The hotel itself was nice. Everything looks modern and is updated. The beds were comfortable and clean. What really makes this hotel 5 stars is the staff! Every single person we talked to was friendly and courteous. They were more than willing to help with anything during our stay. They also checked to make sure our rooms were to our liking. You don’t see this kind of service very often anymore. I would stay here again just for that!

Love this place! It was easy to get in and out to do the activities we wanted to do on vacation. Everyone was so nice and helpful! The rooms were fabulous. The amenities were great. I cannot say enough good things about our experience. All around superb!

Everyone was so friendly! Even other guests! You know a place is well kept & that the staff is superior; just by looking at the other guests & seeing their level of comfort. Their wasn't a time that I didn't see a member of the hotel staff wiping, sweeping or moping something or speaking with a guest just to see how their stay was so far. And that was just in the lobby area! We had 2 rooms & they were spotless! I expected at least a little dust with new construction being built right next door and the hotel being off of a busy, main road. But there was none to be found! Dave was the sweetest & and everytime we passed him, he made sure to ask if we were in need of anything. He was extremely knowledgeable & helpful! Our breakfast experience was no different than the rest of our stay, it did not disappoint. It was hot, well stocked, and there were plenty of options! To no surprise, the dining area was just as well kept & clean. This will be the only hotel we recommend in the future!

I had an event in town and stayed here because it was closest to where I’d be. The building was clean. Rooms, hallways, lobby and exterior. The breakfast was pretty good. The entire staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, especially Stasha who went out of the way to provide milk in the evening for our toddler. They are one of the few hotels who start breakfast at 4 AM, yes...you heard it right. Amazing stay!!

I had an event in town and stayed here because it was closest to where I’d be; but whenever I return to the area, I’ll definitely stay here again, regardless of convenience! The building was clean. Rooms, hallways, lobby and exterior. The breakfast was pretty good. They even had vegetarian and turkey items available. The entire staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. What a great team they have working at this location! I had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

This is one of my favorite hotels to stay at. I come here for work often and it is always very clean, breakfast is amazing, and it has an exceptional work out room. The hot tub is also a plus as most hotels do not have one. The staff is very friendly and helpful! Stasha for example was very kind and was able to answer all the questions I had. She is a good representative and face of the hotel. Would recommend the hotel to anybody!

First off the staff there was so nice to me, I had stayed for 3 weeks for training on a new job. They all made me feel welcomed and had great conversations 💕 Our maid Tammy is honestly the sweetest lady ever ! I definitely enjoyed the breakfast they provided snd Wednesday night dinner! If I ever come back to WV I will be staying at this hotel again. Thank you guys for making the past 3 weeks very comfortable. I appreciate you, from the early 4 am shifters to the night crew the ladies I absolutely adore I'll miss you ladies

Great hotel. Extremely clean, staff constantly mopping and cleaning and wiping down surfaces. Building was remodeled and still has new feel. Gym is outstanding for this type of hotel. New cardio machines, dumbbells, 2 adjustable benches and weight tower. Had the pleasure of speaking with David while in the gym. David is a true gem and goes beyond his role to make sure guests are happy. He checked on me while cleaning and had a nice conversation, and clearly takes great pride in his position of managing the facilities which have all been top notch. We stayed in the Charleston, WV Holiday Inn Express and it was no where near the cleanliness and friendliness we have experienced here.

We really enjoyed our stay here at this hotel. It was very clean and well maintained ~ many rooms looked modern and up to date. We stayed here while visiting the West Virginia Penitentiary that is in Moundsville. I was traveling with my husband and 15 month old daughter. We asked if the hotel store sold any milk to drink for her bedtime routine, and while they didn't, the front desk staff immediately went into the back and got us a cup. It may sound lile a small thing, but it saved us a trip back out after a long day on the road to buy some ourselves. This kind of hospitality was present through out our stay at the hotel. One staff member in particular, David, took the time to talk with us and made us feel incredibly welcome while we were there. The hotel also offers a complimentary dinner every Wednesday night, something which I've never seen before at other hotels. While we did not get to try it ourselves due to a picky toddler, it both looked and smelled delicious. This hotel was our favorite place we stayed at throughout our road trip through West Virginia. Would definitely recommend it as a place to stay and would stay there again if we are in the area.
