A quaint and dope little joint to grab a good Allegro coffee and chill in the beautiful sunshine on a good day! Their pastries look really tasty too, on my next visit I'm grabbing one of those cruffins! They only have Oat Milk as a dairy free alternative, which is Oatly and a good brand and tasty however. Staff are super friendly and nice people. Support local businesses!

Love their pastries and coffee, I highly recommend! A very cozy environment to chill and enjoy their fresh bakeries. The staff are very friendly and overall, we enjoyed our time there. If you drive you can use the street parking or park behind their cafe which is their designated parking spot.

Great little coffee shop with interesting pastries and dishes. I really like their open face salmon sandwich. Wifi was a little spotty in the area but otherwise great place.

Everything is amazing whenever we visit this place. the staff are very friendly, the moment you walk in you feel their hospitality. They have a wide range of cakes and cookies you could choose from. Also, they offer amazing sandwiches with fresh ingredients at a very good price, a good option for your lunch. Moreover, they have the best coffees I have ever tried in Vancouver, very rich and freshly roasted. Make sure you buy their coffee beans. On top of everything, their smoothies, a very big woooooow, incredibly delicious and dense. It’s a big miss if you don’t try their berry smoothie. By far the best smoothies in town.

I absolutely love this place! The environment is lovely, warm, and fits perfectly with their Smoked Salmon Open Sandwich that is a delight. Also a fan of their carrot cake 😌 great flavour and not overwhelming - you can taste everything in it and it's so soft

Great place to have a nice morning coffee. I visited them on their opening day and was very impressed at the quality of their coffee and pastry and also the environment they have built. Definitely recommend it as we never had such place in Burnaby for a long time.

A delightful space with delicious coffee and lovely staff. I was so excited when I saw they had finally opened. I hate to write such a glowing review because it's a hidden gem and part of me wants it to remain one, but they really deserve to become more popular!

My Google Maps adventure led me to the hidden gem, Cup and Bun Cafe, and what an extraordinary find it was! Stepping into this "haven", I was greeted by a serene ambience, impeccable cleanliness, and a level of service that genuinely exceeded expectations. During my visit, serendipity struck as I celebrated a colleague's birthday. Seizing the moment, I inquired about birthday candles, and despite being told they did not have any, the remarkable staff orchestrated a magical surprise. They went the extra mile without hesitation, sending a team member on a candle-hunting mission. The grand reveal included a harmonious rendition of the Happy Birthday song, casting a warm glow over our celebration. Their commitment to customer delight sets a standard for businesses everywhere. Now, let's talk about the Hot Chocolate Challenge, a creation that transcended the ordinary. This decadent concoction masterfully blended dark chocolate and milk, infused with aromatic saffron syrup and crowned with saffron and cardamom-flavoured whipped cream. A sensory journey that left me utterly indulged. #HotChocolateChallengeYVR I offer heartfelt gratitude to Cup and Bun Cafe for turning a simple visit into a memorable experience. I am eagerly anticipating my next rendezvous with this unparalleled establishment!

Cozy cafe with plenty of outlets for charging. Chicken pesto sandwich is delicious. Great prices as well. The red velvet cake is also super tasty, there are plenty of other deserts and pastries that look just as delicious. Decorations and plants are adorable too. Customer service is super polite! An amazing cafe spot worth while.

My favourite cafe in the neighborhood!!! The owners are so sweet and care so so much about customer experience. Most if not all items are made in house with care and I love supporting this business

I love this Cafe Amir Ali, the owner of the cafe, was very kind and the staff was very friendly. I walked past this awesome coffee joint and its outdoor seating on a sunny day instantly grabbed my attention and I just had to swing by. They also have a bunch of yum looking baked goods which I have my eyes on for next time. The Cafe decor is super nice and layout is very COVID friendly but offers a nice comfortable atmosphere. All in all, an awesome experience and I cannot wait to revisit. A new go-to local for sure! Help support local where you can! Especially during these difficult times.

Came in for a drink, left with more. Prompt friendly service. Reasonable drink prices and fresh daily baked pastries. The danish was not too sweet, and flaky. There were lots of tea choices. Will return for lunch at some point!

