Some of the best pretzels I have ever had - they remind me of ones I’ve eaten in Europe. We appreciated that their pretzels were not overly salty, since they did not use the big, white grains of salt typically found on pretzels. Impressive variety of savory and sweet pretzels. Our favorites were the plain pretzel with the beer cheese dip, the pretzel grilled cheese sandwich, and the cinnamon sugar pretzel with cream cheese dip. The ambiance and service were also great.

Sandwiches were good, but What really shined were the "appetizer" pretzels. The jalepeno cheddar stuffed pretzel was insanely good; like something I've never had before. I could've eaten 4 by myself. They also have a bunch of different sauce options for dipping. Overall a very casual spot. Root beer on draft. @amp_eats (instagram and Facebook)

Made an Order for pickup on the app for a buffalo papadilla. They gave me a barbecue. Didn’t customize or ask for anything fancy. Just a buffalo papadilla which is clearly on the menu. Unless they can’t read it’s very apparent the difference. Didn’t try to return it because I was already 25 mins away at home when I realized it. Sorry I gave them too much credit to get the order right I’ll check next time

If i could give them negative stars I would. Worst restaurant of all time. Rude staff, they never pick up their phone and they gave my food to someone else.

Terrible service with terrible staff that are incapable of taking orders or understanding orders. Good pizza but you just need to find a better location where they’re not slow in the brain.

went in and I have to say I have never had such a sweet and nice person take my order before! Her name was Grace and she was honestly so nice that I had to call the store and get her name just to compliment her on her performance! She greeted me right away, made my order feel like it was something special to her as well and just gave off some of the nicest vibes I have ever encountered. Grace you are AMAZING ! side not she forgot my tortilla... BUT the next one was on her! 5/5 experience :)

I had the stuffed Gouda pretzel and the sausage sandwich. The pretzel was amazing, and I’d come back just for that. Place was kind of noisy at dinner but there is also outside seating which would have been quieter. In general just really good flavors and great place.

Good selection of beer. Tasty pretzels with curious fillings. Excellent location. The service was slowish, but whatevs, it's not a place for fast food. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough about the fantastic experience I had at The Malted Barley. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that set the tone for a memorable visit. The star of the show, undoubtedly, was the freshly made pretzels that were an absolute treat. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the taste exceeded all expectations. What truly impressed me was the diverse range of dipping options available, each one a flavor journey in its own right. From savory to sweet, there was something for every palate. The attention to detail didn’t stop at the pretzels themselves. The thought put into the variations and options showcased a dedication to providing a comprehensive and delightful experience. Whether you’re a fan of classic flavors or seeking something more adventurous, The Malted Barley has you covered. I found myself exploring combinations I hadn’t even thought of before, and it made the experience all the more exciting. Beyond the culinary offerings, the staff played a significant role in making my visit exceptional. Their knowledge and enthusiasm were evident, and their recommendations added an extra layer of enjoyment to my time there. It’s clear that they take pride in what they do and are committed to ensuring every guest has a fantastic time. Overall, The Malted Barley exceeded my expectations in every way. It’s the kind of place that leaves a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to return to continue my culinary journey through their menu. If you’re looking for a place that combines great food, a welcoming ambiance, and a variety of options to suit your taste, this is it. A big thank you to The Malted Barley for a truly outstanding experience!

Really great beer selection. They have a couple house beers on tap as well as a very large selection of local beers as well as other craft beers from around the country. They offer flights. Food wise they offer a ton of different ways to have pretzels both in flavors and use. Who doesn't love fresh made pretzels and beer.

Having frequented the Westerly location several times, I finally made it to the Malted Barley's Providence outpost, and let me tell you, it didn't disappoint! Their pretzel sandwiches were even more delicious than I remembered, boasting perfectly chewy pretzel buns and flavorful fillings. The beer selection was extensive and well-curated, featuring local favorites and hidden gems. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, making excellent recommendations that perfectly complemented our meals. While all the pretzel sandwiches looked tempting, I opted for the meatball creation, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. The tender meatballs were bursting with flavor, and the combination with the melty cheese and tangy sauce was pure heaven. To top it all off, the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming, with a dedicated play area for kids in the back corner. They even offer gluten-free pretzels, making this a haven for everyone, including my celiac wife who also loved her pretzel treat. Overall, the Malted Barley remains one of my top bar picks, and it's the only place I know of that serves delectable gluten-free pretzel sandwiches.

