The BEST farm I have been to so far. The staff are extremely welcoming. You enter at reception where you then see a food cafe with LOTS of seating areas. To your right is a role play area for the young children to play and entertain themselves. THE FARM is fantastic. With beautiful animals such as little ducklings, guinea pigs, rabbits, hedgehogs, baby lambs, cows, alpacas, giant tortoises, baby ducklings and many more. Most of the animals can be petted and is very well organised with a daily itinerary. Food for the animals can be bought online or in reception. The day goes very well when following the itinerary as each activity has a time slot, nothing gets missed and this ensures the best productive day at cockfields farm. Additionally, they have a large sandpit/beach area with spades and buckets provided and baby huts for the children to play in. Further on, is a bouncy area for jumping, adults can also join in and is so much fun! Behind this is a little play area with Swings, slides, climbing frames and much more. Little toy tractors as well as REAL tractors are available to use and sit in. Tractor rides are also timed where staff provide real carrots to the children to feed the alpacas. Ice cream can also be bought at the front and little rides to entertain the little ones. The toilets are clean and hand wash at each animal station is available. It really is the best farm and I highly recommend to everybody!

Family of 4 plus baby £52 Animal food £1.50 X2 £3 X4 packets of crisps £4.80 X4 Drinks £5.90 Total before we even enter the farm £64.70 This place is amazing for the kids and a family day out but the price to get in is a bit over priced if you ask me. And the price of the food is outrageous £5 for a plain Hot Dog £5.50 for a cheese toastie come on why is it places that are great for a family day out ask for ridiculous prices just to eat..... Now onto the good part staff are brilliant and friendly and the kids can get up close to the animals and pet them and even clean them Loads of new activities to go Tractor ride, carousel, massive kids play area, you could easily spend 3 plus hours here but I'd honestly take a pack lunch with you and not take out a mortgage just to eat Cut the prices down and this would be a 5 star place

A good place to take the kids for a few hours. Not a massive farm so can be done quickly. Food isn’t bad with plenty of choice. Cuddle corner is good to pet some animals. Could do with more toilets as they get very busy Ample parking on site and friendly staff. Nearly everything is flat too which is good for older people.

Great day with santa, not cheap but spent 3 hours there and the children loved it, lovely experience and the staff made the day

Quite disappointed when we walked through the door. Staff tried their bests and were very friendly. Didn’t look very Christmasy. Santa was brilliant. A lot of waiting and queuing with nothing for the children to do. ( Elf’s work shop, waiting to see Santa) The animals were great, feeding, stroking , with free food. The show was okay. The carousel was closed for some reason. The toilets were ok. The toy workshop was good . It needs to laid out better with a route through or arrows. Been to a few venues before and they are much better organised. No wouldn’t recommend this one and expensive for what it was .

We absolutely loved it! We had boys of 11, 10 and 3 and they all had such a fabulous time! The staff were all wonderful with the kids and the animals. We haven't been for about 4 years and the difference to what the place is like now is unbelievable. Great value for money too. Thank you! We'll be back. Especially for the next foam party! Best thing ever 🙂

We had a fantastic day. No problems with bringing your own packed lunch and you can leave it in the car and go back for it. Nathan on the tractor was brilliant with his animal talks telling us interesting facts about our favourite animals. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the animals they were handling. The pirates were great fun, impressed with Pirate Jill remembering all the children's names even hours later and the foam party was a great end to the day. You can tell everyone who works here loves it and if they don't they definitely don't let it show.

It was my first time there. My grandchildren loved it, especially feeding the animals which looked very healthy. Important to wrap up well in the winter months. Good indoor play area with shops, a school room, vets, and a stage. Both the three and a half year old and the 15 month old loved playing shops etc and making new friends. Big sand play area, a carousel and a big bouncy dome outside.

