This is a fantastic experience and a very well designed park!👍🏻 The tour guides have several different places of demonstrations so they can operate independently and simultaneously and keep things moving so it doesn't get too crowded. The efficiency in Asia always fascinates me. This is a country that has learned how to do with tours and ticketing and moving people along. 🤩 Initially it was a bit unnerving to be traveling through the jungle while hearing gunfire 🙉 But then you learn that is one of the things you can do is to fire an automatic weapon.😲 If you are not on a tour. I'm not sure the firing range is conveniently located right next to the food court 😬🙉 A very informative and enlightening adventure. ☑️

Great to learn about the underground tunnel but I would not recommend the experience. -you can go inside one short tunnel but it's not worth it, it's cramped, muddy, and difficult to breath. -traps and weapons were cool to check out -only snacks for purchase -souvenir shop available -lots of bugs and mosquitos -shooting range is loud and you have to go through this area to pass through the tour, bring your own ear plugs, your ear drums will hurt Consider this... It's a 4 hour round trip from the city for a 1 hour tour

After working 2 years in Canada, when I came back to my home country, this is the second time I have experienced that Saigon Lifestyle Cruises showed me these best picturesque sceneries. Although sometimes it was raining a little bit, my enthusiastic tour leaders, who very polite, keep supporting us about Vietnamese history whenever we need. It was such beautiful moments. I'm pleased to be with SLC. I will come back in December this year with friends

I hired a travel guide to take me to CU Chi tunnels I am glad it was someone who knew his way around, it's a kind of a jungle but with help in picking up my wheelchair whenever required and walking a few steps with help I managed to see the place. it's very historical no doubt but it would be great for a person who likes history and it is fully made up for tourists. I am not a history kind of a person but since it was a very natural environment so I liked the tour. I must mention that when taking a tour there is a point when you are offered tapioca with Vietnamese tea I was really hungry and the people out there are so friendly and so Vietnamese. I clicked some awesome pictures with them and they helped me with my wheelchair and me all the way through because there are a lot of steps that have to be climbed to get out of that place, so if there are some muscle men around you and can lift up your chair with you in it as you cannot get out of it at all then you can definitely do this tour otherwise maybe not.

Did this with a guided tour from my accommodation. I would probably recommend just going there and getting a guide from there as you will spend more time and learn a lot more. Vietnamese were very smart with their tactics. It's well laid out with lots to see with a shooting range in the oddly so don't be alarmed when you hear someone blasting an AK47 through their full round. Bring ear plugs if you need as it's right beside the food and washrooms.

Amazing if you want to see the tunnels and when you are interested in the Vietnam war. Only it’s very touristic and that’s why we couldn’t see everything properly. Our guide was very kind and explained everything about the war. There is also a possibility to shoot at the shooting range. At first it seems cheap: 60K for one bullet. But a whole magazine can be up to 2M. So it’s pretty expensive because you’ll shoot your money away within 10 sec 😂.

Wonderful place. You can go to Cu Chi tunnel by many tours from Ho Chi Minh city or you could go directly there. There is English speaking tour too, just inform to them you need it. Great movie to understand why the tunnel created. Then you go to the real tunnel to see. Surely, you can try to go down the tunnel as local army men if you want to. They make tunnel bigger so big person could go inside in first layer. There are 3-5 layers down there. There are some free activities you can try as local people. Local foods with tea are free offer there. Nice walking, good for any kind of travellers

Was such an amazing an informative trip. We booked a full VIP day trip tour from Ho Chi Minh. There was not many people due to tours only just begining to operate again as a result of covid. I can imagine it'd be extremely busy during peak season with tourists. One of my faves was definately firing the guns. AK47, M16 & M60. Although a but pricey. 100% worth it. Loved it ❤️‍🩹

This place is where they explain the history of the American Vietnam war where the locals dug tunnels to defend themselves and fight the enemies. You will need to buy a ticket for entrance. The place is quite interesting and it shows multiple traps, tunnels and tools used in the war. Near to the end, they will give you an opportunity to experience a real long tunnel. It has multiple exits in case you do not want to complete the entire journey. At the end of the course they will show you of a short video of the history. It's quite far from the city so it will take some time to reach. It usually take a few hours to fully explore the place with a guide.

You really must visit with a guide to get the most out of this place. The tunnels, traps, etc. are interesting and you can appreciate the engineering that went into them. However, they really need to update the propaganda film they show you! It is from the 70’s, difficult to understand, and talks constantly about “the Americans “. Granted the Americans DID bomb the hell out of them but what they fail to mention is that it WAS a civil war and they killed way more Vietnamese than Americans! They could produce a more modern, more intelligible, and more honest film that adds way more to the experience than what they have. Finally, they have a shooting range so if you don’t mind paying 2/3 dollars per bullet, you can fire weapons from the war.

