This used to be a very impressive medical service, but is now no longer fit for purpose. Why? Because no one answers the telephone, everyone is fobbed off because of the 'triage' system and 'Covid ', therefore it is impossible to be seen, no matter what the problem is. What the hell is everyone there getting paid for doing? To say they are busy is utter nonsense. Friends and relatives who live in other areas of the UK have been able to get face to face appointments at their respective surgeries throughout the pandemic . So why is this place any different? Now it is time for them to either get their act together or shut the place down, because it is not doing what it should. There is more to people's health than covid. It is not just me who is angry. There are many more angry people out there. Members of my family who have tried to get help have been denied any support whatsoever. Disgusted.

0! Don’t even waste your breath signing up to this doctors. They don’t book you in for two weeks and then ring you once for a couple of rings then cut off and put on there notes they’ve rang 3 times and it’s rang out! Shocking service. Used to be a great doctors now it’s very poor with very poor service. My partner was told before Christmas his appointment was not an emergency when he had pneumonia - after complaining got booked in for a telephone call and told it wasn’t pneumonia but later diagnosed! My 3 year old daughter was also let down by not booking her an appointment when her tonsils had no gap in between them and was already diagnosed with breathing problems- receptionist said if she’s breathing she’s fine! Took her to a&e as was unhappy and my daughter was admitted for a 3 night stay and put on emergency surgery list!! So not once have they let me down but several times. The chemist has better advise and customer service. Save your breath and ring 111 instead - they actually care!!

Such a poor doctors when it comes to children and babies. So glad you can diagnose over the phone with no pictures and juat words. Extreamly pothetic appointment booking and theres normally always something missing from your prescription. The 1 star is for the only star who works there which is Dr Dawes. He is amazing and keep up the good work. Get real with your booking system and start seeing your clients. So glad i dont get poorly on a bank holiday, weekend or when your making lots of money dishing jabs out. Misdiagnosed a 16 month year old and refused to see him for 2weeks. Took a 999 call and ambulance to get the correct diagnoses. You need a medical Ofsted!

Rang the surgery this morning my first call as a new patient, to ask for GP call back, to be told in there words they had deducted me on the grounds of me moving 4 miles , wouldn't mind but no call or letter from them to inform me of this,, so for now I have no GP ( and left in pain)

Every time I come I continue to be impressed with the warmth, effectiveness and efficiency of this practice. Receptionists, nurse practitioners, doctors & also the pharmacy - everyone we have come across has been excellent. My wife often says “why doesn’t every GP practice work like this one?” When other people complain about how hard it is to get an appointment, or what they don’t like about their GP we are left thinking “I don’t understand the problem - Measham Medical Unit is fab”!

Yet again the incompetent doctors have forgotten my fekking painkillers when we requested them via email 3 FEKKING DAYS AGO. SO NOW IVE RAN OUT AND AM BACK TO EXCRUCIATING CHRONIC PAIN. The level of incompetence here is actually staggering. You're a disgrace to the NHS.

My 7 year old daughter was referred to the doctors as an emergency from the pharmacy with an infected thumb. We took the referral letter to the docs and were sent away from the surgery with receptionist telling us the doc needs to call us first. Phone call came and I was told that they would issue antibiotics and that I should put a pin in my daughter's thumb to release the poison. I said that I wasn't comfortable with doing that and asked if I could bring her to the surgery . After a lot of convinceing on my side, they agreed to see her. The doc got a sterlised pin and pushed a bit of poison out of my little girls thumb. She didn't wipe her thumb over with any antiseptic before or after and she didn't wear any gloves. The next day my daughter's thumb was even more infected and the infection was spreading down her thumb towards her hand and she had a high temp. We had to take her to A and E, where they lanced her thumb and the infection just poured out. They sterlised the wound and dressed it. Really unhappy about the services my daughter received at the doctor's. She could of caught a serious infection or sepsis. Measham docs used to be brilliant, not sure what has happened recently.

All I can say after many many years of our family being patients here is "Keep up the good work!!" Reviews on here are not realistic, we've been through Covid and probably going to do it again and this team have kept on going whilst we have all been at home ordering on line with our furlough monies. Always answer the phone's and are always polite. The doctors again are excellent 👍 If your not happy get a dose of reality and move doctors (Good Luck!) and let the rest of use and appreciate this superb service. Thank you!!!!

Been waiting WEEKS for said appointment…..now it’s been Cancelled! Ok doctors are ill too…..but it’s took me 29 MINUTES to get through after constantly ringing-then you have to listen to ALL the ‘JARGON’ most of which is nearly decipherable (anyone with hearing problems no chance) this has been like this forever -surely it can be rectified? Now I’m to wait ANOTHER TWO WEEKS! for new appointment…….

Rude and abrupt receptionist and impossible to get an appointment with a doctor. A disgrace to the NHS and all the amazing people that work within it.

Failed repeatedly to follow through on safeguarding referral for my mother. They won't see me to discuss an awful situation

Attempting to get through to make an appointment is ridiculous, let alone then actually getting one! Also, you are not allowed to make an appointment whilst you are in the building. You have to go home and ring. I guess it's easier to ignore you that way.

Was involved in. Hit a run in car park ! Not a safe car park ! Rude staff and not worried about patients, just wants to always turn them way and always waiting over 40 minutes for my appointment

very poor service. to get an appointment with a doctor you have to wait 3 to 4 weeks just for a telephone appointment. If all the doctors actually worked 5 days a week, I suspect that things would improve. It would seem that being a doctor is a part time profession.

I cannot understand why this medical practice doesn’t have a string of 5 star reviews. Everyone is very polite - you can get an appointment the same day if you call on time and they know what they are doing. You would struggle to find a doctors as responsive as this!

I have recently moved to the area and visited the practice for the first time last week. I was really impressed with the booking service, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful and I easily booked an appointment with the doctor for the following week. All of the staff were very pleasant and the doctor I saw, Jessie, was very attentive and reassuring and took the time to listen to my concerns. I was able to have a blood test taken just minutes after my appointment, even though this wasn’t pre-booked which was a big bonus. It is clearly a very well run practice, thank you all for being so helpful.

Shockingly poor service Phones go off at opening time 8.30 and you can only get through when all appointments are booked. No Dr's appointments then available for at least a week and their standard response if its urgent 'go to a walk in centre'

Reception staff have always been so lovely and kind when I have called to schedule an appointment. Midwife here was also fab and felt very much looked after during my pregnancy. Only reason for 4 stars is due to the length of time it takes to get through in the morning but this is not fault of the staff.

We have been with this surgery for 4 years and have never been let down by their service. The receptionists are always polite and helpful even under the extreme pressures they are under. When in need of emergency appointments we have always been able to get one the same day.