The delivery driver from this store delivered our order to the house with no change once. We were FORCED to refuse the order or else pay over pay by nearly 20 dollars. Ever since this incident we have ordered atleast 3 more times. Each order we have received since then has been ENTIRELY WRONG. It's certainly not a coincidence that the employees here are actually serving us our food wrong ON PURPOSE because we refuse an order one time. It only happens we we call from a certain phone number that we used that night. That being said, this stores employees will actually TAMPER WITH YOUR FOOD if you rub them the wrong way. You have been warned. If any member of management would like to clear this issue up, I'd love for my friend to be able to order her favorite pizza again. Until then we know the employees here will continue to provide us with terrible service out of spite.

This is not our first time to order pizza from this store! We did move a lot around and its no communication between customers and pizza place. Can say this after we didn't received our order called the store and find out that some how our phone number pops up from 8 years ago. But excuse me we been ordering pizza from that store for longest. When we called and complained that we never get our order that stated we will RE MAKE IT AND PLACE ANOTHER ONE FOR YOU. After 3 HOURS LATER we received our pizza!! Yea!! Icy called! No extra garlic batter we paid for... .

I am a frequent customer of Papa Johns and this was the worst experience I have ever had. My order took 2 hours to deliver and showed up missing my wings and everything we did have was cold. When the driver arrived he informed us he was the only driver working on a Saturday night. This is terrible staffing for such a store. I tried to call the store multiple times and only reached the remote call center who takes orders and they were unable to help. They transferred me into a managers voice-mail and we have yet to hear back or receive a refund for our missing items. I filled out the online complaint form which states it will take up to 48 hours to hear back. This is the worst customer service I have ever received and will no longer order Papa John's until this is resolved.

The hand made selection of different flavors of pretzels which are baked to order are amazing. Plus all their sandwichs are made with a pretzel bun. I ordered the meatball pretzel sandwich and it had so much flavor never had anything like it. They also have a great beer and wine selection along with the full service bar. The photo I added does not do it justice but still fantastic.

I went at about 2pm and the first thing I noticed was how loud it was. The music was blaring. Also didn't help that there was a bunch of very young kids running around. The portion sizes are pretty small. I thought my pretzel sandwich was practical inedible due to the saltiness. I know it's a pretzel spot and they are supposed to be salty but I mean this was ridiculous. Overall, if I was to return it would be later at night and just to get singular pretzels since the sandwiches leave much to be desired.

I was in the neighborhood and decided to stop in. It was trivia night and it was fun! The waitress was such a sweetheart and made a good suggestion. I got the parmesan pretzel with the beer cheese dipping sauce and I was expecting the pretzel to taste like a typical pretzel but I'm glad I was wrong, it was SO good, possibly the best pretzel I've ever had. Stop in and give it a try. They also have delicious sandwiches, and the guy next to me ordered a meatball pretzel sandwich and raved about how good it was but he also did have a couple beers and was acting funny haha. Oh, the beers! I don't drink beer but if you're looking for a fun place with your buds to try all different types of beer, this place is for you. They have so many flavors to choose from. The menu they have online is perfect, it shows you a photo of the dish you'd like to try and it has the price right next to it. I really like it here, definitely will be back.

This is a cute place. It was pretty packed when we got there, due to rain and a small alumni event being hosted by Clark University. (Thank you for giving us one of your tables so I could feed my exhausted 7 year old, still grateful <3) Any of the not stuffed pretzels can be gluten free, since it's just toppings. My wife got a normal pretzel sandwich and said it was very good (she's vegetarian, got the hummus one). Prices are reasonable, pretzels are surprisingly filling, unsweetened iced tea was smooth and not bitter at all. My kiddo liked the lemonade. Will definitely go here again.

TERRIBLE SERVICE & FOOD. Too bad....it has a Great location and beer selection. Service was inattentive, snarky and just awful. Bartender (Harrison) was inaccurate and inattentive. (Took my order, offered to swap out the chips that come with May special Sammy, only to upcharge me $4 without informing me until I got the bill). Once food was delivered was never checked on asked for another beer.. etc until I flagged him down asked him if I could have my bill. Bar was not packed. I do 🚫 recommend and will not return.

