One of America's most famous monuments, Mount Rushmore, and another lesser known monument, the Crazy Horse Memorial. Construction on Crazy Horse began in 1948 and it is still far from complete. Hermoso sitio con mucho que recorrer . En la naturaleza , bellos paisajes para hermosas fotos . Aire puro . Vale la pena viajar a este sitio encantador . Beautiful place with a lot to visit. In nature, beautiful landscapes for beautiful photos. Pure air. It's worth traveling to this enchanted place

I have now been fortunate enough to have lived in the Black Hills National Forest almost 16 years now. I own a great property on Sunny Side, Lead at an elevation that affords me a view overlooking the historic town with hills and forest all around. I’m on the trails most days with my dog Mack and hoping nothing changes here. The views year round can leave you speechless. Being here affords us the time to come to an appreciation of the history, triumphs and sadness. For pioneers, for Native Americans . We don’t rewrite our history, we appreciate it and respect it here. My waking dream passing through this mostly untouched land is a reward I feel I don’t deserve.

Beautiful, beautiful area! We have a blast riding trails and camping with friends and family. We love it so much we go about 3 to 4 times a year. The drive is anywhere between 5 and 7 hours for us and it's so worth it!

Black Hills National Forest of South Dakota is a beautiful lush green forest with beautiful limestone Rock formations and crystal clear streams. Great to simply drive through the wining roads, to hike fish and call sorts of outdoor activities. Also so much wildlife to see. Sylvan lake, Hippy Hole, Spearfish Canyon, “Devil’s Bathtub” are just a few of the places to visit,

The Black Hills are in western South Dakota and northeastern Wyoming, covering an area 125 miles long and 65 miles wide. They encompass rugged rock formations, canyons and gulches, open grassland parks, tumbling streams, deep blue lakes, and unique caves.

Loved this place. Parking was easy. Amazing views and walking trails. The altitude got to me not used to 5700 feet. Take you time and drink water. Roughly a half mile maybe from parking lot to the site and back to the parking lot. Wear walking shoes. It was incredible how the faces were carved out of the mountain. Pictures do not do this justice. There is also an amphitheater that holds shows at sundown. Definitely worth the visit. Look up the website to learn about all the shows. Restrooms were available along with handicap ramps. Gift shop and eateries present. Ice cream was good. Have fun.

Early morning is the best time to discover this vast area. Pack a meal and stop to enjoy the moment. There is a lot to see here so don't rush.

The Black Hills are a wonderful place to enjoy some freedom and open spaces. Plenty of places to explore. Most people that come through are very respectful. Campgrounds are nice and boondocking is also a great option. Photos are from Nemo area.

First things first. DONT LITTER OR GET CLOSE TO WILD BEINGS!!!!! I REPEAT, DONT LITTER! Smdh. The Black hills of SD/Wyoming are a thing of majestic beauty. Treat them thatway, or be haunted by the many spirits in them thar hills.

Been twice now and will probably be back. The whole area is beautiful. Needles highway and Sylvan Lake are by far my favorite. Stayed at one of the campgrounds. Nice sites and the facilities were really nice and clean.

I and a hunting partner were out in the hills for 7 days of camping and hunting turkeys. This is our 12th year, and we still love the area and the hunt. There is quite a bit of hunting pressure, and the turkeys act accordingly. It can be a difficult hunt but is a great experience. We typically put on 10 plus miles a day walking and calling turkeys. This year, we were 0 for 2, and it was still a great time.

So much to do here, no matter what are you into. Thousands of trails for hiking, horseback riding, overlanding, jeep trails, ATV/UTV, dirty bike, mountain bike and of course camping! Please keep the place clean especially if you target shooting. Take down your "targets" and dispose them properly.
