Cool historical place! We didn’t stay there, just visited. But, there’s camping, trails and even horse trails. I believe you can also rent some of the old cabins. There’s corals doe your horses too. Stop and drink in the history behind Harriman Park.

Absolutely stunning park! I went to hike the Silver Lake trail and ended up trail running most of it. Nice single track that is not too technical. Not a lot of elevation on the route. Only one hill at the back of the lake but you can skip it if you wanted. Total miles was 8 but if you skip the loop you’ll probably end up with 5 miles. Very well marked and lots of wild life! Bear signs everywhere but I never saw any. Definitely happy I ended up here today!

Nice quiet park with some great sites, river and lake. Plenty of restrooms, Yurt camping, areas for picnics.

This is beautiful park for hiking and biking. There are two lakes. No ATVs or motorbikes so it us a quieter experience. I rode the mountain bike trails. Most of what I rode was beginner to intermediate level, but there were definitely stretches well above my skill level where I just walked the bike. I will definitely be back.

Fun place to bike, and hike. Absolutely beautiful trails. The trails can be quite muddy at time so give it a few days to dry before riding after a rain. If you like bird watching there are many stunning birds and the trails let you get up close with the lake shore to see them. Don't forget your bug spray though as the mosquitoes can be bad in the spring.

Beautiful state park with various hiking trails, ponds, small lakes and wildflowers. Booked a 2 hour trail ride with Dry Ridge Outfitters which was well managed, circling a lake, through the woods with deer, wildflowers, and views of the Tetons.

Had a wonderful day hiking and enjoying the wildlife! The fee is $5 and includes Mesa Falls. We enjoyed an easy walk around Silver Lake and along the River.

A beautiful place to take photos and spend time with family. We took a picnic and walked around the old homes. There is so much to learn. They also have great skiing in the winter. We have gone in winter and summer.

Stunning scenery and well preserved homestead. The tour was very interesting to glimpse back in time and learn the history of this settlement. The wildlife was great to see. Many trails well marked from easy to extreme. Next time we will plan on taking bikes to explore further along the river and lakes. Horseback riding is offered as well. One of the homes is available to rent nightly as well as grounds available for weddings. I highly recommend .

This park was recommended by a family member. Since we were here in April with a new 12 inch coating of snow, we weren't sure it would be open and didn't expect to be able to see much. However, we learned you could borrow snow shoes for free. We drove to the parking area near the beginning of the trail, and suited up with hats, gloves, etc. It was tough going as there were no previous footprints to follow, but it was beautiful scenery. We took a path close to the river and saw and heard geese and ducks. This was great exercise and sure beat being inside another day! The staff was very helpful. If we're in the area another time, we'll be back and try some hiking, etc.

Amazing place and best place to get a faraway snap of Tetons. Enthusiastic photographers must visit this place early in the morning where they could capture photo of Tetons with alpenglow 🤩 We missed it and interested folks could make use of this opportunity 😇

A must see for historical reference. It is a beautiful Park! You can walk the grounds on your own but a guided tour is really interesting. We loved it!

We go cross country skiing here every year, and we love it! We have been doing this for 32 years and will continue this tradition for the foreseeable future.

We had the best horseback ride ever! The day was perfect, clear skies, lush vegetation, and magnificent views! After the 2 hour ride, we had lunch in the park. The grounds were impeccable, the bathrooms clean and the views priceless!

I've been up to Island Park dozens of times, but had never visited Harriman State Park. So glad my wife and I stopped to check it out. Absolutely beautiful views, and 100% worth visiting. We will definitely be back!

Highly recommend! Our 5 year old got to ride on his own horse with a tiny saddle! It was just his size and adorable! It had a lead rope that was held on to but every horse was trained so well! And our guides were so fun! Our family had a blast! We will definitely be back!😁🤘

Had a fantastic time snowshoeing around the state park and by the lake around early April. Well worth the trip.

There wasn't much to explore here for families. There was a small paved nature walk area that was kid friendly. There were historical houses and tours. That was really it though. The visitors center had very friendly and helpful staff also clean bathrooms.
