My husband and I rented the Hurley Byrd cabin for our anniversary and absolutely loved our time spent there. The hosts were so friendly and hospitable, welcoming us and leaving us homemade treats throughout the weekend. We added the Romance package, which included a gorgeous bouquet of roses, chocolate covered strawberries and a meat/cheese tray. You also have a hot homemade breakfast hand delivered to your cabin every morning in a picnic basket. The cabin itself was relaxing and very nice, and the view of the mountains was the perfect touch to such a pleasant experience. Plenty of activities to do while there, or just cozy to stay in and relax. Cannot say enough nice things about this place! Highly recommend!

Just returned from a wonderful and relaxing getaway to Piney Hill B&B and the Shenandoah Mountains. Our stay at Piney Hill exceeded our expectations. We stayed in the historic main house and found our room very clean (a must for me) and the bed was very comfortable. The Innkeepers Hank and Wiley are absolutely the best. We have been to a ton of B&B's and these guys don't skimp on the little extras. Hank is an amazing baker and his pistachio cupcakes are killer! Also, each day there was a basket full of homemade cookies, brownies etc. The breakfasts were gourmet and so delicious. Some of the best we've ever had at a B&B. Hank and Wiley are longtime area residents and had fantastic hiking tips, restaurant choices etc. We truly enjoyed their hospitality and the beautiful views from the porch of their inn. We can't wait to return.

Hank and Wiley are the perfect hosts. We can't say enough about the room, the food, the vistas, the decorating, and most of all, Bob and his wagging tail. The little home made snacks are gourmet as is the breakfast. There were directions to our niece's wedding venue on our dresser and they made sure my husband's seat at breakfast was at the end of the table because of his mobility issues. They even remembered I don't like coffee and had tea next to my place at the table. Would definately recommend!!!!!

Words cannot express how wonderful our stay was at Piney Hill! Hank and Wiley provided warm hospitality, thoughtful provisions, and the most amazing breakfasts on the planet! The property, the views, and the cottage are beautiful and exactly what we needed. Thank you both so much!

The breakfast.. oh the breakfast.. What a cozy getaway this was. We have so greatly enjoyed the views from the backporch of the Rosebud Cottage while drinking our morning coffee. The anniversary card left by the caretakers was unexpected and such a heartfelt suprise. Thanks for a great stay. 100 stars.....

Absolutely magical stay! On a calm, serene piece of land surrounded by farms and rolling hills this b&b puts all others to shame. The service was top notch and the food was incredible! The room felt like home. There were little touches all over the cottage that made it feel cozy and ideal. The engagement package was perfect! We will definitely be celebrating other life events here!

A wonderful, B&B located in the countryside outside Luray VA Your hosts have created a warm, comfortable atmosphere. Each room has plenty of space, very comfortable beds, and the amenities you look for in an upscale lodging. Breakfast is scrumptious and plentiful. The hosts are always willing and able to provide excellent suggestions on wineries to visit, things to see and do in the area, and go an extra length in being helpful. Stay here. You will not regret your choice.

Three words: Best. Breakfast. EVER. Hank and Wiley have a talent for hosting. The BnB was adorable, roses adorning the entrance to the front porch, herbs and zinnias in the garden, rocking chairs facing the mountains. We stayed in the beautiful Emma Ruffner Rodgers room which was decked out with every amenity you could dream of. We booked with a horse lovers package and got to go for a super long exciting trail ride less than ten minutes from the BnB, which also included tickets to the gorgeous Luray Caverns. On our third day we spent the whole day hiking skyline, being sure to stop at all the best overlooks, waterfalls, hikes, and rock scrambles that our generous hosts recommended. Hank and Wiley also recommended local restaurants that did not disappoint (but couldn't hold a candle to their home cooked breakfast 🥰) Breakfast conversation was fun and light hearted, both with our hosts and the other guests at the BnB. I highly recommend for anyone, for the person who is looking for a quiet porch sit, to the busybody who needs to cram their day full of fun and action - the BnB was central to everything. Now. I can't end this review without mentioning the breakfast and the home baked treats one last time. Unreal delicious. We are spoiled for life.
