i booked this venue for a wedding event. The venue is spacious and looks good from the outside. the inside is a cross between a banqueting venue and roller skating rink. very nice LED lighting. Sue the manageress was pleasant and helpful, however there was an issue with communication. Everything i discussed with Sue, i then had to e-mail the owner, Zaf; who would then take 2 or 3 days to reply and would only answer half of my questions on the e-mail, resulting in having to send further e-mails. this whole process was very frustrating. A week before our event, having already paid the full amount, the owner insisted i book a waiter service through him which meant an extra charge. When i refused to book his waiters he threatened to cancel the booking. bearing in mind this was a week before our event. on the evening the venue was very cold and our guests complained, the heating was not switched on despite numerous requests. i would give zero stars for the owner if i could, however Sue the manageress tried her very best to make sure that our event ran smoothly on the night. 4 stars to Sue

Me and my partner were looking at this venue for our wedding but didn't go for it in the end. We had Sue show us around and give us prices etc which then were changed by Zaf, we were then told we had to do everything through him but his communication and customer service was terrible, he never answered our questions and when we chased he was rude about giving us any explanation. We decided to go with another venue that cost alot more but the customer service has been there from the beginning, its been stress free and all questions have been answered, we didn't want a stressful day and thought that we would have one if we booked with rochdale royale. Glad I didn't book with them. The little communication we had with Sue was great, just wish she over seen it all.

Absolutely awful customer service. Refused to turn the heaters on despite numerous requests. Venue was freezing. Throughout the process, from booking to the day of the function, we kept being passed around between manager and owner with no apparent communication between the two. Whole experience was extremely stressful. Would not recommend. Would give 0 starts if I could.

My children went to their friends birthday party they absolutely loved it. Really good atmosphere. The birthday girl was made a fuss of, which is nice to see. Pity games, lessons for learner skaters, food, disco. Amazing birthday party. Friendly, bubbly staff, but best of all honest! My daughter left her hand bag at the party, it had her phone inside. I phoned them up when we realised, they told me they had found it and would keep it for us until we collect it. 😊

Great staff, not too expensive. Fun experience for anyone who enjoys rollerskating. Usually not busy and diverse openning times in School Holidays. Offers a skate class for beginners or for advanced skaters, and a special offer when you book 10 skate sessions in a row.

Took kids to the segway disco, they found it a little boring for there ages. Only aloud in one direction food and drinks are a bit on the expensive side. Toilet facilities available

A fabulous venue that we chose for our reception From start to finish we were treated professionally and with great customer service. Nothing was to much trouble. Made a few alterations and everything was accommodated as we wanted. The organisation was perfect and we experienced a truly excellent evening. The team were very professional and welcoming throughout. Definitely a venue to recommend!

Fantastic Venue - suitable for any occasion, was really surprised, not like the 80's skating rink you may be used to or think it would look like. It Would make a fantastic wedding venue the hall is magnificent, would seat up to around 500 people I would say. There is also a smaller room upstairs which could accommodate around 150 with its own stage and matched décor to downstairs. If your looking for a venue you MUST go and take a look. Staff are great and really professional and helpful.

Brilliant place to skate, staff are all so friendly and it’s like skating in a beautiful ballroom. I cannot rate it high enough for the confidence they have given my children at skating. It is great value and I love that they offer a training session every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Venue is nice but I would not recommend to anyone to book this venue for a wedding or any other function. If I could give 0, I would do as does not deserve 1 star!!. Awful communication skills and poor management. Zaf is awful at customer service, not helpful or understanding in any way and refused to accept any mistakes made on the day made by the staff ad himself. It was cold at the venue, all guests were complaining, no heating was turned on, awful waiter service who took forever to serve the food and appeared to not know what they were doing. All of the above agreed by guests and other professionals who helped to make the day special.. Sue, the manageress who was present there throughout the event, was not helpful at all and very rude. After all this, Zaf kept £150 out of £500 deposit for no reason as nothing was damaged or delayed by us! and refused to return full £500!!
