Few issues with the caravan second day on arrival we had our main water pipe burst which we reported and the staff at reception were very helpful and this was dealt with within half an hour, caravan was tidy in most areas but unfortunately was not great! The carpet was filthy which we had to sweep several times and we found mouse droppings down the side of the fridge!! And the travel cot I had paid for I did not receive, the entrainment was brilliant every evening! The atmosphere was always outstanding and many lovely people staff were pleasant and friendly, drinks were cheap enough to buy, the surroundings at this hoilday park were amazing! So overall we did have an enjoyable stay at haven .

From the moment we arrived a very warm welcome at the gate, caravan was clean, entertainment was fantastic for all age groups (we was a large group different ages) lots of fun activities, which we all enjoyed. We loved the outside and inside pool. All staff were friendly and happy to help with any queries. Thank you to you all for making our holiday enjoyable, fun and creating lots of happy memories. Look forward to returning.

We stayed in a lovely caravan was clean & tidy on arrival. Only issue we had was the kettle was full of limescale so I went to reception to report it and within a couple of hours they brought a brand new one round. The park itself is well maintained and its just a short walk to the beach and town.

Glad we only stayed 3 nights, not much to do and the beach is terrible there. We stayed in a bronze caravan and clearly the cleaning standard is the same. I won't visit again and wouldn't recommend I'm afraid. The only positive experiences were the ice cream shop we found in Burnham (between the 2 for 1 and the amusements) and the lovely, helpful security staff.

This holiday park is so spacious and clean, there is plenty to do for children and it's just a 10min walk into town. The beach is just over the road from the back gate too. The park, the walk into town and the walk to the beach are all relatively flat and ideal for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

We had a fabulous holiday enjoyed it all. The caravan was clean. The entertainment was fantastic the out door pool is great when the weather is nice. We enjoyed the bingo at 4:30 and my grandad won twice and my step dad won once so that was enjoyable. The staff are all very helpful polite and lovely. I think it’s good that you can order food (papa johns fish and chips or Burger King) up to the entertainment so you don’t have to move from your seats. I don’t like the booking system because we couldn’t get signal in our caravan to book in then when we checked they were all booked. The swimming especially. I’d suggest maybe doing a flow system for two hours in the afternoon because the evening one you’d miss the entertainment. The children went on the nature trail and enjoyed it but I’d suggest maybe doing a check list for the children so for example have a picture of the swans and when they see them check it off or when they see blackberries I think it would involve the little ones a bit more. But overall had a wonderful time and would go back just a shame the beach in burnham is so muddy and can’t get in the sea but that’s no biggie because there is plenty to do at haven.

We have had a lovely week at this site overall. We've had lovely family time and my daughter has taken part in some great activities. Entertainment was good and they went out their way for my daughter to meet Polly! The site itself is beautiful and clean. Pool, arcades, bar and toilets were well managed and clean. Pool changing rooms deep cleaned inbetween each session. Unfortunately the lift was still broken to the entertainment and some of the security guards moaned at helping you up the stairs which couldn't be helped however some were very helpful. However what let out holiday down was our caravan upon arrival wasn't clean. The cleanliness guarantee was not met. We saw the cleaners clean the caravan from the car. They just sprayed a great deal of spray in the caravan. When we went inside the floor had not been hoovered or mopped. Reception were fab and sent them back out however he admitted he did not mop. While the one cleaner (who didn't put down her handbag while she cleaned) hoovered the bedrooms the male cleaner began to spray the floor with multi surface spray. I had to remind him the floor had not been hoovered. He continued to spray the floor and then dry mop it. So it still wasn't clean. We requested a sweeping brush or dust pan on two occasions and was never given one. During our stay unfortunately our daughter fell poorly and was sick in her bed. I reported this immediately and cleaned up the best I could. I put all linen outside the caravan. The maintenance man thanked me for reporting this as most people don't. He was supposed to change the mattress however said they didn't have any in stock. My daughter slept in our room for the rest of the duration of the holiday but when we left the mattress still had not been disposed of or replaced. So some poor holiday maker would be staying in that same mattress. This makes us feel awful and makes you wonder what you're sleeping in when you stay. Not good!

A lovely clean site, well maintained with good parking. Various eateries. Pizza, Burger King. We chose to eat in the main complex, The table had been booked for each night, we were shown to the table. The staff seemed willing to service, which was pleasant. Meals were enjoyable. All the staff in the venue we pleasant and courteous. The entrance to the site, has a security guard to ensure the checking in / out, etc. This was my first time, and will be going back again. Overall a very satisfying stay, Mid October

Superb! Been going to many Haven locations over the years, mainly Wales. We needed a getaway due to circumstances at home and stayed in Fisherman’s Way Caravan, it was the best we have stayed in during our 13 year visits. Weather was amazing, staff so friendly and service superb. Recommend to anyone with kids!

