Came here with friends and it's pretty nice. We played bowling and ping-pong. They have cocktails and some good beers on draft. I would go back it's convenient being in the town centre

Fantastic atmosphere, great selection of activities and games. We played a game of bowling then some of the free arcade machines around the lanes. Good size bar with decent selection of drink choice, with fat hippo food and a big projector screen for sports

Great little bowling and entertainment place. Lots of cool things here to do - arcades, basket ball, beer pong etc. Bowling is pretty expensive (IMO) though so be prepared - you can wear your own trainers which is good. Great burgers here too. Table/lane service is available. Make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Why's it called Lane 7? They have more than 7 lanes. Anyway, been here on a busy Saturday night and a quiet Sunday afternoon. Both visits were "spot on". No complaints. Staff have always been great and able to cope with any issues. In our visits we've done pretty much every activity and can't complain about any of them. Just a really enjoyable night out. Great food too.

The lanes are a little cramped with no better way other than walking in front of other people's bowling parties to get to your lane, making this relatively funny but chaotic. There's a small selection of arcade games which are relatively unused even during busy periods, the shuffled boards while enjoyable are quite small and don't quite hold your attention for long periods of time. The rules and explanations given weren't the best from the staff. But they were friendly and willing. The hard slush is delicious and the food was good also. The pool table was a little lackluster with clumsy pool cues which are very large, clearly intended for hard wear rather than any finesse. Same with the table, thick hard wearing cloth with marks and stains all over it designed for minimal maintenance. The ball noticible sleeps at slower speeds and on occasion will roll randomly from presumably damaged cloth or dings to the slate. Despite all this, overall we had a good time and used the venue for it's intended purposes, a social event. I certainly think going as a larger group to be more cost effective and enjoyable. The staff were lovely and willing to help at all times. It's just a shame the venue didn't live up to expectations. The staff gets a 5* and the venue gets a 4*

Came here to Lane7 Sheffield on a Monday night, so it was much quieter than I'd seen in photos of Sat/Sun. Had a good time; beer, bowling, nice games area including pool, darts, air hockey, various arcade machines. Nice seating area and big projector screen (playing cricket at the time, oh well). Place has a nice theme, good atmosphere despite the place being fairly empty. They have a restaurant there too, but we didn't try the food.

£22 a game of bowling, £11 for 30minutes of pool - staff gave no guidance which lane we was on which we found alone and ended up having a random staff member standing on our lane as we was half way through our game trying to bowl.. asked for email, phone number and name incase of a fire? Which I found strange. Honestly I probably won’t return and won’t recommend to any of my friends/family. Much better bowling places to go to 👍

Had such fun. Playing bowling, Ping-pong and pool. They also do other games there and there is a cafe and bar inside aswell. Grate atmosphere and friendly and helpful staff.

Never noticed this place before. Large and strangely set out but good for a night out that doesn't have to revolve around drinking. There's a Fat Hippos outlet inside, too. Handy but also makes everything smell of burgers. Lots of arcade games, darts boards, and pool tables, as well as the bowling. I'm not sure what those very strange side rooms are for, but they look like a stage set for one of the Saw movies!!

Solid family experience. We have tried bowling and darts, plus a few arcade games, as a family of three, and had fun every time. The bowling lanes will ket you have bumpers up/down based on each player's needs. The darts have loads of games and the points are scored automatically through a smart system, neat. Staff are friendly, they'll set things up for you, come and take your drinks order, and deliver. Spot on :)

Not the cheapest and I thought my fat hippo burger was too dry. Otherwise bowling alley was ok. I didn't like the idea of having to collect the burger from the kitchen myself especially when their payment system explicitly ask for a tip!

Slightly on the pricey side but good facilities and plenty to do. Good to do a couple of activities in one place

Nice space. Decent bar, didn't try the food but it looked pretty good. Bowling was good, not been in years so was pretty fun. We booked 50 minutes and I don't think they make it clear that you still only get 1 game even if you've got time left. Do yourself a favour and take your time to fill out the time you've paid for.

Had a very fun night out! Staff were all helpful and nice, let us know how everything worked and where everything were. The deco was awesome and the vibe’s great! Would be a good place to hang out with a bunch of friends!

last minute visit tonight, staff were super accommodating and really fast with drinks and service! we felt really well looked after even though it was busy. Definitely would recommend, thanks to all the staff for their wonderful hospitality!!

So, the music, staff, options of activities and service was lovely. But, I had only gone there for the dance mat. The dance mat itself was amazing. The buttons worked and responded perfectly. This is rare due to dance mats being quite old these days. It's not often that you find a functioning dance mat. These points alone would have made me confidently give 5 stars. Unfortunately there was a speaker, for pub music, that was right next to the dance mat. This would result in not being able to hear the music from the dance mat making it unplayable. We asked a member of staff if the dance mat music could be turned up, or that the speaker next to it could be turned down. They went to ask a manager and came back with that there was nothing they could do. This was unfortunate due to only going in to play the dance mat. The dance mat itself was amazing. But, unplayable due to not being able to hear the music.

