A small run down unassuming shop run by government appointed crooks who overcharge, give no bill, accept no UPI or card payments only cash. The beers sold here are ones which no one has ever heard of. What's the point of having government stores when they have no idea how to run them. They claim to employ graduates but they behave like street side thugs. No amount of asking the counter person about why they were overcharging elicited any response except take it or leave it. We paid a premium on whatever we bought and left wondering how this system is better than allowing private enterprise to run liquor stores.

People are forced to go to these stupid outlets...no brands & they operate frm cheap hellholes. This industry needs privatisation in TN.

You will get only cheap booze here and pls check opening time before you go. However there is another booze shop nearby next to icici bank atm

Dunny why few states have govt wines shops..this place is pathetic. Also you see home delivery photo, that's a scam and do not fall for that..they ll take money and will not deliver.

It's situated off commercial road. Less crowded. Better to buy drinks only from here. If you return empty bottle Rs 10 refunded.

No proper stock and place is too dirty.. no proper board to identify this place..

You will not get popular brands except Antiquity in whisky, Bacardi in rum and magic moments in vodka

It's the one and only tasmac located in outy town .it's really an old one so don't expect that much fecility or hygiene. A low class one with normal brands and some premium ones only accept cash there so always keep the cash with in hand

Super place as always. This is a gov run place, only few options available in ooty. Drinks are decent

Cause it's not like the name, the name of it only nice to hear, but the tasmac is just a garbage inside, I suggest not to go there if want to get a good drink and day