Lovely stay, the staff are really friendly and the activities we found were great. And we enjoyed the entertainment. We used the swimming pool everyday & our son who is 2 had the time of his life. The only issues that need rectifying is the cleanliness of the caravan. We stayed in the ‘saver/bronze’ but wouldn’t expect the levels of cleaning to drop regardless of which caravan we stayed in. (Have passed comments to haven regarding this) also at one point we thought we lost our haven pass, to be told by reception staff it would be £25 replacement which was steep seeing as we used their arcades, paid for meals onsite & paid extra for some of the activities that are charged etc, thankfully we had traced our steps and found it.

Love this caravan park it’s my happy place. Plenty to see and do and close to the beach and town. I try to visit here every year. The staff are very friendly and the park is secure at night. Great places to eat and drink and a lovely lake within the park to walk around. The staff have accommodated my disabled husband with easy access and accessible caravan. Beautiful place to visit would highly recommend.

Ant infestation all over the kitchen work tops walls and carpets just VILE. Asked to be moved and apparently they were fully booked. I even went out and brought my own ant traps and sprays. Cleaners came around twice to vacuum them up but didn’t really work. No compensation or anything offered. My baby daughter even woke up with bites on her absolutely disgusting. I Will never come back here again I would AVOID If you want a haven park close I would strongly recommend doinford bay 100 times better.

Beautiful static home. Everything else was totally awful. We have just returned from the Haven holiday Village. We were booked into a lovely Mobile home and expected a wonderful week away. That's where we were totally wrong!! From the swimming pool which was absolutely floating with plasters bits of hair and other debris, to the outside pool which was full of gravel; where the resin had reacted to the chlorine, everything looked run down, shabby and dirty. The bar/pub closed at 9.30pm, and on going upstairs to the live lounge to listen to the act, we were greeted with mayhem. Every table was dirty, the floor was covered in plastic bags popcorn and rubbish, and EVERY glass we had a drink from was covered in lipstick marks and smudges. The burger King opened at 2pm and the chip shop opened from 4-9pm. Never mind the children who were hungry before 2pm Oh yes the chip shop, 2 small pies, 3 small chips and 4 chicken nuggets £29!!! The crazy golf course is only made up of 9 holes; and by the 9th one the ball is kept. That's £5 we will never get back.... Everything is extra from the go karts to the bungee to the pedalos and the archery. If you can get a slot you will find that most things tend to break down just as you start using them. The lift was broken the entire time, so anyone with a scooter or pram think long and hard about booking this resort. We paid over £800 for 4 days/nights and the very least we expected was to have a good quality holiday. Sorely disappointed, and very annoyed.

The site itself is great.Amenities also very good.Reception staff awful.Security staff non existent and unapproachable. Arrived on site having booked from an owner to find another car parked in our allocated parking space.Reported to reception and was told it would be sorted.Four hours later returned to reception and was then told security would soon deal with the problem.Had to park on access road overnight, rang reception when they opened and was told Head of Security was now in he office and would deal with the problem We left on the Friday (fifth day of holiday) and car still asked in our space. At no time during the week did anyone contact me and when I informed reception that I was going to park in the allocated parking space next to our own I was informed I would probably have sticker put on the vehicle for incorrect parking. Have now claimed money back from the owner for having no parking facilities as paid for.

Thank you to all Haven staff at Burnham on sea. Just got back from this site, lovely and clean caravan, the site itself was immaculately clean all over. Most of the staff we met were all very helpful, security staff were all great and would help where wanted. Children's reps in club were again fab, kept the children amused in evening and first thing in morning. Great week we will be back.

Stayed here for a week, its a lovely site with good security on gate. Didnt buy passes to use site amenities as they were quite pricey and very busy, so used a local pool instead. Site was well maintained and town locally had everything you need. Supermarket local and plenty of takeaways should you not want to cook.

Long weekend away celebrating a mates birthday, fuss free check in, caravans really nice. Plenty of facilities in the park to keep all ages amused, chippy, burger king, pizza place as well as a pub with a good menu. indoor and outdoor pools, 2 minute drive to the sea front and also has access in foot direct to the beach. Bar and entertainment is usual holiday camp stuff and will keep kids happy as well as arcades. On the whole a nice place to stay.