This was a very interesting and worth while stop. There is so much to see, learn and be a part of. Crawl the tunnels, shop for souvenirs, learn the history and shoot the guns! I highly recommend adding this to your schedule.

A bit far but well worth the visit. The guide was very funny and informative. I liked he kept things concise and to the point. Encouraged pictures and questions alike. Be prepared for the heat and long walk as well. You can opt to go in the tunnel if you wish but can be hard for tall and bigger people as you need to bend low. Claustrophobic people don't bother it is very narrow. Overall a good time they offer tapioca and tea towards the end for free which was nice.

I recommend going with a tour, like Vietnam adventure tour, because they organise transport there and back and provide stories of each part. You can also go inside the tunnels but it's very small, you cannot stand and have to crawl. It can be for a long time. You can also shoot an ak 47, it's about 5 USD for 5 bullets. While you are going through the tour you can hear the ak 47 going off all the time, which makes it more realistic. Imagine if they added mortars that would have been crazy.

Great day out, was very interesting. You can actually go in the tunnels. For 20 meter up to 100 meter... its very hot in the tunnel but manageable to try it out.. you stop off and have drinks half way through the visit at the shooting range..bit highly recommended 👌

Located around 60km from Saigon/Ho Chi Minh the drive took about 2 hours. The forest area is very impressive with tunnels and camps displaying the life that was lived and the warfare that took place there. It is the only area where the tunnel system was used due to the ground water in other areas. The tour was very nice. To crawl through the tunnels is not for the faint-hearted and requires a good level of fitness and a small body stature. Don't attempt if you are claustrophobic. Smoking not allowed in the forest, a wheelchair will struggle. It's family friendly, the walk is about 1.5km.

This is a must visit place if you are in Ho Chi Minh City. The place takes you back to how the Vietnamese soldiers lived and survived the war. After the trip, you might feel a bit sad but, you get to know the history and experience it. There are many tour agencies that conduct a half day tour to the infamous Cu Chi Tunnels. One recommendation - Do not visit by yourself. Take a guided tour.

Awesome tour! We booked a tour with our hotel it cost about $45.00 USD each. The guide picked us up at the hotel at 9:30 and took us to the tunnels. It was a really great experience. Climbing through the tunnels and learning the different tactics used during the war was an awesome experience. There was a lot to do and learn packed into a half day. I highly recommend you visit here!

This is a must do when visiting Vietnam. Such an eye opener learning about history, the horrors of war and ingenuity of the Viet Cong guerrillas. There is a temple, restaurant, give shop with some nice crafts too. And you can even try shooting a real AK47, M16, etc cost about $2-$3 per bullet Try going through some of the tunnels and explore..it's well worth having a guide.. Im already looking forward to next visit

The Cu Chi Tunnels Tour is an incredible, once-in-a-lifetime experience. Don't miss this tour if you visit Saigon/HoChi Minh City. You leave with a greater understanding and respect for everyone involved in this conflict. Nelson was my tour guide; he is one of the best. He is professional, friendly, knowledgeable, open and honest. I appreciated this experience.

A pleasure and education experience. 6,000VND to park bicycle. The route is not well signposted, and is made for organised tours. There is a big tunnel from car park and entrance payment area with the normal gift shop to route through. Then down and up a wide clean concrete tunnel under road and emerge next to a number of thatched roof Huts all exhibiting 1970's 'education' movie. A tunnel tour guide grabbed us as we headed towards the 'tank' walking route after watching the movie. The guide is free and provides a lot of interesting info, demonstrates some scary enemy entrapment techniques and various works in the tunnel city. Also a 100metres wander in the tight tunnels as an experience. Also tasted a type of yam root with tea. Tour is about an hour.

Funny to hear a different perspective of the Vietnam war by the locals. To them, the US are the ones that are taking away their livelihood, and their are opposing them because of that.

Heart breaking movie related to the war and how people used tricks and brains to survive in those tunnels. The guide will explain everything in details and trust me you will love the stories. It seems millions of bombs were dropped and some of them are remain unexplored and there is a small museum where they have showcased all the bombs and how the Vietnamese used to make weapons from those American bombs. Coming to the tunnels, It was a thrilling adventure to crawl in and out of the tunnels. A guide will go with you so that you don't lose your way. There are many tunnel network inside. Strangely those tunnels have ventilations. And there are some rules before you start crawling inside the tunnels. Overall, it is a must and one should remember it for a lifetime.

Amazing experience learning about the tunnels and how they lived during the war. The tour guide on site was very knowledgeable and he was a pleasure to have taken us round. You can also fire real weapons from the Vietnam war. Over all highly recommended

It's really cool to hear more about the Vietnam war. The tunnels are insane! The one you can actually "crawl" through is bigger than what they actually had to use in the 60s. I can't believe people lived there for up to 1 week and some children were even birthed down there! I went with An Travel Tours. Highly recommend them too.