One of the best experiences! They have the most delicious house made beer cheese. Keep it simple and get the salted pretzel with the beer cheese. You'll love it. Also ask for Harry!!! He's amazing. He is extremely attentive, helpful, and knowledgeable. Highly recommend him for anything you need. He's also great with customer service. You can enjoy everything pretzel related or sip down some DOWNEAST cider, cider donut. You'll be very happy you came. I'm from Massachusetts and this place just screams New England. The New England Clam Chowder is AMAZING!! Thank you for everything.

brought a group of 12 here and had such a great experience. at first we were going to be 15+ so we did make a reservation but it’s not needed for less than 15 people and we were able to be seated on a friday night easily. the servers were very patient with us and made it a smooth night. the pretzels here are so amazing like soooo good. the gluten free options don’t make you feel like you’re missing out on anything. there’s so many gf options. the apricot butter, GET IT, it’s amazing and so innovative. loved the nut free pesto too. will be back again many times.

Went for the first time on a Wednesday evening for trivia. I first ordered a hot chocolate which was pretty bad. Doing something as simple as making the drink with milk instead of water would elevate it tenfold. For my meal I ordered the steak and cheese and the caprese sandwiches priced at $15 and $13, respectively. Both sandwiches were mediocre. The steak was chewy and I couldn't taste the onions, mushrooms, or cheese because the garlic aioli overpowered everything. The caprese ingredients just didn't work as a pretzel sandwich. The simple freshness that makes caprese enjoyable was lost especially because the mozzarella felt low quality. In addition, both sandwiches were small and the default bag of chips they come with felt lazy (the alternatives being a $4 bowl of soup or a $6 side salad!). Overall, I felt like the food was not worth the price and the execution can be improved. I had a great time at trivia night with my friends and maybe that's the point of coming here; not the sandwiches.

This is my go-to spot in downtown PVD. You wouldn’t think “pretzels and beer, classy affair” but these are THE BEST pretzels and THE BEST selection of beers in New England. I’ve even had a New Yorker say these were the best pretzels they’ve ever had. Scratch kitchen. Craft brews. Beer flights. Full bar. Even their New England clam chowders is one of the best I’ve ever had, and that truly surprised me. My staple orders: jalapeño cheddar pretzel with apricot butter dip Meatballs sandwich on an Asiago and Parmesan pretzel Greek salad Malted barley wine, Kentucky bourbon ale There’s something for everyone (even you gluten free folks!)

It says clear as day before you come in to mask up. We’re outside and per the picture it is clearly implied before we walk in. We haven’t walked in and are waiting 30 minutes for our 15 minute seat and have offended the “general manager” by waiting outside where that sign is posted. So we’re being refused service?

Never once have had bad service, food is always beyond fantastic, and beers are always amazing. Only bummer is the punch cards for the t shirts are gone I only needed 2 more before they quite doing that (40 beers and I was at 38), however can't deny they are 5 stars. This will always be my favorite place to eat <3

We tried this location after visiting the Westerly location. Very different layout and vibe in Providence. We had to be strategic about getting seats since it was busy. We found a table where people were leaving but this resulted in the table not being wiped down. So we had a sticky table (ewwww). Otherwise all good except the pretzels cost more in PVD by a few dollars. I would choose Westerly over PVD anyday. My friends liked PVD better.

Malted barley is a great place to hangout with friends enjoying the beers with hand mand pretzels. We were visiting Providence and looking for a place which has good vegetarian options along with drinks. Our search ended at Malted Barley and it was a perfect pick for the evening. Initially we ordered three stuffed pretzels two were jalapeno and one was garlic flavoured. It took a while to get those as they are freshly made but we weren't bothered as we were enjoying the vibe of the place. Once the pretzels were there we just couldn't keep our hands off them. They were finished so quickly as we were a group of 7. Next we placed the same order again with another round of drinks. Finally we placed another order of pretzels. Highly recommend this place for the pretzels it was a unique experience.

Always enjoy this place. Good beer selection and the pretzels/pretzel sandwiches are always fresh and delicious. Update- been a while since we've been downtown. Stopped here after a p burins game. Still great food, the beer was great, and our server Rochelle was great. Reuben pretzel sandwich was really good!

  • 5/5 Robert S. 4 years ago on Google
This place is definitely unique in the sense that most of what you order are pretzels- except there’s a catch of course! You can get these pretzels stuffed with different cheeses and other flavors, as well as order different combinations of their many sauces with said pretzels. The pretzels are amazing and the jalapeño cheddar is definitely one of my all-time favorites here. Favorite sauce probably has to be the honey mustard. They also have many gluten-free options for their pretzels so celiacs will have a ball here! One of my favorite places in Providence and always looking forward to coming back whenever I drive down.

