The island itself is definitely a 5 stars but the resort for the price that we have to pay it is not worth it. We stayed at the presidential and executive suite. The rooms were not kept properly, needs refurbishing and electricity only works from 6pm-6am. The air-conditioning at the executive suite is too loud and only works on fan - how can you relax and sleep at night?! If you turn it off its too hot then flies and mosquitoes are everywhere. If you are eating your meal and flies flying on your food and staff cannot do anything about it i think that is a no no if you are paying for the service. I do understand that calaguas is a secluded area but the amount that they are asking is hefty too. Even asking for as simple as ice you need to pay P25. Lastly, they should plan for plan b for boat transfers going to and from the island if you get stuck in the middle of shallow water especially if you have other plans ahead. We waited for few hours in the middle of nowhere to wait for the water to rise if they already know that it is low tide before leaving the island. Some passengers have to call for other boat to rescue them to be transferred back to the land. This is very disappointing. We are all locals and we do understand how things work but myself and other family members had a bad experience on this trip.

Beautiful shoreline and clean beach. Staff was friendly. Food is ok. Great service. Only questions was common restroom, clogged and smelly shower room and toilets not easy to flush. Dogs were a nuisance while we were eating.

Comfort Rooms has flush and sprinklers. Shower areas may support multiple people. It's an off grid destination, but there's a paid wifi service. Comforters and pillows could be rented; separate from the tent. Depending on your package, you can enjoy activities like trekking, Island hoping, and etc. As of this comment has been posted, no night life was still available. It's up to you and your friends though to be creative, or just sleep it all out. Food are served--usually, they include lunch and dinner on the first day, and a breakfast on the following day. My favorite dishes were stingrays and tuna. For extra activities, shelter, or food, just make sure to bring extra money to enjoy. Lastly, don't miss out buying delicious ice candies to cool off the heat, and keep yourself from overheating by drinking lots of fresh water

The management, staff, location was good but some guests were not respecting another’s space. It need’s a QUITE TIME policy like 10:00 pm to 6:00 am.

This is my resort that I experience and accommodation, That i was staying at has a distinctive smell, the smell of food or cooking. You would not normally notice it but when you do it makes you think of your holidays and how they are such a nice way to relax. What could be more relaxing than eating in a good resort.

This place is very refreshing. The place itself is very relaxing and comforting. The staffs are accommodating. I highly recommend this to my family, friends and those who are looking for a place to stay if they will be visiting the place.
