Tried their branch near UST..Authentic Arabic shawarma I must say.Same with their felafel.Brought back good memories during my Middle East days.Loved their spicy garlic sauce as well.Their staff is very polite and very efficient.Highly recommended for those who loves Arabic cuisine or anyone who wants to try something new to their taste.

Update: They have another branch now in San Sebastian going Recto Side. Congrats on the new branch!! Truly reminds me of my childhood way back when I was in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. They truly get the lebanese style shawarma. Pita, chicken, the sauce, the fries in it - it would be the exact shawarma i was eating except the pickles were missing but that's ok. And man the sambouza was perfect!!! My mom had to make those when we move back here but thank God they made it right. By the way, quality garlic sauce and the fact it's not free means they had to craft it. Current rating of 3.6 doesn't do justice. For those pinoys who don't know what real lebanese shawarma is like, give this a try. Take it as it is and it's an awesome experience. As for me, thanks saffron for the delicious childhood food nostalgia.

The shawarma were not that authentic especially for an Arab pellet like me, it lacks pickles and other green salads in it. They said they dont have Hot sauce for the shawarma which was a downfall, the garlic sauce and chicken are well made but it's far from the authentic yet. Their kabsa does not taste authentic as well for it taste like another dish in saudi called Bukhari rice and chicken which is what it should be called. But all in all if they improve and listen to comments they will get 5 stars someday.

Came here at around 8:45pm Pros: Food is delicious for the most part Place is clean and spacious Fitting atmosphere for the cuisine Large and filling service sizes Steep prices but worth it Vegan Options Available Cons: No Service Water (they sell bottled instead) Us 4 friends shared our foods with each other and almost unanimously agreed that the Sharooq Platter was the best in terms of price taste and serving portions (ideal for sharing 2-3persons). The Thawm Macaroni is different and is best appreciated if you dont compare it to Italian and/or Filipino pasta. Overall, I wouldn't know if this it the "authentic" Middle Eastern taste, but it's worth the glimpse. Will be coming back again.

Heard the supervisor cursing and shouting at the staff. Cursing at employee is almost as cursing your customer in the back. Generic looking place similar to their former place in the corner nearby. Not even a service water served.. Pathetic. Kabsa with saffron rice is ok though.. minty aftertaste. 2 star mostly for its food. ( - ) Place ( - ) Staff ( + ) Food

As a filipino kid who's spent a generous part of his childhood living in the middle east, it's been a challenge for me to find the delicious food that the place had introduced me to here in the philippines. There are few places that had piqued my interest and one of those is this restaurant. The place boasts a plethora of dishes which faithfully recreates the essence of the food that I am familiar with. It doesn't attempt to fully localize the food but rather, it makes you feel that you are in the place that the dish originates from.

Not consistent with food availability. Though the food is always great, it's not satisfying to eat the food that isn't your first choice in the menu. Happened twice already. Please understand that some people (like me) goes to restaurants with a particular food in mind already. I will pay another visit and to see if they have improved their inventory.