Really friendly staff and the stuffed pretzels are delicious and I love their banana bread beer. Generally have a lot of choices and great place to hang with friends. The staff is a little too chatty for my taste, however really helpful. I have yet to try any of their dessert. Their sandwiches are good but a little too thick for my taste. Basically beer, a simple pretzel, and the spinach and artichoke dip plus chocolate chip cookie dough dip are great!

I just ordered food and requested delivery. Delivery driver called me, I asked for them to come upstairs, five minutes go by and nothing. I called back the number and driver tells me that they had dropped off the food. I hadn’t heard anything, open my door, still no food. I’m asking the driver where he left the food and he’s telling me that it was right in front of the door. Then hangs up on me. I try calling again, voicemail. I call the store and I’m told they’re going to reach out to the driver and give it 10 minutes. 40 minutes go by and I call again. They’re asking me for the story again like they hadn’t talked to me before. Overheard the person on the phone asking the driver and he’s stating he gave me the food. I ask for my food, stating I did not get it and they refuse to redeliver my food saying there is too many orders. She stated they would refund me but I highly doubt that so I’ll be calling my credit card. I did not request contactless delivery and he never confirmed I had the food and was arguing with me. I’ve never dealt with such rude employees or been refused to be delivered to. DO NOT GO HERE. So many other pizzerias in the area.

I absolutely hate seeing all of the negative reviews based on timing and whatnot, I loved Papa John's Pizza when I lived in Rhode Island and like the sauce that came along side of each box and overall, out of all of the pizzas that I have had, it is good all the way to the crust and that my friend deserves a five-star! I now live in Maine and there are other great pizzerias around and I just ordered from Pizza Hut and had half of the pizza and had to throw the other half away when it got cold, it was extremely salty and I thought of Papa John's and how balanced the sodium content was with the cheese👍👍

Rice is very fresh buuuuut such little portions I had to steal a hot sauce in order to feel like I got my money’s worth. Also the server turned my bowl completely on its side when putting into the bag. I couldn’t believe it. Like obviously my bowl is now mush. Mediocre at best.

  • 1/5 Savana A. 3 years ago on Google
I've been to this location twice now, disappointed both times. The first time the rice was way undercooked and I couldn't eat the bowl at all. I ended up throwing it away. I figured I would give it another shot, but I was let down again. The portion was literally half the normal size and the food was about room temperature, despite eating it in my car 3 minutes after ordering. The worker was extremely sloppy while putting things on and the sour cream almost flung onto the counter, but the edge of the tortilla in the bottom of the bowl just barely caught it. When he was folding in the sides to put the cover on, he just grabbed the whole thing and squished it all into a ball and mangled it. Definitely the smallest and ugliest bowl I've ever received. He also gave me a side guacamole instead of hot salsa which was a bit upsetting, because I am not one to speak up. The worker seemed in a rush, but they were very slow inside.

Chipotle is my go to craving spot since I've been pregnant. Came to visit and decided to come to this location. I was in line with my husband when I stepped off to come right back to my spot and when it was my turn to order the girl completely ignored me despite the customers who offered my place back in line. She acted like i didn't exist which made me highly upset. I complained and didn't even receive an apology from her or the cashier who saw the whole thing. Not coming back to this location. I hope the manager that sees this reminds their employees about customer service..

Ordered food for pick up because I was in the area, I got my food went home and when I opened the food it was all slopped on one side of the bowl (you can tell it wasnt from transporting it home because the other half of the bowl was born dry) when I called the manager asked me to go back in or they couldnt do anything for me.....I live further away but went to the target close by and figured it would be easy to just pop by there......doesnt even apologize or show sympathy for this. So unprofessional and they weren't even busy so there is no excuse

  • 1/5 Jim T. 3 years ago on Google
Nothing annoys me more than when you order something and then you get home and 1/2 your order is missing except when you call to complain and you get an automated message and then have them hang up on you.

This was the absolute best chipotle I’ve ever been to. The food was great, fresh, and they put a lot in the bowls. The staff looked happy and smiled a lot, they were so nice like people should be. It was clean and everything was stocked up. It was the best experience.

I was truly amazed at how disrespectful and rude the girls working here were being tonight. Professionalism is no longer a thing. Chipotle please do better at hiring people who treat customers with respect. I don't like how rude they were.