Cup and Bun is an adorable coffee shop. Very warm and comfortable ambience, and the staff are kind and welcoming. The food looked great too, but I only ended up getting a dark chocolate mocha.

finally got to eat at this place! awesome ambiance! had fire on the tv, good heat, and lounge music was really relaxing after my walk around PNE area. staff was very very patient with me and my husband's questions...bec we are Vegetarian, pregnant, and curious so we can do an honest review. i also saw ger clean the presentation glass which makes me happy bec it shows me the staff and the owner cares about cleanliness and presentation. a very clean place indeed. bought hot chocolate and chocolate cake: - hot chocolate had lots of froth. I didn't mind it. still tasted good. i could taste real coco and not powdered chocolate. worth the $$$. i dont appreciate having to pay for artificial powdered drinks for more than what they are worth. better than starbucks, blends, and tim hortons. suggestion on this drink is to make it a bit bigger and have an option to heat it up for dine in only. - chocolate cake is moist, layered chocolate cake. very sweet and good portion as well. good for 2 people or 1 person who wants to kill time. the only downer is that it did taste stale a bit since it's been out for a time. but it didn't dampen any of our enjoyment of the cake. so far the experience me and my husband had at this place was very enjoyable. people can hang out here for sure. not a lot of sockets for charging but there is a place for sure to lounge and study. different kinds of chairs for indoor and outdoor. you can share with a stranger or not. they also have other food but we wanted to compare their ordinary menu only. the only thing that i had to comment on is on the dated washroom. but im sure they will clean it up. and that it's a really small place which restricts customer flow but was not a problem for us since there's not a load of people yet! would def come back here again to try another treat they have and update my review.

What a cute small cafe! Like the decorations and the soothing music, has a European old town feel. Prices are reasonable, and the portion of food is big (at least that's the case with the salmon quiche). The organic coffee is decent. Everything is good. Strongly recommend.

Let me share with you this wonderful slice of Heaven. To start I had the Matcha Latte. It was rich and ended on a bitter note. Now if you've ever been to Japan or want to taste a more 'traditional' style Macha Latte then I highly reccomend this item! However if you prefer the Starbucks style Sweet Matcha latte, it may suit you better if you add some honey. More Importantly let me tell you about the Bread! This store has homemade, fresh bread available everyday! I had the hot dog bread. (which was so good I forgot to take a picture before I bit into it!) This bread was light, fluffy and buttery. The hot dog size was generous and the barista heated it in the oven which made the bread melt in my mouth! It was so good, that I actually got off my bus and went back to buy another one! The cafe's atmosphere is chill and was a perfect place for me to study for my finals! It was a warm, comfortable and homely feel! 10/10 would reccomend!

Such a lovely little cafe on the hill! Stopped in for breakfast on my last morning in Burnaby and it was a such a cute place. Was worried it'd be busy first thing in the morning but we had the whole place to ourselves. Delicious scones and cakes.

Just found this place with excellent homemade baking. Everything I’ve had has been excellent lemon cake , carrot cake, cherry pastry, gluten free brownie. Coffee is very smooth and you get a few refill!! Have not had that in a coffee shop before. Just found out the baking is freshly made during the week, but have only gone on weekends, that’s how good it is, could not tell it wasn’t baked same day. Had soup and salad one day SOGOOD, very tasty soup, salad dressing and served with a very nice bread. Excellent baking, quality coffee. seats are comfy food is good and a free refill.

I saw this coffee shop on Instagram, and their high points looked quite unique, especially the vegan matcha cookies. The shop itself is not very big, but the decor is simple and nice. Unfortunately, the matcha cookies that I specifically wanted to buy were not available, and the pastries seemed limited. However, I still bought a blueberry bun and Rugelach jam cookies to-go. Additionally, there was another shelf nearby that was full of packages of dried fruits. I was curious, so I asked the only employee for information about the products, such as whether the dried fruits had added sugar, but she didn't know anything about the price or the products. Nonetheless, I still bought a bag of mulberries to try at home. As I was leaving, I saw someone eating breakfast, which looked fresh and appealing, so I plan to try it next time I come. When I got home and tried the to-go items, I highly recommend the Rugelach jam cookies. Each bite had a rich caramel flavor and a great texture, and it paired perfectly with a cup of black coffee. I hope to have a better experience next time, so that I can give a higher rating.

Very peaceful environment with nice staff and great tasting coffees and food. I ordered chicken pesto sandwich which came along with salad and an Americano coffee. I found them very fresh and I have found that they are using organic coffee to makes their stuff. Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice place to either work or relax and having coffee and food along.
