All I can say is that I love love love this gym, the best in Oldham. The group sessions are great especially the Forty5 Crew.Everybody is accepted and encouraged regardless of age or ability, we all cheer each other on. Besides the physical activity you can get nutritional advice which is second to none. Ending our sessions with a coffee and a chat with other gyms members is the icing on the cake. I would love to thank Sam, Danielle, Angie, Rob, Katie for their coaching skills love you all. Would highly recommend and that’s why it’s 5 Stars for me xx

Fantastic CrossFit gym with an amazing work out space. Programming is challenging and delivered by amazing coaches. Best hour of my day is spent here. The addition of the Bean Box has been fantastic and a great place to hang out after a WOD. It has the best coffee in Oldham. Reasonably priced and tastes much nicer than the coffee chains. Service is quick and always with a smile from the fantastic Bean Box team.

Best thing I have ever done joining OL1, the Forty 5 classes are the best. I joined in November 2022 and I have never looked back, I am the fittest I have ever been. Everyone is really welcoming and friendly. Love my caramel lattes off Dan after each session.❤️ The coaches are amazing and will push you in each class. Angie is my fav ❤️ I have also made some really good friends through doing the classes. Get joining!!! X

Joined CrossFit OL1 last year and not looked back, in June I have been a member for a year and I absolutely LOVE it! I’ve become stronger and improved technique with guidance from the BEST coaches and the group fitness element motivates you to push yourself even harder which has been great for improving my overall fitness. You can also have PT sessions, nutrition advice and not forgetting fab coffee and yummy protein balls from The Bean Box Coffee! ☕️ It is the friendliest gym in Oldham and Manchester - not bias it’s true! 😆

I have just completed my second block of the mum and baby gym classes and successfully lost a stone of my baby weight in 12 weeks. It’s not only a great work out but also provides childcare so you can have uninterrupted sessions which I’ve struggled to find at other gyms. The coffee shop attached is also a great place to sit and chat to other mums at the end of each session.

In 2019 I needed a new challenge and was recommended to try CrossFit, so had a look for a local gym in Oldham. As soon as I stepped foot in CrossFit OL1 I knew it was the place for me. I was welcomed by the members and have grown to love the community there. I initially felt nervous but soon could see that CrossFit OL1 catered for every level and I was made to feel comfortable from the start. I was getting bored training on my own at the gym and it was a bind working out my fitness plan. The CrossFit way makes it so easy for me with such a busy lifestyle, it's all planned so I can turn up and train hard in that one hour that's for me every day. I don't even have to think about it. I've had extra PT's and nutrition advice along the way to help reach my goals and this is done in a motivational way without putting you under unnecesary pressure and the responsibility is your own. I've made some really good friends at the gym and love the group fitness aspect and the partner workouts are my favourite! I often spend (a lot of) time drinking coffee in the bean box after a workout. It's actually a great way to network too. So if you're the north side of Manchester, give CrossFit OL1 a go. I promise you will love it. I can't recommend highly enough.

OL1 is such a warm and welcoming place. Everyone is so friendly and the coaches are so helpful and supportive. I started on the Battle Cancer program where I was given variations/ options on any exercises I was struggling with which is still given now I'm joining the regular crossfit and fortyfive classes. The encouragement from the members and coaches have given me so much confidence and I'm now loving lifting weights I had never in a million years thought I could do. To top it all there is a lovely cafe where you can sit and chat before or after your workout.

Lovely community, amazing coaches, all the support! Being at OL1 has helped me improve in skill and consistency since joining last November. Whether you feel 100% or 10%, you'll look forward to a session. Love the challenge, inclusivity and spirit each class brings :))) Also... Noon class, best class! xx

OL1 has changed the way I think about food and fitness. Stopping fad diets and calorie counting for nutrition driven meals and focusing on form and progression in the gym not just the scales. I am stronger, healthier and so much more confident. The coaches are brilliant and the other members are great too. I look forward to getting into a session, no gym dread here!

OL1 is an fantastic place with a great atmosphere. The sessions keep exercise interesting and fun and keep you motivated to be stronger, fitter and healthier. The coaches make sure you have a good technique and give guidance on all exercises. Basically it's fab and I love it!

Started training at OL1 specifically for the Hyrox package they had to offer and was instantly welcomed into the community! They train hard but play hard and treat everyone the same no matter what background or current fitness level. Have met some great people since joining this gym and would highly recommend to anybody looking for a good place to train, grow and improve - with a few good laughs along the way.

This is a wonderful gym with a friendly, family feel to it. The owners, Danielle and Sam are two of the nicest people you’ll meet - and Rob (one of the coaches) too. In fact, everyone I’ve met there have been very welcoming and supportive. A great bunch, in a tidy, modern facility not far from the centre of Oldham. Recommended whether you’re new to fitness, or an experienced CrossFitter.

I came to CrossFit in September 2021. At the time I was feeling pretty much down in the dumps about most things. Thanks to the pandemic I’d not worked properly for nearly 18 months and my fitness level was on its knees. I was also the heaviest I’d ever been. After much consideration I finally walked through the doors and I was amazed by what I’d found. Coaches who want to help and offer advice on exercise and nutrition but also members who do nothing but make you feel welcome and encourage you every step of the way. These days I can’t wait to get in the gym, currently attending 5 or 6 times a week. My spirits have well and truly been lifted. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. Come and see for yourselves

My favourite place! Great coaching and friendly atmosphere, suitable for all fitness levels. I’m fitter and stronger than ever since joining OL1, and have made friends for life <3. Added bonus of an oat milk cappuccino from the Bean Box after an early morning workout.

This is a lovely community gym where people of all fitness abilities can attend. The classes challenge your level, it’s fun, professionally taught by great coaches and then there’s a great coffee shop to relax in after. I go before work and it suits my day perfectly. If you have thought about trying it then go ahead. The members and staff are a friendly bunch. We take students in from a Oldham College and they are well looked after.

Joined OL1 a little over 2 years ago, and never looked back. Fitter now than when I was in my 20's. Sam and Danielle have a built a great gym.... great facilities, great coaching team (all home grown talent) and a welcoming and inspiring community. If your thinking about it.... give it a go :-)

Been a member for nearly 5 years and still enjoy turning up everyday. The group classes, whether it’s CrossFit, Forty5 or Mum and Baby, are great for people of any ability with great coaches who support members and are able to adapt the workouts to make sure everyone gets the most out the session. A great gym with a really community feel where anyone can improve their health and fitness

I'm relatively new to Cross Fit and I was apprehensive about joining, not really knowing what to expect. All I can say is I would never go to a 'normal' gym again! The work outs are varied, challenging and enjoyable and the group fitness aspect makes if much more motivational - there is a real sense of community here. The coaches are so supportive and always make sure you have a great workout no matter what your fitness stage is. Highly recommended!

I joined OL1 after a friend told me about CrossFit, something I’d never even heard of before! We went for a induction and a chat with Sam he was so warm and welcoming! I waited a couple of months and then decided to join without my friend which was a massive step for me! All of the coaches are friendly and welcoming! There is such a sense of community, everybody is so accepting regardless of your ability! I have met some amazing friends and can’t thank all of the coaches enough! The bean box coffee shop also does a amazing flat white 😍😍

Absolutely brilliant place. Ran by positive really helpful invested coaches. I’ve do the CrossFit sessions and don’t miss those old boring gym sessions that I used to do. The best gym that I’ve been to and group fitness definitely the way forward. Always nice to chill out after a class too and get a brew in the bean box. A really friendly welcoming community right in the centre of Oldham.