There were 4 of us in our party. I had a salad with no beans or rice, but it had chicken. I was the only person in our group that had chicken. Two others had beef and one was a vegan. I spent the time one hour after dinner for two days running to the bathroom. I won't be visiting this or any other Chipotle ever again.

The food is mostly well-cooked here. I've had more problems with finding hard grains of rice in my food here than any other Chipotle, but that's really the only cooking problem I've found. The bowls are pretty strongly underportioned. I got sick of getting dirty looks for asking for more beans, salsa, etc, so last night I just accepted what was given without comment. My order was a bowl with brown rice, black beans, steak, light tomatoes, corn, cheese, lettuce. I attached a picture of the untouched bowl so you can get an idea of what that added up to. This place is great is you want a very light meal, but I would avoid when hungry.

An incredible venue with a vast selection of beers (mostly from New England) and incredibly helpful staff. The pretzels they make cannot be beat--it was suggested to us to try the jalapeno and cheddar stuffed pretzel paired with the apricot butter and it was out of this world! That combo alone will keep me coming back forever. We also had the asiago and parmesan pretzel paired with the beard cheese and for meals I had the house salad and my fellow diners had the meatball sandwich (in patty form) and the burger--everything was delicious! Sadly, they were out of chicken for me to add to my salad. There are always so many beers on draft and I'd like to follow The Malted Barley on Untappd to be able to see what new beers are coming in for me to try next. I noticed a large order of pretzels for catering takeout and now I know what I will be bringing to all future events. Saw a sign for trivia on Mondays at 7:00 p.m., I can't wait to go back soon to play and to try more of their pretzel options and awesome beers.

Bar was super packed on the Friday night after Thanksgiving, like standing room only. Somehow we got a table and pushed past younger and older people, college students to parents, all ages of customers. Corner table, could barely hear my friend, but that didn't matter too much. Very quickly we were greeted by a young, cute waiter who gave fantastic beer suggestions. This place is known for their soft pretzels. Omg. So damn delicious. I got a cinnamon one, my friend a spicy one. I could've eaten three. I want to come back for another fun night here very very soon.

I love this place. Their pretzels are amazing and there are so many fantastic options. I was recently recommended Apricot butter with my Chipotle Gouda stuffed pretzel and was blown away. I'll definitely get that again. Their beer list is impressive and they also make great drinks.

  • 5/5 Zeus M. 2 years ago on Google
As somewhat of a pretzel aficionado I was curious to see how malted barley would elevate the humble pretzel. Boy did they deliver! Of course they hand make them all in your usual topping flavors like everything or garlic or cheddar. But then they go ahead and have a specialty flavor each month. We went first during brie and cranberry month and I could've had three! They even make pretzel sandwhichws--we had a blt last time on a bacon cheddar pretzel and it was decadent and divine. Great drink prices and a very wide offering and this has become our new favorite lunch spot. The special monthly pretzel is enough excitement to keep me coming back at least once a month!

We stopped in for a flight. All 4 beers we tried were excellent and we probably could have made 3 or 4 more flights of beers that interested us. Excellent selection. We didn't have any food, but the menu had some unique options we would have been interested in. Service was friendly and fast. Atmosphere was laid back on a Sunday afternoon.

What a great place to kick back and get really good food, drinks, and play Foosball. Really pleased with the gluten free pretzels and food options. We had a great time the first time and went back a second day with a friend while we were in town for the Providence marathon. I highly recommend this place for the food, service, and overall ambiance.

Delicious!! The pretzel sandwiches were very tasty and the service was great! Nice outdoor seating as well. Will definitely be returning to try the dessert menu next time I’m in Providence!

I had an amazing BLT with Chipotle sauce and some cookie dough dip for a treat! The gluten free pretzel was very good and our server, Heather, was the best. They have great Celiac precautions, noting allergens and double checking everything, and it is brought out in a red tray. It was nice to dine outside and people watch.