Came away feeling like we had a great day out. Arrived there in the morning and first impressions were it was a bit small for what It cost however my opinion soon changed, it had lots of little areas spread around and the quality time you get with the animals is great. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about the animals they were great with kids. We went on a week day in term time so it was quiet and the girls who handle the animals gave alot of time to my lad making his experience nice and personal, they went out of their way to show lots of different animals they had and allowed him to get up close to them all. I also had a blast holding some of the reptiles. All the animals seem happy in their environment and well cared for and I would definitely recommend this farm.. I came away feeling like it was money well spent on a great day with my son.

Fab farm for the family. We went early morning and it was a good time to visit. You can feed the animals, pet them. They had a snow slide which the kids loved and they currently have foam party on around 3pm but we had gone before this. They have an indoor sand pit area and an outdoor one too, buckets and spades all there so didnt need to bring ours. The cafe was great and pizza was nice for the kids dinner. They have a great little gift shop selling toys on the way out. Kids had a great time.

Cockfields is well worth visiting. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. We visited Christmas Eve, the events was amazing, so much fun and involved children participating so well. Well worth the money, will be visiting again👍👍👍

I think it's a bit expensive for what it is. There isn't that much to do inside, 3 attractions and 2 little playgrounds. 20 mins and you'll have seen all the animals. I'm giving this 2 stars for the animals as they are lovely and well looked otherwise you're better off going to a nice park for free.

We have been several times over the years and we always spent the full day there. This time I had a 7 and a 2.5 year old and they were entertained from start to finish. A couple of short term additions were very much appreciated too, especially the foam party. We'll done Cockfields farm. You continue to evolve.

Avoid at all costs, get yourselves to Smithalls where you can actually handle the animals not just poke them on a table which they were clearly terrified of.

Nice place to visit. A lot of cute animals, kids can get very close to them. However, choices in the Cafe and number of toliets are not enough in peak periods. All the staffs are nice.

Amazing place with great facilities! Lots of activities to keep you busy with various playing equipment, including a play area, a bouncing pillow, make believe play and more! My kids and I really love it here and wouldn’t hesitate going again. Farmer Dawn was brilliant also! So patient with the kids and even let them have an extra hold of the snake when we missed the initial meeting!

Been here a few times this is the Second Halloween we have been to here and we love it - perfect for little ones especially through the week it's quiet. Lots of time to explore and adventure around tractor ride- park / playground / animal feeding - jumping pillow - pumpkin picking (different activities depending on the time of year) - cuddle corner - reptile room and animal encounters. Personally I would reccomend as we've had such good experiences and the staff are chatty - helpful - and friendly.

We all had an amazing day at the grinch event yesterday. The ‘games with grinch’ session surpassed expectations. He was absolutely brilliant and was in full character at all times. The costume was brilliant also. He even made up for the extortionate gift shop prices haha.

Start with the positives first- We came on the £5 ticket offer, and the staff very kindly allowed us to swap tickets from last weekend to this weekend due to the weather warning last week which was against their T’s and C’s. Everywhere is very clean and the staff were generally very friendly, especially in the Creature Encounter room. The food was fairly reasonable, it’s always expensive at these places. It was just ok. However when we were there there was a free kids meal with each adult meal purchased which we thought was brilliant. I have twins so therefore a double buggy and some of the doorways were SO tight, I’m surprised it didn’t get damaged. I saw multiple people with double buggies and I’m disappointed things like this weren’t taken into consideration. I imagine wheelchair users may also struggle. The free carousel was a nice touch, and brilliant sand play area. Large jumping pillow and quite a small park area at the back. Considering this is a farm, there were hardly any animals. The barn had all the animals shoved in one place although well looked after. One barn of petting animals and that was it, plus a reptile room. If we went during normal prices, it would cost £75 roughly for entry as a family of 5, including 2 toddlers who didn’t really even get out the pram. Even at £30 all in today I didn’t feel value for money. It just felt like there was nothing to do! Just far too expensive. No donkeys, no rides on a tractor etc.

