We were recommended Sleepy Meadows from a friend, & the service met all our expectations, Susan was warm, welcoming & provided a sweet little service for our Alfie. I love the fact you get your beloved friend back the same day & the cremations are done individually. All the little touches provided us with some comfort. Thank you Susan Lorraine & Steve Noon x

There are not enough stars to thank Susan for today . The loss of a truly treasured pet was so devastating for my elderly mum . Her beautiful 12 year old budgie died in the night , she was heartbroken and I asked if she'd like to have him cremated and keep his ashes . Sleepy Meadow Pet Cemetery were so helpful and caring , such a lovely, personal service . We took his ashes home less than an hour after arrival ♥️From all our family thank you so much

Just had the awful task following the death of our beloved pet dog, to take her to the pet crematory known as Sleepy Meadow in Sandbach. The owners there, Susan & Terry were so thoughtful, caring & warm. They provided us with great comfort in what was an awful time. Their service & attention to detail is excellent, personal, professional & it was a delight to get our treasured girl back in a truly wonderful casket with lots of beautiful mementoes in it. Thank you so much.

Last night we were facing losing a very special girl to us. A dog who had survived a life of hell having been exported to China and luckily making it home. Her PTS was booked for 8.15pm and we didn't want to be faced with leaving her alone at the vets. Seeing Sleepy Meadows was close to the vets. The website seemed to ooze compassion and professed to operate 24hrs to ensure grieving families could drop of their pets I placed the call. I was mortified to be met with an abrupt lady who made it very clear that I and my dog would be a inconvenience and that she already had one person bringing a dog to them that evening. Couldn't it just be tomorrow? As a strong minded rescuer I found even myself stumbling through my words before blurting out in tears I'd make alternative arrangements. I wasn't afforded compassion. I wasn't afforded empathy. I can't even say the lady sounded mildly irked she was extremely irritated. Someone just about to say goodbye to a much loved family member was treated with a tone that lacked compassion and as though I'd asked the man at the local chipshop to place a fish into a fryer 5 minutes before they closed. Darling Winnie left peacefully but has now spent the night on the floor of the vets coldroom. Today she will be taken to a pet crematorium who I absolutely know will treat her with respect. We will be making sure our large following and community and our adopters know exactly where to avoid. If someone who is use to dealing with loss was left feeling embarrassed and like I'd inconvenienced you so badly placing that call I can only begin to imagine the impact a heavily grieving pet owner would have felt

We lost our dog a couple of weeks ago and we couldn’t have got through it without the care and compassion Sue showed us and Winston. What a wonderful lady she is, the time she spent on the phone and in person with us helped us come to terms with what we were going through. When we went to pick up Winston’s ashes she even arrange for a rainbow in the sky. Thank you so much Sleepy Meadows.xxx

Found myself needing to come here again at a really unexpected and heart breaking time. My 11 year olds cat who she was besotted in suddenly passed away. The owner came and met us there at short notice so we could get our boy cremated and home asap. She is absolutely lovely and makes you feel so much better. At such a heart breaking time you really need that extra love and support especially when children are saying good bye to their beloved pets. I will always use sleepy meadows to put my animals at rest. And I will always recommend. Thanks so much. The lunt family x

Can’t give thanks enough to Susan who accommodated at very short notice the cremation of my beloved Yorkie who devastatingly had to be put to sleep. I took her straight from the vets to Sleepy Meadow where Susan said a prayer and a few kind words at the “altar” and a few hours later I returned and was presented with a beautiful box with her ashes and lock of hair lovingly presented in the wooden box. It made the whole process a little more bearable and gave me a degree of peace- thank you Susan for a fitting end for my cherished fur baby xx

We are so pleased we found Sleepy Meadows. Susan was so kind and respectful in every way; she went out of her way to help us on the sad occasion of losing our dear cat, Jinks. We are very grateful for her kindness and would certainly recommend the service they provide. The setting is quiet and peaceful, just what we needed at a time like this and the calm, unhurried approach was much appreciated. Very sincere thanks, Tony and Helen.

Our beloved cat Dylan passed away and as soon as Susan answered the phone she made everything as easy as possible. She took care of everything in such a kind way and read a lovely poem. You can tell she really really cares about animals and people. Thank you Susan.

We called sue in an emergency and she was very friendly, compassionate and caring as soon as she answered the phone. She asked questions about Ruby, to be caring. We went the next day, and had Ruby's asked back the same day, lovely presented in a beautiful wooden box. Susan also read a poem beforehand, making the experience more personal. Will use Susan again should unfortunately the need arise.

We sadly lost our cat in August. We took him to Susan at Sleepy Meadow and had a very personalised, empathetic experience that allowed us the closure we needed. We were able to wait and bring our boy home with us straight away. Compared to the services offered through veterinary practises this is second to none - They clearly have a passion and care greatly about what they do which you wouldn’t get with commercialised companies. A huge thank you to all the team at Sleepy Meadow for showing such care and compassion at a very distressing time, we will never forget your kindness

Words can't say how much Sleepy Meadow have helped us in our grieving process for our beloved dog. She passed away so suddenly it was such a shock. I was going to just leave her at the emergency vets and let them deal with the cremation as I was too sad to know any better, but thank goodness I was told about this place. The lady was wonderful and so respectful and compassionate. We took our pet to her, said our goodbyes. We had a little service and remembrance of her (which really helped the children). She was then cremated 100% by herself and we had her back in less than two hours in a beautiful box with a poem and a lock of her hair. The price was also much better than quoted by the vets.

On loosing our beloved dog Tilly peacefully at home today, I found Sleepy Meadows. From my first call enquiring & hearing Susan’s compassionate voice full of empathy I knew this was the place I need to be. Bearing in mind it was 5pm on a Sunday evening! Susan explained the service they provided and asked if I would like to bring her down straight away. On arrival we were greeted by Susan she read a beautiful personalised poem and we were told it would take around an hour & a half she would call when it was time to collect. On collection we were blown away by the thought and attention to detail that had been put into the casket the personal poem, a keyring containing a lock of her fur and a beautiful inscribed bag which contained the ashes ❤️ I cannot describe the compassion and empathy of this lady, a true animal lover. I will be highly recommending Sleepy Meadow without hesitation Thank you Susan for making a hard day so much easier God Bless you Love Paula & Ashley xx

After losing our beloved Rottweiler Aurora we always knew that cremation was the only option. Susan at Sleepy Meadows is wonderful, such a beautiful little service with the kindest words said about our little girl. Susan really did go above and beyond in our time of need. Susan is so kind and helpful and no question is un answered. I would certainly recommend you use Sleepy Meadow for when you are in this awful situation. Thank you Susan you are a beautiful human being!!

Made the mistake of phoning them because I got the number mixed up with another pet crematorium, the woman was very rude and demanded to know why I'd phoned them and where I'd got their number from. She did say she was sorry about my cat but it really upset me. Wouldn't use them if they were the last pet crematorium in the country.