Amazing experience. Great tour with an informative tour guide who had a great sense of humor to enlighten the tour group. This is a thumbs up to them as talking about the Vietnam War it is a sad tragic event and with many information that is of a serious nature, he still managed to find humor jokes to keep us all laughing and entertained. I think that adds to the experience and with an open mind to willing to learn about another culture. You get to watch a short video at the beginning and then our group explored the trail route along the way. We saw how people used to live in the tunnels and explained how they were dug and the tunnel networks. We saw many trap device that were made and tunnel mounds for breathing vents and allow cooking smoke vents out. We saw old crater caused by bombs. If you want to you can try firing some live ammunition at their firing range. This is an additional cost not included. This is optional if you want to try and want to pay for the experience. We also got to try some tapioca and I think rice tea which were the staple diet of what the Viet people had during those times. My only down side was the tour could be a little bit longer to experience more of the tunnels. Also along the route we stopped by and saw a lovely place where I believe their are workers who had some disability but had extraordinary craftsman skills creating artworks out of duck shells to create sculptures, art canvas, pottery and jewelry boxes. Their skills were astonishing.

This is a must tour. I went with Saigon River tours, and the river speed boat ride was awesome. The Chu chi tunnels were a great lesson in history, and it was really awesome to learn how smart people are/were. The tunnel system and how it worked is amazing.

It was a great experience and was very educational for those interested in the Vietnam War (French/US/Australian, etc) period. We went by boat and highly recommend the Saigon River Tour (TripAdvisor). 'Rambo', the type guide was brilliant and gave fantastic commentary on all facets of the war.

Visiting the Cu Chi tunnels takes up at least half of your day. We went through Kim Travels, Mr. Long Honda was a very good and jovial guide. Wear your walking shoes, carry a folding fan and definitely try walking in the tunnel. I tried the 20 or 100 meter tunnel, if you do not suffer from back aches you simply need to crouch a bit to walk through them. I am someone who feels claustrophobic but with my phone torch it was pretty doable.

Great visit to an amazing place of historic with torture to many. Can be over whelming to some and minds shift of how these people were ever treated. If anyone is unsure of why you should go......history speaks for itself. Go to the war museum in Ho Chi Minh then to this amazing place, it all comes together and your emotions for both places just warrant where they have been and reacted. To fire an AK47 like they did, but at a lot younger age ...some 14 I just can't imagine how they went by .......they fought for their country with pride. Respect.

The area of Cu Chi is undoubtedly characterised by its perseverance and determination at rebuilding itself after the ravages of the Vietnam War. The area played a pivotal role in the defeat of US troops during the war and is famous for its network of underground tunnels. The labyrinthian network of tunnels was used to conceal the Viet Cong troops and allowed them to send secret communications and stage covert attacks. The tunnels in Cu Chi have become an iconic wartime relic and have are a popular tourist destination for those keen to discover the remarkable measures the Viet Cong soldiers took to survive, and ultimately defeat their enemies. Although the tunnels in Cu Chi have become world famous, the whole system stretches across Vietnam, unravelling underneath the towns and cities, reaching as far as Cambodia in some places.

It’s nice place to visit, amazing tuner where you can learn how Vietnamese people could dig such a long 250km distance and made whole life under the tuner and fighting in the world … historical place and memories. Beside that you can try shooting real run inside 🙈

It was a very enlightening experience. I learned a lot about the Vietnam war and their strategies to fight their enemies. The tunnel was a bit frightening for me but I highly recommend you to visit. Bring some wet pads/towels in case you ended up crawling as myself inside the tunnel.

The history and the way they put this together is well worth the visit! It did rain heavily while we were there, so we missed touring the tunnels! Otherwise, it is great to see the different types of tunnel openings, traps and how the tunnel system operated.

very interesting place to learn about the Vietnamese war. See all the traps and tactics they have used against the u.s., how the tunnelsystem is build. You can go inside in a little bigger then they originally tunnel (25 up to 100m). Also there is a shooting range (AK-47, M16, M60 and some more) tour guide tells it is the only official one in Vietnam.

It was a sunny day when we visited this place. It was very humid. Location is in forest. Primary details are explained by official guide .He also demonstrated some of traps. Interesting place to visit and learn how Vietnams people fought with Enemies. In the tunnels for 20 years. Unless you visit the tunnels one cannot understand its unique nature. You can experience and do real firings with various guns including AK49. Special firing range is there and trained persons help you to do actual firing off course to a fee. Visit and experience it

Fun to visit, but WEAR BUG SPRAY. The mosquitoes do not play in those forests. It's also suuuuuper hot so bring WATER. If you think you can do the whole 100 meters of the claustrophobia tunnels without going to the gym, think again. Super interesting though highly recommend.

