Nice temple amidst busy roads and heavy traffic. Not very old construction, but typical old architecture. Complex is big, lots of small temples around the main sanctum. Parking available on roadside.

Holy temple of goddess Meenakshi (Parvati) and lord Sundareshwara (Shiva) located in Bannerghatta road just 200 meters from Christ college and opposite to Narayana Nethralaya. Once inside we can see mini temples of Navagraha, Sun and Moon also. We can spend time there with family and find peace in this peaceful place.

We’ll Maintained and. Very peaceful temple …But can’t hold myself Seeing The surroundings like metro ,Apartments .. Unfortunately it has lost its charm due to city Booming Development…It was not the case 15-20 yrs back …It was just a Small Town …

A beautiful temple located in Bannerghatta main road. Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara temple is located in Bannerghatta main road. The temple is quite big and spacious. You can park your vehicles outside the temple but you have to be careful as the metro construction work is going on here you have to be careful. Overall it's a peaceful place to visit

It’s a beautiful temple, very spacious well maintained with parking and cleanliness is top notch. The temple offers Prasadam to devotees and don’t miss it, its delicious. Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareshwara, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, are worshipped here. The temple is located on Bannerghatta Main road & it is very much accessible. Om Namah Shivaya🕉️

Devine shrine of the beautiful God Sundareswarar and the wonderful goddess of Shri Meenakshi makes us to feel the peace of mind and spiritual soul. All the hurdles, struggles, problems are all forgotten for the few minutes while we look at them and pray. This temple is located at around 11~14km from Electronic City. It is located on the main highway visible on the road. So the commute is easy. Going via NICE road makes the travel enjoyable and blissful. The scenery of the roadsides on the highway were awesome in the evening and would be gracious in the morning. Near to the temple, there is a Shopping Mall named Meenakshi which will be a good companion for the kids to enjoy the day after the divine dharshan of Shri Meenakshi Sundareswarar.

This is a famous temple of hindu deities Parvati(Here 5 eyed meenakshi) and Lord Shiva and have five massive gateways. This temple has its fascinating paintings and sculptures in all over the walls. But its very disappointing that all the temple yard are very dirty and maintenance is also poor. Pilgrims have to wait in long queue for offering worship to the goddess, which sometimes 6-7 hours!😰 No mobile, camera, bag even shoes are allowed. Men and women with exposed shoulder or leg is also prohibited. The main sanctums of Goddess Meenakshi and Lord Sundareshwara are open to only Hindu visitors!!! Most importantly, parking is 700m-1km away from the temple. So people have to leave important things in car and go barefooted on the dirty roads.

Located in Bannerughatta Road one of the oldest and beautiful temples in Bangalore. You have Godess Meenakshi, Sudareshwara, Ganesha, Subramanya, khala bhairava, Anjaneya Swamy, Ayyappa Swamy and many more. You have reasonable parking space in main road. The temple will be open till 1pm on Friday and other days it will be open till 12.30pm and again open evenings.

Calm, peaceful and a very beautiful temple on the busy main road. Once you enter it's entirely a different feeling. Lord Sundaresha and Meenakshi are the main deities along with other deities in the surrounding and also Navagraha. After pooja is performed in the morning prasadam is distributed. A Limited parking space is available. Very close to the Meenakshi Mall and Cave temple.

Divinity is in every temple. It is here too. The positive vibes, the cleanliness and the peace that one gets in a temple is very much here. You will not feel excited or happy or sad. You will be with yourself when you are here. Finish the Darshan, sit down and feel it.

This is how a temple should be. Though its not a very large temple, it gives the feel of an actual temple unlike the modern ones. Easy to locate as its on the Bannerghatta main road. They have demolished a small portion of the front side due to ongoing Metro work. There will be huge crowd on festive days, so plan accordingly and be prepared to stand in a queue for a while.

The temple is just as you expect it's relaxing, it calms your mind. And I loved the minimalistic no over the top decoration. But the evening hours or limited so you have to see timings properly.

Rating for the management and not for the temple. We offer clothes to the god every year, and last 2 years we couldn't due to covid restrictions. Now after submitting the clothes since 4 weeks we are just waiting for the ok nod from Dharmadhikari whom we could not reach by any mode. Nor he shows any interest at the devotees emotion. Lord Meenakshi to clear this mess.

It's not an old temple. The rarest thing I observed is that Goddess Meenakshi and few other Gods are facing south which is normally not observed.

Good place to get peaceful of mind because of the peaceful environment. Though the temple is situated in the main road where huge traffic will be there always, but the temple's atmosphere will give you calm and relaxing moments. One more reason is that temple is more spacious for the kids to play. The Design and appearance of all the sculptures are awesome handwork. You can refer my captures for the proofs. Temple is having pure drinking water facility and providing some Prasatham (small amount of food in a cup) to the devotees. One more attractive thing is outside the temple. There is a small shop, in which a woman is selling sculptures of God Sundareshwarar (Lingam), Ganpati, Nandhi and more in the size ranging from small to big, in less price. I came to know these sculptures were made of stones which are used inside the temple for Gods. Same stone material is used and Completely handmade. You can try this to gift your grandpa and grandma, they feel really happy. I Wish everyone to get the blessings of God Sundareshwarar and Goddess Meenakshi..

With simple architecture, this temple situated at Bannerughatta Road, Bengaluru has got popularity in short time. During festivals people visit this temple in large scale. Parking of four wheelers may become difficult once metro railway line is completed as a Metro. Station is situated just in front of the temple.

  • 5/5 Manoj L. 1 year ago on Google
Nice temple. Well maintained. Worth visiting. Limited parking and access to the place might be little difficult due ongoing metro work on bannerughatta road.

A large temple of Meenakshi Maa and Shivji. It is a very old temple and is of the same Deities as that of Madurai temple. The vibes are too good. There is a Royal Meenakshi Mall nearby which is of course named after this temple. You can plan for both and you will be happy. Jai Mata Di, Jai Shiv Shambhu 🙏🙏

A magnificent temple which stays calm amidst heavy traffic congestive roads. The temple is cleanly maintained and the main deities of the temple are Sri Meenakshi Amma and Sri Sundareshwara Swamy. There are other Gods and Goddesses worshipped are Sri Ganapati, Sri Subramanya Swamy, Sri Kalabhairava, Sri Nandi, Sri Navagrahas and Sri Padmavathi Sahita Venkateshwara Swami surrounding the main Sanctorum. It's having a beautiful Deepa Sthamba facing to Sri Sundareshwara Swamy. The main door having a good carpentry work and it looks very nice. The bad thing is the flooring stones around temple are very hot during mid sunny day and it's very difficult to walk on it.

We went to the temple on 14th Feb - being Vasantha Panchami and to our disappointment, we found that the temple was closed at 10.30 am itself . As Panchami is an important day during Navarathri ( Vasantha Navarathri) the temple authorities could have kept the temple open - entire day and if not at least upto 12.30 pm

The temple is nice... But the priest called Parameshwar does not respond properly to those who come to worship, he is always talking to people about real estate, again one of the requests from the religious leaders is to ask him to wear a panche shalya like a priest, he always wears a piece of cloth to take a bath. It would be so much worse. thank you
