One of the best reserves for family activities and dog-friendliness is beside this Swan-Canning River bank. A great place to bring visitors. It has a public toilet, public facilities and a nearby good playground. One can have a picnic in the huge open areas or under the huge old trees. Lots of free parking lots. Enjoy! (2022-09)

Great place to visit. Plenty of space for all. Great location over looking the Canning River. Has 2 small areas of play equipment for kids. Dome cafe which has indoor or outdoor seating. Also the Dome cafe has a function room to hire. Plenty of parking for either cars or boats. Has a boat ramp.

Great spot on a warm evening, Swan River calm and sparkling with city lights. Coffee and apple pie, so good, and the girls serving us just delightful. Beautiful place to pop into on way home from a busy day ๐Ÿ˜

Great little spot! There is a great little play area for the kids at the car park area. There is another play ground like a nature play area near Dome. There is a little beach area to sit on and watch the kids play either in the sand or on the shoreline. Paying customers can sit in Dome. It is also a boat ramp. Iโ€™ve easily got lost watching boats and JetSkis go up and down the river. Dome being there is a great little asset as you can get a drink or feed with an amazing view. Dome also provides takeaway. Public toilets are located in the car park with disability access also. Dome has their own toilets also. There is 3 ACROD parking spots. Itโ€™s been known that people park in the yellow stripes. It is a busy area so at times parking can be hard. There is some undercover shade huts and a couple of benches around. BYO blanket, chairs or own shade options is recommended. There is BBQ facilities but unsure if free or coin operated.

Delish food, good waiting table service, great outdoor view. Great place for family. Although you got to watch out for the seagulls or pigeon that is constantly staring at you and your food. Make sure to hide plastic or tissue after you eat to avoid those poor birds from being choked by eating. Also don't feed them. They're like vultures, try it if you want to experience it.

Lots of bench seating available and paths across the grassed area handy for prams, bikes, and wheelchairs. A BBQ and table setting with a jetty neaby for those who want to fish. Dome Cafe is located here for a coffee, breakfast lunch or dinner. Heaps of parking and a good playground. It's a beautiful spot to watch the sunset set.

Lovely lunch get-together, plenty of shade and grass, lots of parking and a beautiful view of the water

Love the view. Good coffee, food and seevice. We had a rather big group and we were well accommodated in a separate room which opened onto the rest of the restaurant thru an arch. However it was quiet, spacious and just so lovely.

Weird parking in front of Perth's ruling elite. Jellyfish and jetski families. Sandcastles. Too much middle aged lycra. Bbq was hot enough for sausages. Someone saw a dolphin. No one got bitten by a bull shark. Not a terrible last minute place for a birthday picnic.

Met some friends here for the first time. It was so nice and clean and a lovely walking path around the lake. Toilets are clean. Plenty of parking. Playground great and plenty of shade with all the large trees

Sitting right on the river! It's beautiful! Nice park spaces and a playground for kids! Dome Cafe is there too but that's it it's fairly quiet. The drive there is pretty too! Definitely check it out!

One of my favourite spots in Perth, with a DOME cafe, gorgeous scenic playground, boat ramp, children's play area, lush grass for those lovely picnics, and big trees for shade on those hot days and stunningly beautiful walkways to explore along the river. Whether a quiet stroll, ride of your bike, breakfast lunch or dinner, Deep Water point will always be a winner!

Lovely location, lots of happy people and families enjoying themselves. Kids friendly with playground. It was very busy so service was extremely slow. One person in front of me had an extensive list that totalled almost $200. Have to wonder if it wouldn't be worth having two queues. One for coffee only for those that want to Take and Go. Maybe even table service for food and coffee orders.

Its a park over looking the river. Plenty of water craft about on the weekend. Some swings etc for kids. Parking is free for 2 hours with ticket. Not bad picnicking spot. However parking is at a premium.

A pleasant place to visit with little children. They can play on the small beach, run around on the grass, or climb about on the play equipment. A Dome cafรฉ is situated behind the little beach area, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, and a full Dome menu. Parking is free, with a ticket, for 2 hours.

The parking is a problem, but it is a beautiful spot to spend some time. We ate at the dome Cafe, which is very popular and busy, and enjoyed watching a poor of dolphins swim by while we ate our meal. A great place for families with a great playground and plenty of grassed areas to sit and enjoy the scenery.

Lovely spot but I really dislike that the council introduced having to get a ticket for car parking. It's also ridiculously busy most times here so either be prepared to not get a car park or have to street park and walk to the main spot. The playground is good, always packed with kids.

Wonderful place to have brunch on a warm, cloud free day. It's also family and dog friendly place and the ground are well maintained. Staff are also welcoming, no airs and graces from any of them. My battered fish was delicious, however the batter was a bit dry and the chips could have been a bit hotter. But considering we came at lunch, those were the o ly tiny issues. I encourage everyone to go and enjoy it all. It is a wonderful place..๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Wind down place , feel close to nature , Excellent park to enjoy with family , friends or by yourself or just a relaxing picnic place. Keep close to Natureโ€™s heartโ€ฆ and break clear away, once in a while, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit cleanย โ€. โ€• John Muir
