner Mark got us all set and is a pleasure. The quality of the room itself is great too - some other places we've been to are starting to look a bit neglected but not here, everything is fresh and functional. Easy free parking. Will be coming back to do the Rainforest room soon!

Wow! The rooms are impressive! We have done more than 70 rooms in 2 provinces and multiple cities and this was one of the best, if not the best room we have done. There were so many puzzles and each puzzle was comprehensive. There is a narrated voice and TV in the room to guide you through the room. And to top it off, everything is so clean and well kept like the paint on the walls is crisp and not banged up. The rooms were well maintenance as well. To top it off the staff were so pleasant and friendly. Talk about raising the bar for escape rooms! Way to go!

Hosted a small 7 person birthday party for a bunch of grade5. kids attempted the easiest run (rainforest ruins) The kids had a great time, running around looking for clues, patterns, and ignoring the clear instructions 😅. The GM/staff were quick to support and help keep the fun flowing. Puzzles were good for this age, will definitely come back to try the other story modes!

Did the dragon escape room experience with a few friends and was really impressed with how detailed the escape room was. There were many interactive portions to the game, which was super neat. Of course, it was rewarding to manage to beat the game. Would love to come back again to try the other escape rooms!

The customer service was really nice and even though we didn’t finish in time they let us have more time to finish it. The escape room was overall fantastic and fun. They also came to check on us when we were gaveling trouble!

I don't normally do reviews, but this place is so incredible I had to put in a good word. Hands down the best escape room place in Vancouver. I've done 3 of the 4 themes so far, and have been blown away every time. The setup and atmosphere are all unbelievably immersive and realistic. On top of that, they seem to give you additional time if you're close to completing the escape room! Amazing service. Just an absolutely incredible experience all around. I always recommend anyone who visits Vancouver or who hasn't been to bamboozled yet to try it. You can sense their passion and creativity in what they do. They deserve all the recognition in the world.

My partner and I have done almost every single escape room in Vancouver and Burnaby, and this is definitely in our top 3. We had the best time on Halloween. The rooms are extremely well thought out and super interactive as well. Definitely go here if you haven't, the puzzles are intriguing and interesting and not just 'open a lock to find another lock' kind of puzzles.

I went to bamboozled escape games for my birthday and had a great time doing the Legend of Dragons room! My husband was skeptical about escape rooms at first, but he loved it and can't wait to go back. The staff were friendly, informative, and helped make our time there even better. Would definitely recommend and we will be coming back to try out the other rooms.

Mom's request was an escape room for mothers day. So off on an Alien Odyssey we went! Bamboozled did not disappoint! The puzzles were challenging, but logical. We were very impressed with the way everything was set up. We managed to finish with just 45 seconds left, on a massive endorphin high! So much fun, we will be back!!

My friends and I, as usually a group of 6, came here for around two years and completed all the rooms. Before then, we had done 10+ and now 20+ other escape rooms, and we still always mention Bamboozled when recommending escape rooms. All of the rooms are really creative and fun, involve very intricate technological aspects, and are not too hard or too easy at all. The student discount is great and we also celebrated two birthdays here. Hoping for a new room here that we can try out someday!