Atmosphere: 4 We got there at 9:00PM for dinner, and it was super noisy inside. I understand that it's a bar-restaurant, but something about the acoustics inside makes the sound bounce around a lot. The restaurant has tons of seating and a sizable bar as well. Their menu is on their coasters - use your phones to bring it up with the QR code! Plating/Portion: 5 I ordered their house salad and soup du jour. My salad portion was huge! The salad was plated with colorful vegetables, dried cranberries, mandarin slices, etc. I shared the bowl of soup with my husband, and the soup was packed with ingredients. Flavors: 5 The vinaigrette for the salad is light and perfectly complements the rest of the salad ingredients. The soup and salad comes with pretzel croutons which is awesome. It added a nice crunch to the salad. Since the restaurant has so many pretzel dishes, I thought it was really creative that they found a way to include the pretzel in their salad and soup as well. My husband ordered the pretzel stuffed with gouda and chipotle paired with the pesto aioli sauce. I tried a bite and it was delicious. The flavors were well balanced and delicious! Definitely worth going!

This place is fantastic. Nice bar with a casual atmosphere. However what sets this place apart are the pretzels. They are absolutely fantastic and have me keep coming back for more. My personal favorite is the jalapeno and cheddar with the guacamole dipping sauce. They also have a pretzel waffle served with ice cream and Nutella for dessert which I also highly recommend.

  • 5/5 Pebb 1 year ago on Google
Pretzels are amazing plain or in a sandwich, crunchy on the outside soft and steamy inside. Great flavor. We had the chicken buffalo soup and was exquisite, very creamy and not too spicy. The waffle pretzel may sound weird but it's delicious, a churro like dessert with the signature pretzel dough. Overall great place for lunch or dinner.

This is a great spot to stop in for a beer. The atmosphere is very welcoming. The staff is very friendly. They have special nights like trivia night that are a lot of fun. More importantly, the pretzel sandwiches might be the best I've ever had in my life. The Roast Beef might be one of the best sandwiches of any style I've ever had. I can't wait to get back to Providence literally to get a Roast Beef pretzel sandwich here!

  • 4/5 Donna L. 1 year ago on Google
Went here for lunch on a Sunday. The food was delicious. The hummus sandwich on a pretzel was filling. The house salad would have tasted better without the blue cheese. I wasn't able to finish it because of the cheese. Other sandwiches ordered that day were the grilled cheese, the caprese sandwich, and the burger. The only disappointment was that the chips came in a bag and were not homemade. Will be going back.

I was in Providence for a conference and just happened to walk by The Malted Barley during a break. I had the best soft pretzel that I’ve ever eaten. I was torn between two pretzels and stag gave me the amazing suggestion to pair them up. Jalapeño cheese filled pretzel with bacon and cheddar top. They also recommended the apricot butter. The pairing was fantastic. Top it all off with a blueberry cider and it was a fantastic meal. Beyond the great suggestions, staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

Service is super friendly even at midnight! We came just before the kitchen closing and the server took our order just in time. I ordered a tomato and mozzarella stuffed pretzel with pesto. The pretzel itself has crunchy outside, soft inside, and good salt ratio!

Went for a quick late night dinner and loved the food. I ordered the Reuben and it was fantastic. Slightly too much pretzel salt on the “bun.” Will definitely be back.

Came on a trivia night and despite being packed the server completely rocked it. The food came out pretty fast too. The staff were friendly and they could accommodate our very large group. The selection of beers on tap is fantastic and the pretzels (especially the dessert pretzels) were delicious and different. If I lived locally I would definitely come back.

I’m 3 hours away from this place and went here 3x. Wish it’s near me though. Not a fan of pretzels but I Fell in love with stuffed pretzels 🥨 jalapeño and cheddar dipped into apricot butter or spinach artichoke is my favorite. Will always go back to this place if I have a chance to do it. Service was great! And they have good selection of beers!

  • 4/5 Ollie M. 7 months ago on Google
The food was very high quality and the service was solid too. The atmosphere was great for a night out very packed and very fun social vibes. The food was very overpriced for the portion sizes (super small) and the sides, potato chips, were literally the same as you’d get from a vending machine. A friend said they could’ve at least opened the chips up and put em in the dish to pretend they weren’t from a bag. I’ve been here before years ago and the portions were much better. I was shocked how far the presentation & portions have fallen even though the food did indeed taste great and we had a good time. The Malted Barley is still good for viewing sports and trivia. They stay open late too. It’s not terrible it’s just disappointing. Success and popularity have pushed them towards the mid side of good

Ordered the meatball sandwich for delivery, as well as the cinnamon sugar pretzel. The meatball sandwich was heavenly- salty with the cheese, but sweet when dipped in the marinara sauce. The meatballs were juicy and delicious. Portion looked a bit small at first, but actually ended up being perfect. Would definitely buy again.