Complex clean and tidy, pleasant staff, unable to review entertainment as we didn’t use, however if it were included in price I’m sure we would have feathered Havens nest, you are losing income. Unit was o.k but cleaning could be better . A soft bristle broom would have been better than the standard issue for Joe public to use. Lack of basins etc. Lack of blue badge disabled bays were in short supply in general on site. When we booked by phone I mentioned to the lady that we were wheel chair users, this I assumed had been taken on board, however it came as a shock to be placed just about as far away as we could have been. Upon raising the subject with the young man in reception he said it could have been worse,I’ve since looked and fail to see how. I’ve given a lot of thought re the star ranking and nearly gave a three. To give you an idea of our age we are both top 70’s.

We spent 4 days here and we loved it . We have been in the past but this was our best stay . Our caravan was overlooking the lake which was beautiful and quiet, was immaculate when we arrived. Staff were all friendly. Loads to do . Outdoor pool was very busy so there was a que but it went down quick . Will definitely be back. I gotta say the security guards are amazing, they make the night in the club. , dancing and joining in . Brilliant x

We come here regularly with our two young children as we live in Bristol so it's only an hour's drive. Having stayed at many other haven sites, we have to say that this one is probably our favourite. We usually stay in a silver caravan and we've never had issues. Lovely clean vans, usually only a short walk to the entertainment complex too. The staff are great and the entertainment team work hard to make sure all the kids have a good time, our two love it. The drinks are expensive, which is consistent across all haven sites I believe, for example IIRC the Guinness is double the price of the pub next door to the site (£2.99/5.99). They do table service though which has always been reliable and is useful if you have children. Use the Haven Serve app. The site is flat so it might be better suited to families or people with certain disabilities, compared to Devon Cliff for example which is very hilly (but a very good site). They have a restaurant and a few takeaways on site. The restaurant was really good, I would recommend the rump steak, good value and very tasty. Overall I would give it a 4/5, and we will be returning in October and probably March next year 😁

Felt let down and disappointed with the service experience. As long-time visitors we have normally had a good time. This time, however, having informed the site 3 times about a disabled guest. They placed us far from the road, on grass, that their mobility scooter wouldn't reach. They were not very accommodating, only telling us to downgrade or upgrade for an extra fee. Essentially, get stuffed, not our problem. Mash and Barrel wait times for food in excess of 1 1/2 hours. (Hour before starters). Air conditioning was on full whack and often cold in the mash and barrel/showbar.

Came here for 4 nights, 30/10/23 - 3/11/23. Bronze grade caravan that we stayed in was very nice. Arcade was cool but the cashless arcade was quite complicated. The food at the Mash and Barrel was okay, but service could have been better. Close to the sea front, but tide was out most of the time. Overall, good holiday village. Would come back here again.

1st time in Haven Burnham-on-Sea, lovely site, lots of trees, the caravans are well spaced. The caravans themselves are much the same as on any Haven site. The ground is level. The site is situated within walking distance of the town, either through the front entrance and along the road or through the back gate and along the promenade. The food in the restaurant is pretty good and reasonably priced. We will definitely be visiting again.

Really good site. Lots of statics. Really nice touring area, well looked after. Wardens very friendly and helpful, they also do a fantastic job keeping the facilities block spotless. Unfortunately there won't be any more touring pitches after this month. I can only assume it's being turned into more static pitches. GUTTED.

The caravan we were given was not fit for four adults. I may have two children, but they are grown up, and the beds for them were ridiculous. Their beds were not long enough or wide enough for them to be comfortable. It was so bad they had to stay in our relatives' caravans, which were more fit for purpose. Not much better in the main bedroom, not enough room to swing a cat, and the living space was really cramped. We couldn't stay in the caravan as just no space. Had to spend any spare time in relatives' van. Also, hardly any space for clothes, most had to stay in the cases. The site itself was good. Nice options for younger ones, and things to do for slightly older children. The entertainment of an evening, considering bank holiday weekend, was very poor. The only highlight was the bingo. I would not consider returning to this site in the future.

We just left today after spending 3 nights here. A lovely park with plenty to do! There are loads of free activities available if you book on the app. Anita who does all of the nature activities was the real star of our stay, our children loved her activities. She was knowledgeable, fun and had an encouraging message to recycle and look after nature. She works really hard and we really appreciated the time she spent with our children. The pool was cold but not unbearable, make sure to book a slot. Our caravan stank of smoke, our bed had a spring poking out, the TV remote didn’t work well, our gas ran out and we had to wait for it to be replaced which slowed our morning down, the oven was rubbish, it took us nearly two hours to cook some oven chips. Not enough loo roll and no tin opener. But having said that, it was clean and comfortable. The evening entertainment for children was great, engaging and fun. Plenty of space to sit, you can order food and drinks to your table via the QR code which was mega helpful! Staff were generally very helpful and engaged well with the children. We met Trevor the resident fox, who we all loved, there are ducks & swans on both the boating and fishing lake. Overall it was a great stay and we had lots of fun! It is what you make of it and you get what you pay for. They offer so much to do that you’ll never get bored! Fab for kids.