We've lived around the corner for 12 years but visited the farm for the first time today with our 6 and 8 Yr Olds. We've never been because of the astronomical entry fees but today they had a special on £5 pp which was worth every penny. They have a wide variety of healthy looking animals and the staff were all brilliant and so friendly. The food is very pricey which is expected luckily I always pack a picnic. The hot chocolate was £4.50 making 2 almost as much as the entry fee 😳 (and only 1 average sized marshmallow?, should include a handful for that price with a cookie too 😜). The playground is very dated and basic, Stamford park has much better equipment and is free entry. I would suggest adding some coin operated mini diggers and I didn't see any go carts? - that would add more value. Unfortunately the tractor ride was not open possibly due to the ground being frosty so I can't comment on that. I saw the donut stand but unfortunately didn't see ice cream being sold? It's a small compact farm so I wouldn't say we'd be back soon as we saw it all (and ate) within 3 hours and we were lucky with the reptile and cuddle corner queues. Last thought: The exit via the gift shop ploy would be best left to tourist attraction venues not a petting farm.

Brilliant day put for all the family! We went to the toddler version of the North Pole Adventure and there was so much to see and do! You can meet Father Christmas and get a present then go and see/feed all the animals. There's a large outdoor playground and a bouncy pillow for children's to play on. There's also a huge sandpit area with water pump and pipes for the water to go through which my three year old loved! Will definitely be back next year!

Absolutely brilliant. My grandson , daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would definitely go again. Both the farm and the playgrounds, inside and out are great areas for children to enjoy themselves and let off steam. We had lunch at the cafe and that served good food and not expensive, they are also aware of food allergies and provided me with a list of allergens. Well worth a visit.

Brilliant morning at the Christmas event. Lots to keep everyone entertained in the Christmas spirit. The kids get to choose their own toy instead of being given one like usual. They all make their own teddy which was nice. Plus you see a show and get a free drink for the adult. Good value I’d say

Guaranteed fun! Brilliant afternoon out with the little ones. Loads to see and do and it's really easy to lose track of time. Great photo ops too! The food is a bit pricey, so I recommend bringing your own food and making use of the ample picnic spots. Most importantly, all of the animals appear happy and well taken care of.

Great place, well organized. Lots of activities for kids. Playgrounds are fantastic, safe for even small children, and quite spacious. Lot of animals to pet and feed, also to pet. Nice lunch area with good choice of meals. Good organisation to maintain social distancing and plenty of hand sanitizers and washing stations. Recommended to visit with young kids

  • 4/5 Anthony E. 3 years ago on Google
Great for kids, however when we got to go pick pumpkins they were all tiny. We were expecting some decent pumpkins for the entrance fee but it was nice to feed and see the animals. We ended up buying some pumpkins for 50p each big ones. But we took 4 small ones from the farm to use as mini candle lights. Good social distancing measures in place and plenty of hand sanitising stations around. Awesome Lama's and Meerkats!!

  • 5/5 Colin F. 9 months ago on Google
We booked our family visit the day before after come across this farm randomly on Google Maps. We didn't know much about the place, but we're very glad that we went. It is ideal for children from nursery all the way up through primary ages (3, 7, 9 and 11 in our group). There's plenty to do inside (imaginative play, animal handling etc) and outside (tractor rides, foam party, air pillow etc) which made it very easy to spend the whole day at the farm. The staff are very friendly (special mention for the disco tractor/foam party crew, absolute legends), the food is good quality and the ticket entry price includes pretty much everything that's available to you. No extra for the carousel, photos with a python (QR code and download) or the first bag of animal feed. This made it excellent value for money and we are definitely going to go back again.

Great place to take the kids. Very well organised Santa Visit. Loved it

  • 5/5 Kat H. 3 years ago on Google
Absolutely loved the pumpkin festival, had our wellies and waterproofs and although it rained ALL day, we got a very lovely pumpkin, we stroke tortoises, bearded dragons and guinea pigs, we dug a trench in the outdoor play area, my son rode the unlimited merry go round & we fed lots of different animals (my favourite was the goat who kept getting out of his enclosure and then got back in when he was full) I was really pleased to see that they had clearly reduced numbers and the staff were all happy and polite especially the gent running the carousel on Tuesday 27th. Well done guys you've got it spot on.

