Tygarah Beach is Australia's most beautiful naturist beaches. My partner and I have been to many naturist beaches in Australia and we were awed by its size and sheer beauty. It is indeed in Australia's favour to be able to boast of such an awesome naturist beach. Though remote it is a haven for naturists and those who want to sunbathe au naturale. Be forewarned though that there is no shelter from the sweltering sun and the road can be challenging. Have a good driver to navigate the road potholes and choose a suitable time (less hot) to enjoy the beach or bring along a temporary sun shade and a full picnic basket with plentiful of liquids to stay hydrated. Enjoy! PS: Looking forward to have the road potholes repaired to make the beach more accessible.

It is just a beach. The car park is small. The parking costs $8 per day. There is not enough room to make a U turn and there is 8km of corrugated dirt road to get there. The government pays people to fine you $100 each, if you do not pay for the parking. The parking system is a donation envelope with a tear off section that is displayed on the dash of your car to show you have paid. As we arrived 2 ugly fat rude tattooed bearded Parks and Wildlife Rangers gleefully ticketed nearly 20 cars with $100 each, in on the spot fines. What a rort! There is a long drop toilet and no water. Bring your own water. Extremely badly managed and maintained. Horrible! We pay for Parks in both State and Federal Taxes. I am disgusted at usage charges for parks. It is simply Double Taxation and I hate it!

Great beach, you can take your cloths off. So many nice men asking every 5 minutes if i want some sunscreen rubbed in! So many friendly men!

Nice spot, nice and quiet during the week. Very busy on weekends and holidays mainly because it's a nudist beach. Right hand end 200mt from path is nudist so if your not into that turn left when you go down the track to the beach.

Tyagarah Beach is a beautiful location the clothing optional component of this beach is well marked and is located roughly 400m from the entrance ensuring you are not confronted by unwanted situations, parking costs $8 or you can purchase a yearly pass for around $22 through parks NSW which I recommend as you will likely return to this beautiful spot. This is one of the most beautiful naturist beaches and has plenty of water front that if your not so keen on stripping down you can still enjoy this beautiful beach away from the clothing optional component, there is also a number of walking tracks to explore. This is the closest Naturist beach to SE QLD and is definitely well worth the trip

Nice beach! Big waves today. Was busy today parking wise (Byron Bay Bluesfest) plenty of spots at the beach though, big strip. Nudist area, which is nice to know. Good sand and clear water, huge waves. Nice view on Byron Bay and even the lighthouse. Worth a visit. Just wondering is there lifeguards ever there?

Beautiful clean sandy beach - you can walk either way to Byron or Brunswick heads, car park can get crowded and needs parks pass/payment