  • 4/5 Lesley E. 7 months ago on Google
Our caravan for the amount paid was good although it did have crumbs/dirt all over the hard floors on arrival and balloons from the previous guests under the bed! It was well placed though. We only used the arcades at night on site and otherwise spent our time eating out or sightseeing. They really need some staff about in the arcade though. We had kids asking us for money and clearly under 18s playing the adult slot machines. Lady on the entrance/exit gate very friendly and welcoming, gave us a wave everytime we came and went. The staff on the ticket exchange in the arcade much less so! Great located park at the end of the prom in Burnham with exit onto the prom directly from the park.

It appears as a hotel stay !! It's a caravan park. And a good one too. Had a short stay in a Bronze standard van. Everything was great. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. About time Internet connectivity was standard on all Haven sites. Then it would be 5stars

  • 1/5 Michelle T. 1 year ago on Google
Majority of the staff were pleasant, but the so called security men in the entertainment hall of an evening were very testing of my patience. I understand that they have to keep an eye out for fighting and drug taking etc, but they have the ability to make you feel unwelcome from the minute you walk in, in fact I believe that if a fight broke out, it would be because of them and not in spite of them!

  • 4/5 Melanie C. 1 year ago on Google
Lovely site for with lots going on although the play area not great. The climbing wall not. In operation although not stated on the site and the crazy golf was tiny and very worn out and tired. The restaurant food was awful and so was the service so would definitely not recommend them. Pool was lovely though and ok for a short break

  • 4/5 Andy W. 11 months ago on Google
First time I've stopped in one of the Lakeside caravans, and the location is fantastic. Great views over the lake and I suspect this will be the location we try and return to on future visits. Didn't use any of the Haven facilities as previous visits revealed these were overpriced and poor quality, but this site is a fantastic base if you enjoy Burnham, so we just go for the Haven hideaway deals without the entertainment passes.

  • 5/5 Deb W. 11 months ago on Google
Had a great stay here! My accommodation was lovely, the facilities were good and the location was excellent. I loved that I could walk to the promenade, park and shops and the station and bus stop. There is so much to do in the area, it’s fantastic!

  • 3/5 biffbiff99 1 year ago on Google
The caravan was very clean (mendip close number 45) on arrival and it was a pleasant place to stay. The beds were very comfortable and it was well equipped. The only negative about the caravan were the ants. They were everywhere around the kitchen area and I do feel more could be done by staff in terms of putting down ant powder or similar insect repellents. We did our best to keep them out by not leaving food around etc but our efforts were often fruitless. The Geese seem to poo absolutely everywhere so just be very careful where you walk!! The site itself is generally clean although the pool area outside the Mash and Barrel seemed to be littered with cigarette butts, cans and other rubbish. It's hard to blame Haven for that though, more the fault of the people staying there who dont seem to grasp how a bin works. The outdoor swimming pool was closed for the final two days of our stay which was very disappointing. This took the shine off things it has to be said. All in all we had a good stay and I felt the price point was about right. Not a bad site and one I would consider returning to.

I had the best time at this park!! The area is just so so pretty, surrounded by trees and greenery!! A lake right in the middle😍 my favourite was the entertainment and I had the pleasure of meeting the seaside squad! The performers were amazing, and Lewis was the star of the show, he really helped the kids (and even the adults) come out of their shells on the dance floor and helped us have the best holiday! Cannot wait to come back :)

Fantastic family holiday, lots of activities and things to do with young children. Great to swim outside in the sunshine too! Ranger Laura was the highlight of our trip! She is so engaging and made all the activities (rain or shine!) Fun for the kids and adults.

Excellent holiday Village. Caravan super clean. Decking and garden furniture not so clean. I phoned Reception and within the hour a pleasant man named Paul came a long and sorted it!. Site extremely well kept. Did not use the entertainment but did use the fish and chip shop and the food was top class. We will definitely be returning.

Just got back from our family holiday. From start to finish we had a fantastic time. Plenty for the children to do and be entertained. Wonderful staff helpful and very friendly. Everywhere was lovely and clean. I can recommend we will return .

4 stars are for accommodation, Mash and barrel give it a miss, nearly empty yet order only half came to table, waitress who served us was asked to wipe table down "answer was no! !" And off she walked stinking attitude and service. Cooks fish and chips frozen chips cold pie thank heavens it was self catering, camp kept clean and tidy shame about food and drink venues.

  • 5/5 Chris H. 2 years ago on Google
The site itself is very well set out. The entertainment is mainly for children. My only real criticism is that the service in the restaurant/bar was really slow. 45 minutes wait for coffee was not good, but I appreciate that many places are struggling for staff after the covid problems.