The bowling was quite fun. Nice area, good staff etc. We booked a slot from 9-9.30 at a cost of £33 for the three of us. I've checked back and the only info of what this is includes is bowling for that time. However, once we got there, we played one game and were ushered out. The confirmation email (that I got after I paid) did confirm that we'd just have one game, but still, that's ridiculous. Every other bowling places I've been allows you to play for the entire slot you've paid for. So it was £33 for a bit under 15 minutes of entertainment. Wouldn't recommend.

Nice little venue, well kept up and great music. Went on a none busy day and didn’t have any difficulty navigating or playing. Good selection of beers on tap too

Very busy over the Christmas period and it prevented a second game being played. If you wanted a second game there was a 4 hour wait making it untenable. The staff worked hard to keep up the smooth running of booking and the drinks service. I hope my next visit will give me a better feeling as I left.

Went here on Saturday for our belated Christmas party and we couldn’t praise this place enough. The staff were great, fantastic facilities and great choice of beers. Didn’t try the burgers but heard great things about them. The manager who looked after our party was amazing. Approachable, friendly and professional. Made our staff party one to remember. Really nice place good atmosphere although the Amstell tasted like it had been watered-down to poor quality. The young man that served us didn't seem interested. So we had our drinks and left. A little bit more enthusiasm goes a long way and customer service.

Pool, bowling, old school arcades and beer. (Almost) everything you could want from an afternoon out. Only thing missing was some bar snacks, rather than being steered towards to hot food menu as the only option. Wednesday afternoon during half term but it wasn’t overly busy.

Fun place. Reason for 4 stars in unisex toilets... didn't take long for them to get gross and as a woman looking for a clean toliet, I was outnumbered by men missing the seat! Other than that, good place to play games, bowling was fun, shoe rental is optional which I liked. Darts was really fun, the digital games are great. Beer pong room looked amazing but we didn't play although I was surprised to see they were letting the ball drop on the ground and then drinking the beer in the cups, gross. Great atmosphere and music overall good time.

Fun for everyone. Lots to do from bowling, darts, pool, shuffleboard, classic and modern arcade games, basketball etc.. Bar and food hall also. Definitely recommend for all ages and family friendly.

Had a bloody lovely time at Lane 7. Great bowling, good bar and a range of other entertainment. Staff were lovely, and most importantly I won at the bowling! We will definitely be back for a rematch. A great addition to Sheffield.

Great variety of activities, arcade, bowling, darts, pool, shuffleboard, table tennis. Good variety of food on the menu and the food was excellent. If you like shakes then you must try one here! The bowling can be a bit load bit generally a great atmosphere. Would recommend for a good night out.

We went for a simple Friday evening work outing and I loved it. I haven't been bowling for years and an evening of games was a real tonic after lockdown. The place was not too busy - and the food was gloriously naughty. The burgers are too big to fit in your mouth and were so tasty. We're definitely going again - it was a real treat.

Fab, quirky place to wile away a few hours. We went for 2 games of bowling and an hour of pool to celebrate our wedding anniversary and relive our youth. Real industrial feel to the place, staff are really friendly and helpful. As others have said the toilets aren't amazing and bowling is very expensive, but there's plenty to do. Would definitely visit again.

Best burger I've had in the city so far. About mid range on drinks prices. Bowling, bar sports, and arcade games make this a must visit spot for everyone. Great for both large groups and date nights. Ive said it already but it needs repeating, great burgers!

Would recommend some where different to go. Good music and a fun night you have loads to choose from. Pool tables bowling arcade games darts and lovely food (fat hippo) brilliant burgers. Would definitely give this place a try if it's with your other half or if it's with a group of friends can't easily accommodate both and is a good night and atmosphere. Book in advance as it gets really busy.

good bowling alley with additional arcade games, lane was still occupied when we arrived however we had 20 mins free table tennis for the time being which was a nice compromise. good range of alcoholic & soft drinks, plenty of bowling balls on each rack. would definitely go again!

Me and my large group of friends booked a whole days worth of activities, we rang multiple times to make sure everything had been booked correctly and to ensure no mistakes had been made, we all paid £15 each to book out the activities spending over £200 as a group to find that we couldn't do half of the activities as they did not have room for us even though it had been booked and paid for weeks in advance. They gave us our £60 back between 15 of us we we used to purchase beer pong drinks. However, they then provided us with 10 red strip drinks accumulating to less than £60. Do not recommend using the booking services as there is evidently no point or benefit in doing so.

Really enjoyed our visit. The venue is amazing, all industrial looking and trendy. Drinks were spot on, neck oil was on tap which is one of my favourites. Staff were hit and miss. When we got there, there was just one team member behind the bar, she was preparing a few cocktails which of course takes some time. Sadly she didn’t acknowledge us at all and just kept making cocktails, no “will be with you in two ticks” or “someone will be with you shortly”. Luckily another team member arrived and started serving. I really liked this guy as when he was preparing our second round of drinks (my partner and I were bowling) I could see him pick up our order on the tray, as he walked away from the bar he realised my pint had started to lose its head and was about 2 inch under brim so walked back to the bar and topped up. Little things like this show the team member is thinking about the guest. He brought the drinks and was friendly and polite. I mentioned what I had seen and thanked him. Will definitely revisit. Both my partner and I had a very enjoyable experience. I also love fat hippo sadly wasn’t hungry this visit.
