Wow busy town and beach. It is definatly a place you need to come to early in the morning to secure parking for the day. Stunning views. For the swimmers that like to be more relaxed there is a public pool near the beach. Easy enough to take a break in one of the local businesses near buy to grab a bite to eat. Lovely laid back town with the surfy vibe.

Diverted to Byron on our way to Brisbane in search of Chris Hemsworth and Matt Damon. As a Sydney boy it's exactly what I imagined it would be. After stopping at the beach for some photos (cos we're tourists so it's a must) we continued on our road trip. Sadly with no encounter of Thor or Jason Bourne. Perhaps next time.

An expansive and stunning beach where you can take your dog off leash. The water is beautiful and very clear for the most part and the tide goes out quite far which really opens the beach up. Several parking areas and lots of beach to walk along. There's also some shaded areas on the bank which are great, although mostly limited shade on this beach. Definitely one of the better beaches in Byron Bay where you can take your dog.

The off leash beach is so big your fur babies will definitely be worn out when they get home. We drove 2 hours from Brisbane and our dogs were dead to the world all the way home. Two happy fur brothers

Lovely long stretch of sandy beach, one of Byron’s many great spots. Quiet in June, but warm enough to perch in the sun and read for an hour. Water is rather cold for swimming at that time of year though! Doggy friendly section to the east end too.

Super Beach, super surf. Great place to stay, coffee shop has great combos coffee yes... Not far from Byron CBD walking distance or a short bike ride. And Covid-19 restrictions someone ate a bat.

What’s a stunning view of the ocean and sunset. Loved this beach and the fact that the caravan park was next to it where we were staying was a bonus. The kids had a great time so did I, as I finally managed to take some amazing shots and tips lapse videos on the beach. Next time I will book out one of the cabins. It’s a dog friendly beach lots of people were just sitting there and enjoying the sunset and a smoke ;)

Seemingly endless flat beach for relaxed walking. The sand is so comfortable for barefoot that's it's almost addictive. Lots of people walk their dogs on the beach as well.