Lovely day out at the farm meeting Santa. It's a shame much of the activities were unavailable due to Covid, but the team at Cockfields have done an amazing job to ensure the kids still have an entertaining and magical experience. We were lucky to visit on a dry day, as there were lots of outdoor activities to tire the children out!

Had an amazing day today with my daughter niece and nephew for the Halloween special there was so much to do like feed the animals run around the pumpkin patch to pick there own pumpkin and then carving it the park is always a hit and the treasure hunt was great fun having them looking for all the letters to guess the words. The food was nice and great value well worth the money we spent. And the staff where all very friendly and helpful the kids loved it thank you for all the effort you put in to making their day special xxx

It's OK. Young children will love the animals and large bouncy pillow. The farm has had to adapt to the new Covid world and its done a reasonable job. Older children may get bored quickly with the limited attractions but it's worth a visit.

Absolutely fantastic place to visit, it has everything you want, and is not too big that you feel you are in a theme park but big enough for children to run around. It's got a playground, animal feeding, petting of small animals, big sand pit, bouncy castle and decent clean toilets. Only 4 stars and not 5 as the food and drinks from the café are below average. Unhealthy and not appetising at all, so I always bring my own food and drink. But fine if you just want a hot cup of tea.

  • 2/5 Maria C. 3 years ago on Google
Over priced - saw all the animals in 10 mins. Outside are was ok but would have had as much fun at the park. All the staff I met we're friendly and helpful just not enough to do to keep a little one entertained for longer than 30 minutes.

Cracking little attraction for the kids, plenty for toddlers and older kids to play on and animals are great as well, seem very used to being hand fed. I thought that paying entry for Children over one was a bit much to be fair. Especially if both parents tag along, but my daughter had a great day and the staff were all very friendly and facilities were clean and were Covid-19 aware.

Myself and my four year old visited today. We have had the best time. I've always been put off because I thought it was a bit expensive but after visiting today its definitely value for money with lots of things to do. We spent five hours here and the foam party at the end was lots of fun. The staff are all super friendly and great with the kids. We can wait to come back.

  • 5/5 Melanie W. 3 years ago on Google
We had an absolutely great time. The staff are very friendly and they have easily labelled routes to help distancing. The park is one of the best I've seen. The sand is lush to play in and my little boy enjoyed crawling about with his face in it. The petting area is well distanced, bit of a queue but worth the wait. My toddler met his first tortoise and was fascinated watching it crawl around the table and enjoyed tickling it's feet gently. The chickens were very loved and I managed to stop my goblin from sharing his socks with them. The cafe is spacious with great room for a 3 wheel jeep of a buggy. This was well worth the money and a great, entertaining day out. The ice- cream was a hit too because absolutely none got on the pram. This is going to get a repeat visit!

Overall really good, the kids loved it but the prices of extra things are really high. The food is expensive for what it is but I appreciate this goes to the running costs of the place. You can take your own food which is a nice touch, some places don't allow that. A really good day out and the staff are really friendly :)

So much fun! The staff were great, so informative and friendly! Lots of different animals as well. The goats are not to be missed and will definitely give you a good laugh.

Plenty for kids to do here, and the pumpkins were reasonably priced. I will be going back for Christmas definitely! I would love to see more local goods in the gift shop, and slightly better baby goat containment, but otherwise it was a great day out.

Small but cheerful. Nice to get close to animals.

What a brilliant morning. Cockfields farm have put a great deal of hard work in to create the North Pole Adventure. The attention to detail was amazing and all hand done. Anyone can spend money to create something but this was truly hand crafted. Well worth the money. One small detail, a few seats were needed dotted around for us wrinklys.
