A small place with a lot of foreigners came in for the service. The restaurant can be crowded so you might need to be wait a bit before they can seat you in. I got the avocado bacon toast. The taste is great, generous amount of bacon (4-5 strips). The egg was also great. For the egg coffee, the taste is not exactly the same as the one you have in Hanoi, but the sweetness is okay compare to the eggs coffee in HaNoi. The service was great, quick, and friendly.

Absolutely beautiful and a hidden gem! Tucked in a street corner, this cafe is a little difficult to spot but well worth it. The atmosphere and vibe of this place is so chill and the egg coffee is amazing. You MUST try it, it's amazing. Prices are cheap too. Oh and the side dish Cha Com Hanoi is amazing, do try it! Highly recommended.

Impressive set up and atmosphere. Somehow reminds me of Hanoi for real. The tea is good. I order chicken sandwich with cheese, tomatoes and avocado inside. It was above average 7/10. It is a nice place to drink egg coffee too as I smelt nothing else except for coffee and egg taste, very nice at all. Will come here again. I unfortunately lost my motorcycle parking ticket but the security kindly let me go since I have my blue card of the vehicle.

Nostalgia and good food rolled into one--the coffee wasn't too bad either 😁 Seriously, one of the best cups of coffee I've ever tasted since I've been in Saigon. The egg coffee was truly excellent as well. The toasts were wonderful. We're definitely coming back, perhaps try the other location next time. AMBIANCE to a tee!

Egg coffee didn’t disappoint! 💛 We ordered avocado toast and mango toast (Im not sure about the name anymore, but it has mango 😂) and I honestly liked the Mango one better! Coffee price was good for what you get. The ambience was pretty nice as we went there at night. They have free postcards by the way! Tysm! 🥰 Went here last August 3, 2023.

Truly amazing place for breakfast or brunch. So happy we tried this place out and randomly stumbled upon it! We got the egg coffee iced which is a must if you come here. It also obviously comes in hot. It was delicious! We got the avocado toast along with mango yogurt. Both were great! Prices are very fair and the portions are good as well especially for breakfast. A nice bonus is that they give you free tea with your order. So sweet. Lastly the staff is all super nice.

Lovely "hidden gem" cafe in a narrow alley. The interior is thoughtful and cozy. Delicious vietnam black coffee and coffee with egg yolk. Great menu for brunch - avocado bacon toast was huge. Cash only when we visited. Staff was friendly if a little hesitant, don't be shy to go pay yourself.

If you are looking for a unique and delicious coffee experience in Ho Chi Minh, you should definitely visit the Little HaNoi. This cafe serves the traditional Hanoi egg coffee, which is a drink made with egg yolks, sugar, condensed milk and robusta coffee. The egg coffee here is amazing - thick, creamy, and rich in flavor. It is like drinking a dessert, but not too sweet. You can choose to have it hot or cold, depending on your preference. I ordered the hot version, which comes in a small cup with a thick, foamy egg-based head. The hot coffee helps to melt the egg cream and create a smooth and balanced taste. The cafe itself is cozy and charming, with a lot of character and history. The decor is simple and elegant, with wooden furniture and Vietnamese paintings on the walls. The staff are friendly and attentive, and they make you feel welcome. I requested for faster preparation as I had to catch a bus and they prioritized my order. This is a must-visit place for anyone who loves coffee and wants to experience a unique Vietnamese specialty. I highly recommend it!

Such a lovely place! Their egg coffee even better than Hanois one, Hands down. I did find toast a bit overpriced but still good. Staff is friendly. Great spot for dates.

This was my second visit to little Hanoi egg coffee but my first visit to this outlet. Again its a well hidden cafe which one need some effort to locate it. This outlet is located right inside a back lane with some food stalls at the entrance of the back lane. Cafe was nicely set up, air conditioned and comfortable. Suitable for family with young children or elderly. Nevertheless the egg coffee was good and creamy, unfortunately we didn’t try any of their food menu. Will be back again someday.

It’s tucked behind an alley so don’t miss it! There was a short wait when we arrived at breakfast time. Staff were polite and offered us the option of heading to the other 2 outlets as well but we decided to wait. Famous egg coffee was interesting. Pork noodles were great and the mango toast wasn’t sour at all. Freebies such as post cards and pouches were available as well, which was a sweet touch. Would come back again to try other dishes for sure!

The egg coffee was really good and very creamy! My mother tried the mango toast and she loved it! I had the avocado toast and I was really surprised because the avocado was also hot. Normally, I am used to just having the bread hot and spread avocado on top of it. Nonetheless, it was still tasty and the poached egg was runny. We went around 5pm and there were plenty of empty tables. The staff were very friendly and the service was very fast. I would definitely return here for a coffee and/or brunch.