Very interesting to learn about how the Vietnamese use different tactic to fight off against the American army back during the Vietnam war. The traps and setups were strategic and smart. The tunnel that they built is over 60km long spanning around. There were many creative ways of surviving down in the tunnels during the war, with a development of ventilation and other means. Definitely worth the visit for those who are interested in finding more about the history of the Vietnam war.

I wanted to visit here before I came to Vietnam and was not disappointed. It was a very interesting tour experience which included a short crawl through one part of the tunnels - very compact and not for those people who can't cope with confined spaces. Well worth a look at how these people lived during the war

Tour was great and guide helpful and informative. Incredibly interesting and all very well presented. Boat trip up Saigon River brilliant. Only fault tour guide at end of trip insists we all give both he and boat driver good tips because they don't get paid much and boat not full, neither of which is our fault and we paid alot to go on trip. Every other tour we did over 3 weeks at most put a jar out for us to give tips or expected nothing and were incredibly grateful when tipped.

Ben Dinh Tunnels is visiting place of Viet Nam War, situated at 40km North of Saigon, this place still show the real tunnels as in war before. Entrance ticket is VND 110.000, the visit last about 2 hours. You can look at a documentary film before going to the system, than see the secret entrances, the traps, the military factory, the clothing maker, the shoe maker, experience the tunnels at 3 levels 3m,6m, 9m depth, than having VC Lunch in the kitchen system. It’s quite interesting.

Wonderful sneak peak into the lives of soldiers and civilian during a war. Pros: 1. You can get your hands on a real AK 47 for one round of shooting (60k dong per bullet, minimum 10 bullets per person) 2. The guerrilla tactics deployed are a superb 3. The underground tunnel system was a brilliant idea Cons: 1. More than an hour's drive from the city 2. When it rains, the area becomes muddy

The museum gives a brief insight to the history. One can experience the 100m tunnel here and crawl through them. Apart from them, life size exhibits are placed for demonstration. The tour guide seemed to be personally involved in the war. The scars of war still is deep in the Viet society. HNorange toxicity is still rampant. The tunnel tour will take about 1-1.5Hr though to reach this place from Ho Chi Minh City one takes 2-3Hrs. Worth a visit. The last tour to this place from the city starts about 1500hrs.

The journey to Ben Dinh Tunnel was almost 2 hours from Ho Chi Min city. The travel guide was humorous, lively and knowledgeable which provided much relieved from an otherwise long journey. The Tunnel and it's history brought some insight and realism to what we have read and seen in documentaries. The amazing design of the Tunnel, the deep thoughts and methodology put into hiding it, the discipline of the rules of living in one gives you both a sense of the intelligence involved and the hell they lived through it.

I went with a guide who translated every question I had to a veteran who was working there. It was a great experience as I was interviewing the guy for 45 minutes. Then the experience in the tunnels was a piece of history. Very great memories of real warriors defending their land.

Did this tour with Vietnam Adventure Tours on a half day, afternoon visit. See separate review about them. The tunnels are great and they are always adding bits to them. I have been 3 times in 6 years. The sound and smell of the firing range is epic and adds to the feeling. I had read a review saying the guns were too loud! That's just 2 guns, imagine 2 fighting groups facing off in the real American War. The history and information depends on how good your guide is (most are excellent) but maybe do some research about the tunnels before you come so you have an idea of what these mean. It was raining when I went but that just adds to the ambiance of the experience.

A must visit if your in town in Saigon. A great learning experience. Learn about the construction of the tunnels, the traps, the concealment of entrances, breathing holes etc. You can try and fire rifles like the Ak47, M1 Garand, M16 etc. However you will have to purchase the bullets, minimum 10 bullets in order to have a chance to fire the weapons. Its a half day tour which you will not regret.

Must see museum to get overall understanding of the Vietnam War was fought and how it was not just a physical but a mental war for most people on both sides. Tip: 1. Visit with a guide is recommended. 2. There is a shooting range inside, so it can get loud whilst you are in there. I would suggest to take ear plugs if you can't handle loud noises. If you can't bear the gun noises (due to trigger issues), it is a strict no-no. 3. Ensure you have applied mosquito repellent as well.

It was fascinating as we had our own Vietnamese guide from our tour. He engaged with the on-site employees and we were privileged with authenticity of this dreadful war. The live ammunition fire whilst following the trail through the jungle was pretty scary and when we reached the Centre the volume of the firing was another level. Incredible ingenuity used by the Vietnamese which was never portrayed at the actual time as it was mostly about how bad it was for the Americans. I understand more now why there was such reluctance to be involved. Well worth visiting with an open mind.
