Not been for awhile - and the wife fancied it. Im disappointed on reflection - food tasted excellent - my gripe is the quantity . Opted for the Mushroom stroganoff with added fillet steak (+£5) on an already £15 dish . Lucky - if there were 2 mushrooms in the dish, and I got a whole 3 pieces of fillet steak in it, too. 6 green beens and a pot of rice . Had I known I was having finedining sized portions, I would have had a starter ! We also waited 20 mins for our order to be took-surprised as it wasn't over busy . Used to be spot on here - good prices -good sized portions, but like a Mars bar, its size has shrunk whilst prices rise.Wifes meal wasn't much better and again £20 I'm sure the owner will defend it ! Shame really - we used to enjoy it here-but I won't be back again .

I stopped here for lunch yesterday. Atlantic prawn cocktail followed by king prawn languini with rocket and chilli, which was pleasantly spicy, and a bottle of bubbles. The staff member was very attentive and professional and the food was gorgeous. I'll definitely return.

Had are wedding meal here on 16th September and was absolutely fantastic. They did us proud nothing was to much trouble and made the day very special. Thank you to all the team at Master McGraths.

Food was lovely, great dinner with an absolutely amazing chocolate fondant for dessert. It was a cold day but did seem a little chilly inside & people had coats on!! WiFi was also very patchy, but you probably didn't need to be distracted from the food really, it was only as I was trying to follow the football!

We visited this place as was recommended by our dearest friends. We book a table for a small celebration of our top man's birthday. What a pleasant surprise we had with the delicious food and outstanding service! Nothing was too much trouble, even though we overstated nearly 2h!! (Not on purpose). A big thank you to Kelly and the other members of staff (apologies, do not know their names) and we will definitely be back soon!

My partner and I dined here on boxing day mainly because I only live about half a mile away and we don't spend Christmas together so boxing day is like our Christmas day. We have visited a few other venues locally over the 3+ years I've been here and most of them have been okay. Why we have not tried here before is something we now regret! From start to finish the experience was outstanding! The staff were polite and friendly and nothing was too much trouble, especially considering I'm a miserable, shorts wearing, scruffy ex squaddie! And then the food arrived... I'm a massive foodie and quite critical but like most folk I've not tried everything I want to try. I'd never had pheasant so opted for the saute of venison with pheasant breast and mash, my partner went for the mushroom stroganoff with a side of crystal bread. Very rarely do we not chat whist dining but yesterday hardly a word was spoken by either of us! The presentation was lovely, the portion size was perfect and the food itself was absolutely divine! Never have I not added salt and pepper to meal until yesterday. I really can't put into words how much I/we enjoyed the experience! The chef even took the time to come to our table so I could thank him personally and what a smashing bloke he was too! I'd told a few guys where I work that we were going and they asked me to let them know what it was like and I most certainly will! Both meals, plus deserts, a pint of lager shandy, pint of inchs cider and glass of really nice port... all for 60 quid! Before we'd even paid the bill we had decided that this will definitely be a regular place to dine from now on. Fantastic food served here in a very friendly atmosphere . Simply the best pub/restaurant food I've ever had . I highly recommend the Lamb Shepherds Pie with vegetables 😋 The owner came to see if we were enjoying our meal and the staff were also very friendly. If your in the area , we highly recommend going to this lovely place . We are definitely going back when we visit my Madelyn's family near Liverpool ...

The staff in master Mcgrath's were very friendly and attentive, the food was exceptional (this coming from one of the fussiest eaters ever) everything was cooked to perfection. It was warm and cosy inside and tables positioned in a way that allows privacy. We will be back as soon as possible.