This place can get packed. They have limited space and if it gets too full you have to line up outside which can be hot and humid. They offer another location which is walking distance. We didn’t order any food but from the look of the other table the food looks good. We mainly came there for the drink. The egg coffee both hot and cold were not as good as other place I’ve been to. The coffee was more bitter and didn’t have any coffee aroma that I’m used to. I did also order the Logan tea. It was a bit sweet but I actually like that. Only con is they offer water when you sit down. Those cup have a residue egg coffee smell

Really cool and cozy cafe. Upstairs they have a ton of books in different languages. They give you complimentary ice tea which is oh so refreshing in this insane heat! Im not an egg coffee connoisseur by any stretch of the imagination, however, I have had a few so far in Vietnam, and Little HaNoi easily outclasses them all. I might just ask for the cream by itself next time, so good! We had both the cold and hot versions, and I would definitely choose the cold version, so refreshing and I think it mixes better with the cream. However, you can't go wrong with both.

Great place to visit when you are in hcm. Staffs are very friendly and speak English very well. Fully air conditioning, very cooling. The egg coffee was great, one of the kind. The coffee is at the bottom and it’s only around 10% of the cup. So I ordered another glass of ice coffee. Highly recommended

A nice hidden gem of Saigon! We went there for breakfast first thing in the more and couldn't have had a better start of the day. We sat on the second floor of the cafe and ordered the egg avocado combo which comes with their specialty: egg coffee which is a must try! One combo is 100k so it's reasonably priced. The service was fast and the ambiance was relax. Staff was friendly and with plenty of good vibes. Would definitely recommend

Service and atmosphere was great. It’s recommended to come early to have a more peaceful environment to enjoy their delicious egg coffee. The mango toast was nice and unique as well, but if you’re not into more sour fruits I would recommend sticking to safer options like avocado toast. The egg coffee is a must try!

What a cute hidden gem! Went here obviously for the egg coffee. It takes quite a while to get used to the taste. I felt like I was eating/drinking creamy foam most of the time, which can go well with chiffon cake. Nevertheless, it was a unique drink. The venue was crazy tiny and steep! I would recommend for the younger people but for those older especially with muscle and bone conditions , it might be a challenge climbing up.

A hidden café. Hard to find at first. But it’s a great place to chill and relax. The service was superb. Must try is the famous Egg coffee. As an added bonus. You can get a free postcard as a souvenir and free fish shaped biscuits to munch on while waiting for the order.

This Little Hanoi was tucked away in an alley. It has a charming and homely atmosphere that instantly made us feel welcome. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, enhancing our overall experience. Although we didn't have the opportunity to try their food, we did indulge in their delightful beverages. The egg coffee was a true delight, with its rich and delicious flavor. However, it was the lemongrass kumquat ginger tea that truly captivated us. The unique combination of flavors was an experience like no other, and we both fell in love with it after just one sip. I’m still dreaming about it to this day. Additionally, the presence of a playful kitten added an extra layer of enjoyment to our morning visit. I will be frequenting this cafe a lot when I am back in Vietnam!

This is a cute cafe spot for anyone who would like a calm and relaxing atmosphere for a cafe. We went in the evening so there weren’t a lot of people, which we prefer. The egg coffee was very delicious, the egg foam on top was creamy and silky. The coffee part is quite bitter for my liking. We mixed the egg foam in the coffee and it helped make it less bitter, but not sweet enough for me personally. The decor is nicely chosen; there are photo portraits that represents Vietnam and during war time. Great experience and worth going to when in Saigon/HCMC.

Like people say it could be a bit tricky to find. It's in the alley a bit hidden. The place is super cosy and well decorated. Staff are super sweet and service minded. We all had sandwiches and they were all very tasty. Generous portions and nice ingredients. A small minus for the overcooked poached egg that made the dish suddenly a bit dry (see the picture). I'm sure they'll nail it next time and I highly recommend this place!

We had the egg coffee here 3 times while in Saigon! I was so surprised how smooth the coffee was. I also thought it might be too sweet, but no, just right. The places is small but very cute, small upstairs with a sofa and table! They have another location about 10 minutes away that isn’t as good! Definitely need to come here when your in Saigon! Cute cafe hidden in an alleyway. Their specialty is egg coffee with hot and cold options. Egg coffee is absolutley delicious; sweet and creamy. The cafe also serve breakfast items such as avocado toast with eggs and bacon. The food menu is small but ingredients were fresh. Staff is friendly with great service. Air conditioning is available tho it wasn't strong but sufficient. Spent a little less than $20 usd for two avocado toast, dipping bread in egg cream, fried rice spring onion dish, and 1 egg coffee.

