Experienced the absolutely worst and most misleading service in a nail salon today at, Vic Park Nails and Beauty. I returned with my Mother after a rather average experience last visit. But, decided to give this salon another go. On my first visit with my Mother the staff member started cutting her nails without confirming desired length, mum immediately asked her to stop and re explained she didn't want them that short. The business offset the mishap by putting on two acrylics with tips at no charge. Upon returning today. Mums two acrylic nails were brutally removed using a plastic nail extension and no other method (aside from also using cuticle cutters), resulting in her nails being ripped off with the acrylic extension, removing any length with it. The staff member put tips on as it seemed she was aware she was at fault. They also asked mum to pick a colour as normal. Mum picked a shiny polish, seemingly the same that can be bought at chemist warehouse down the road (see picture) as a "regular polish". When I went to pay I was firstly shocked to find out the staff were charging me for mums tips. I refused as the staff member had not only cut mums nails way too short last time, but then ripped off the tips they added to resolve the issue last time. Resulting in mum losing any length and caused some very obvious damage to the nail. When the staff member argued, I asked "How do you normally remove an acrylic nail tip and not cause damage?" She stared at me blankly and begrudgingly said she wouldn't charge for the tips added to resolve the damage the staff member caused. Then, I was told it was $15 for mums colour! At no point did anyone tell mum (I was sitting next to her) that the colour she chose would cost extra. It was just a sparkly colour that mum always liked to pick. You cannot charge someone extra for something if you don't even point out there's a price difference in the first place! I've attended this salon multiple times solo before bringing mum in to which the staff have always been up front of any extras. I can't help but feel they saw an old lady and decided "she won't even ask and will just pay". I am SO glad I was there to look out for my Mum today. Trying to sting a pensioner to fix your mistakes, and not disclosing extras until its time to pay is unconscionable conduct. I won't even get into the eye rolling of the staff, the clear disdain they had for us or disgusting attitude. I think I've made it pretty clear the appalling service your business provide. **UPDATE** The polish they tried to charge EXTRA for, is now peeling off after a few days. 🙃

I came to this place desperate, my nails were falling apart due to too many other places that ruined them, with poor products, poor attention and no experience at all. I had a shellac on my nails for less than a week and it was bad, these ladies with their kindness and professionalism helped my nails to grow back stronger and suggested me acrylic instead of shellac to help reinforcing my ruined and damaged nails. Let me just say that it’s been over 14 days and my nails didn’t break, acrylic didn’t even crack or anything and I’m still the happier person on this planet thank to them and their beautiful job! I work in a cafe so constantly in contact with chemicals, coffees, food and all other stuff that can damage my manicure, but it did not happen this time! I am looking forward for booking a second appointment with them and gonna try their pedi as well. THANK YOU TEAM! You are absolutely the best shop I’ve been in Perth and I won’t go anywhere else! Yes, I can confirm they even offer you tea, coffee or water, but most importantly they offer you a professional service and you pay for good quality here. Their experience is notable and their advice is precious. It was my first experiment so I will add more feedback but so far, I highly recommend this salon! I’m posting a picture of my actual nails after 16 days with acrylic on it. So you can see that it is still immaculate.

I did’t know what i want to do with my nails. I’ve been quite fussy but they paid so much attention to detail and patience to help me make up my mind. They are so friendly, welcoming and lovely to discussion. Highly recommended

First time doing nails and I’ve chosen the perfect place to start. The customer service was so great!! The person asked if I needed some water and then gave me a variety of choices to choose to have as fake nails. I had a particular design I saw on the internet and they did it so beautifully. Definitely the place you want to go :)

The staff working there are very rude. Upon arrival the lady seemed overwhelmed and started my SNS looking at her clock multiple times. She was hurting my fingers through her nail machines to complete it and run asap. When I shared the feedback politely she snapped at me saying- "this is the way I do it" and completed my SNS within 15 mins. Have never seen such an unprofessional staff in any other nail parlour. The only thing you have to do is treat your customers well, which they failed to do. I find other reviews very helpful where people have shared similar reviews of their unprofessionalism and given 1 star rating. Be wary and mindful before you plan to step in this nail parlour. Don't refer to 5 star reviews as it seemed to be placed with forge ids. They also keep cheap nail products which is evident when your nails are done. Won't recommend to anyone.

I am so annoyed My nails are so short and ugly couldn't get the colour I wanted as it would look stupid as they are ridiculously short . Yes was asked if I wanted shorter and I did agree as I have them just over my fingers and it's been 3 weeks. Which I have said every other time I have been there. These are so short that my finger tips hurt and I have a high pain threshold. I did have another appointment at a another salon closer to home But I thought I would stay loyal to Nails and beauty as a quality place and friendly But today I don't feel I got quality , Except for the wonderful Lady who waxed me today .that's the only reason for the 3 stars . Told person at till I wasn't happy And she just told me nice colour and you will have long nails when you have more time and next time for Christmas. I really need to think about a next time.! Which is ashame Hmmm

Stumbled upon this place. Good service. The lady who served me was patient, and did a good job. I had an acrylic with a color I chose, but it didn't end up to my liking. She suggested me another color instead, remove and redo my color - phew thank god it turns out to be way better!
