This has got to be the best fish and chips shop in Lismore ... and the surrounding towns. We don't get our F&C from anywhere else if we are within range of the shop - love the taste and quality of the chips (can't stop till it's gone), and the fish is always done the way we like it - nice and crispy batter with juicy fish. We only get take away and the meal survives the long drive out of Lismore. Best thing is that it is really quite affordable, plus the owner always has a smile for us when we're there.

I’ve been a regular customer at Lucky’s since I moved to the area & we have never had an issue before tonight… we called and ordered ahead and was told 10mins, after waiting 30 mins I went to check on the progress and they said “it won’t be long” after 45mins I went back in and asked how much longer which they then advise they had lost my order, the lady handed back my money and said sorry.. no offering to quickly cook me some or anything. Yes, I understand you guys were busy but your customer service needs improving. I won’t be rushing back.

This is hands-down the best takeaway fish & chip shop in the Northern Rivers. You'd think Ballina, Byron, Lennox or anywhere closer to the coast would own that title but no...Lucky's has the best value, the friendliest service the freshest and the best cooked fish around here.

Avoid the marinated swordfish. It wasn’t fresh, and my mothers portion was half cooked. Best to stick with high turnover fish. I’ve had the grilled barramundi before and it wasn’t too bad. Would only come back here if there was nothing else.

The food is pretty good the only issue is that If They say the food will be 30 minutes, don't expect to have it within an hour.....it's been a reoccurring issue

$20.20 for single seafood pack. Chips were not nice. Very plain and undercooked. Fish was battered or crumbed, I ordered battered and was quite nice. Calamari rings were ok. Service was great food was ok.

Best calamari and bacon burger I ever had. Lovely staff, efficient and really an awesome fry up. Good old school fish n chippy are getting harder to find so go and support them. Delish

Great staff ,good fish but last two times we have had dinner there the chips are getting less and the burger buns are stale

It's a bonus to be able to choose the type of fish you want and get it cooked. Service is speedy and the fish is cooked perfectly.

Best fish and chips in Lismore! And home made potato scallops are amazing. Gets quite busy so recommend pre-ordering when possible, but we'll worth the wait

We came here specifically because of reviews and we wanted to support a local lismore business on our way through town. Staff were lovely and the food was fast. We had a chicken sandwich - very fresh and tasty. Seafood Basket for 1 is huge. I wouldn’t order anything else. When you see the destruction nearby it’s important to support businesses that have reopened.

Tasty and fresh fish ($5.40) even if it was on the smaller side. Sweet potato fries ($5) were nicely cooked and seasoned with just the right amount of salt. There is a nice variety on the menu to choose from with reasonable prices and the people serving are friendly as well.