They earned their good reputation. The food was delicious and very affordable. We got the egg coffee and it was perfect. Avocado egg toast was way more filling than I expected it to be, they really were generous with the avocado. The first location was full and they told us we could wait to go to the second location 150m away that just opened. We went to the second location and it was very quiet and calm. The staff at both locations are great.

Our first breakfast in Ho Chi Minh and recommended by our hotel. Absolute gem of a spot. We found it slightly difficult to find from directions but maps helped us choose the right ally to go down. Food was delicious and our first experience at trying the egg coffee, outstanding. Best we have had in Ho Chi Minh. Recommended.

Highly recommend! The best cafe my wife and I have been to so far while travelling Ho Chi Minh. Staff were extremely, fast and great service. The Egg coffee is a must try as well. We will definitely be back during our trip and the next time we’re in town. The restaurant is double story with plenty of seating spread out. Even if the restaurant was full to capacity it would still feel roomy. It has a great cozy vibe with amazing historical Vietnamese photos and decor. Amazing vibe with amazing food and amazing staff.

Tried Egg Coffee from Little Hanoi Egg coffee cafe. It was nice. The creamy layer above was awesome and as they say the coffee at the bottom is too bitter. They have a card on each table on how to properly drink the egg coffee. The staffs are so polite and friendly. Ambience is so nice that you can spend your whole day here just sitting and reading books. They have some collection of books to read. The wall are filled with historic photos from vietnamese war, their social leader etc… Overall we had a very good experience.

Great for the experience, service was rather slow considering the shortage of staff. We were on the upper floor and waiter was too busy downstairs instead of assisting us upstairs. Food was great, coffee was egg-cellent! 😂

Got my first sip of the famous egg coffee and surprisingly I enjoyed it. I brought banh mi with me and ask the friendly staff if it’s okay to eat it inside and she said it’s fine. I also ordered the mango toast which is a ripe indian mango in the Philippines with cream cheese and honey. Tastes so good. Place is small so there would be times that there’s no place to dine inside.

This is really cosy place to hang out with friends. Staff are really courteous. Egg Coffee was super creamy at only 40000 dong. Absolutely loved this place. They also served some flavoured water which is good for digestion. Place is highly recommended for Egg Coffee. Later on I also tried Hot Egg Coffee, which was also creamier and slightly bitter. Personally I like cold egg Coffee.

Great place for breakfast, maybe a bit touristic but food good ,price’s affordable. Clean place, vintage style. I think its right place to try traditional “egg coffee”. Also u have complimentary ice tea instead of water which is nice This location mostly full, but second location 150m away. We went there and next morning had breakfast at “yersin” I like first one better. More chill. But staff at both locations are nice, speak English and so polite.

A small, double storey, pleasant cafe to chill in located inside a little alley. They provide Ice cold complimentary, complimenting, refreshing tea to go with the hot egg coffee. The coffee taste uniquely creamy, sweet, thick and very tasty (I seldom use this word for coffee but it really is tasty. A word of caution, it’s a “heavy”, cheesey drink to consume, defiantly not your normal espresso with milk type of coffee. I just love the taste being so unique, but I find it to be too “jilat” halfway through - aka nice at the first few gulps, too thick, creamy and sweet in subsequent sips :p still really nice though. A must go cafe to try out this unique drink if you haven’t been.

  • 5/5 Petr F. 4 months ago on Google
The cafe has a very pleasant atmosphere. The egg coffee was excellent and the avocado toast with perfectly cooked bacon and poached egg was also excellent. I highly recommend visiting the cafe, soaking up the atmosphere and enjoying the delicacies here.

Very special egg coffees that tastes desserty and unique. Thick creamy texture and sweet and bitter contrast is very satiating to have. Their interior decor is very 90s, a nostalgic feeling of being in old house’s back yard. I like how they promote no-plastic and offering dining in with “slow-culture” for the customers to enjoy their stay.

Nice cozy place serving good egg coffee. They have both the hot + cold. But the seats are pretty limited when its peak (weekend) however there are few branches nearby. The food menu however are mostly sandwiches. The egg bread dip is pretty yummy!

Very friendly and good service Great taste of toasts with different stuffins and toppings I wish to try more next time. Good price too. I am not an expert in egg coffee/egg cacao but I like the way it comes with a bowl of water so the coffee remains warm and soft. Peaceful atmosphere for quiet talk and work alone.

Visited 2 of their locations and this one was the best! Had the hot egg coffee and a cold egg coffee and it was wonderful. More than the an incredible egg coffee, the place itself has a really good ethos. It was raining and they gave out free raincoats to take, the iced coffee was served with a glass straw, they also have great postcards of Vietnam for free. Best of all they had a young and engaging staff that seemed to really enjoy their work and get along well! Also very chill atmosphere with great wall art and music.

Quaint little cafe, slightly hidden in an alley. Definitely tourist friendly and Instagram geared, with good cafe and food to boot. I had the egg coffee and the cha com hanoi chien. The coffee was surprisingly sweetly and creamy, while the latter was savoury and actually quite filling despite being a side. The service is impeccable, the staff offered to walk a group to another spot when there was no space left. It does fill up fast because it’s small, so be sure to come early.

I wasn’t expecting much on the egg coffee. But I was surprised how creamy and bold the flavor is. It reminds me of dalgona craze haha. Must try if you are in the area. The banana toast is fine. Ambiance is cozy. Really a hidden gem.

This place was great! The staff were always so kind and welcoming. This was our first place we tried egg coffee on our trip and it didn’t disappoint. I think in our 5 days here we went 4/5 days. We got egg coffee iced and hot, matcha egg tea, cocoa egg, black coffee and we also got the bacon avocado toast and peanut butter banana toast. Each item was high quality and served to you quickly. They also serve you iced tea each visit for free and it has a very light but delicious taste. Absolutely worth the wait if there is one - it goes quick!

  • 4/5 Ruby G. 9 months ago on Google
Lovely place! I got the egg matcha (hot as recommended) and it was pretty good but the hot egg coffee is definitely better. The matcha is a bit too sweet and the bitterness of the coffee matches the egg cream better. They gave complimentary iced tea which was nice, tasted a bit cinnamon spicy. They also have complimentary postcards and red packet envelopes on which you can write your wishes and attach them to hang from a mini tree. The iced egg coffee is not bad but hot is definitely better.

Wonderful cafe. All the servers were very kind and gave us iced tea upon arrival which we really appreciated as it was a very hot day. The hot egg coffee is a must try! Given it's sweetness, I would recommend toast to go along with it.

Hidden little spot in an alley, wonderful coffee and lovely welcoming staff. The aroma of egg coffee is so deeply rich in taste, the bast I've had here so far. I had noth the iced and hot one and can't tell which one is better. The atmosphere and interior are vintage and old-fashioned, which gives this cafe such a unique vibe.

The egg drinks aren't the best, but the ambiance and the service are incredible. They served complimentary drinks once you arrived, which is great! Ordered a 50.000VND tea that comes in a big pot that lasts quite long and served with three boxed sweets that complement the bitterness of the tea. A good small alley cafe for you to chill and relax.

This is a chain coffee shop, I happened to visit the one in Yersin. To enter, you need to go through a small alley, but from outside the alley you can already see its yellow color. If it’s your first time drinking the egg coffee, try the hot one. It’s very creamy and sweet. I tried their mango toast (with honey and chia seed) as well and thats amazing. 5/5 hospitality, they refill your water bottle for free, give you a free ice tea when you come in, and you can grab free post cards too!

Really cute cafe tucked away off the main streets. The vibe and atmosphere is really chill, there's LoFi music playing, servers are really laid back in baggy/comfy clothes with headphones in all very chill, the library vibes are calming and the seats/sofas are so comfy. The mango toast was delicious! However the main reason we ventured here was for the famous Hanoi egg coffee which we thought wasn't as good as other options in Saigon. Also the majority of people were clearly just there for an Instagram or photo spot. Overall really cute spot, nice vibe, good location but slightly disappointed with the main star of the show, the egg coffee.

A breath of fresh air (figuratively) in this bustling city. The staff were super polite and courteous, and provided a free iced coffee upon sitting down. Food was delicious and well presented. The restaurant was clean, and played calming music. They also offer free snacks, and small amenities for people in need. Great initiative. They also don’t use plastic, which was a bonus for me. Ho Chi Minh is a beautiful and bustling city, but this is the perfect spot if you just want to wind down a bit before kicking off again.

The second time, I was not satisfied For food and service, Perhaps because it was later and the service was tired and not very patient. Also while I was eating they started to clean the tables near mine, with detergents with a very stro...

😠 It's a street full of pubs. That's about it. Blaring musics. Girls dancing on stage. Tourist. Not recommended. Too noisy. But what really put me off is the people... There can be up to 5 persons grabbing my arms my bags to lead me to their pubs. I have to constantly struggle to keep their hands off...

😠 They have tried the best to serve the best their chef can cook the Margarita Pizza, however either they do not know how to make pizza or making fool out of customers. Because of too much water in base sauce, its not properly cooked. Also the extra toppings which supposed to be baked with pizza, wer...
