Nice place. We ordered the miss Saigon cocktail and we drank the cocktails however when I went to pay the bill I learned it was not a miss Saigon it was a different cocktail good morning Vietnam. And I have to say that I was very clear when I ordered it and the staff repeated the order. Anyway the other cocktail also was good. It's a good chill out place.

The lanterns drew us in. The rooftop is on the 8th floor of the Duc Vuong Hotel. There's not much to see from there but it's beautifully decorated and the staff is really nice. The cocktails were also very well-made. I got a pretty one that I think was called The Garden. It was not doused in sugar like most other IG-worthy drinks. My brother got a Negroni and he seemed pretty satisfied. I would definitely say you should stop here at least once during your visit. It's a great place to have a chat, or just enjoy being outside. Prices were great! But, mostly, the lanterns 😊

When we arrived the waiter sat us at the worst possible seat, looking away from the street so we had to ask to move to the clearly nicer free seats. I ordered a double Jameson with no ice, my fiance ordered a gin bramble. They came back 10mins later with 2 individual shots of jameson (I mean seriously shot glasses like?) and something that wasn't a gin bramble - see other reviews, I'm not a cocktail drinker. Had to ask the waiters (two of them) to bring me a whisky glass to pour the jameson shots into and repeated that I did not want ice in the glass. They came back with a glass full of ice and lime and then left before I could tell them I didn't want it. My fiance had tasted her gin non bramble and said it was drinkable, I threw the ice from the glass into the pot plant beside us and we finished our drinks. FYI for management - whisky gets served in a whisky glass not a shot glass unless you order a SHOT of whisky. We were waiting about half an hour to get anyone's attention to order anoyher drink, there were about 4 or 5 staff members standing around the bar or on their phones or only serving certain parts of the bar. The bar was not busy, see picture 1, so there was no excuse for what was taking so long. Half an hour to get service with a crowd like that is unacceptable. When they finally did pay attention to us, the waiter gave us a menu and I asked him about what someone else was drinking as it looked nice - he got me the name of the drink in fairness but his mouth was stuffed with food and he was chewing the whole time I was trying to talk to him. Who serves a table like that? Before we could order another drink he left and we were waiting another 15 minutes before a different waitress took our order for a jug of sangria to share. It couldn't have been clearer that we wanted a jug as there were 2 of us and neither had a drink, the word share was used about 3 or 4 times and the waitress was like ok no bother. Of course didn't they come back with a glass of sangria (picture 2). We were completely fed up of the service and the quality of the place, we told the waiter that wasn't what we ordered and asked them to make us what we ordered. The best part is that again the waiter left the table knowing that we didn't get what we ordered, we wanted it corrected, but never bothered! We kept an eye on the bar to see were they making us up a jug and they were all just standing around on their phones like they were all night! At this point it was a joke so my fiance went over and told then that we were leaving - then to top it all off they tried to charge us for the wrong drink they brought us and the waiter had a serious attitude problem trying to imply that it was our fault that they couldnt understand us. Needless to say we didn't pay for that drink, as it wasn't touched. What a terribly staffed business. We've travelled the length of Vietnam over the course of past 3 weeks and without a doubt this has been the worst experience we've had in any establishment. If your staff can't understand an order it isn't rude to clarify, it's good service. Like the rest of the negative reviews on here, service is unacceptable.

Came here for the rooftop view and cheap drinks. The view is cool as you can see the most prominent skyscrapers lined up from afar; other than that there is not much else to see. Place has a quaint design with many lights but the drinks are not cheap (it was my impression this place is known for this with backpackers). There was some notice of happy hours but the deal didn't seem at all impressive (beer 1+1). Visit if you like the ambiance of the place.

Food mostly tasted great, but I ordered chicken and cashew nuts and it was very strange… just heavily battered chicken thigh (barely any meat) with a drizzle of mayonnaise and random cashew nuts on the plate. Overall though, I recommend a visit.

Don’t bother with the pizza unless you’re starving though. The pizza base is cheap thin and crispy. It was 68k with the discount so you get what you pay for. Also the bramble isn’t a traditional bramble, they missed the lemon and sugar so it’s like a blackberry martini with an orange slice. As you can see from the pictures it looks more like a negroni.

One of the best views of HCMC and certainly the best view near Bui Vien St. I had a nice evening there. They have great drink specials until 9pm. Quan (John) took great care of me and was very attentive. The entire staff was friendly, and the place was extremely clean. I didn't eat there so I don't know about that but everything else was excellent. PS. If you're a guy you must see the view from the men's urinal. I've never seen anything like it before.

Food was decent price. I don’t know if it was for sure non-smoking but the ground is AstroTurf and there were no ash trays so I wouldn’t recommend smoking up there. Service was friendly and funny. But you also pay for the view, the friendly staff who know how to wait tables and the overall ambience. Because of the price you also get a lot of service you don't get in other restaurants. Amazing views. Lots of space so that guests can actually sit out and enjoy the views. Very reasonable rates - no surge pricing despite the views and prime location. Amazing service: attentive, went above and beyond to make guests happy. At one point I needed to get a cab. 5 different members of the staff came together to make sure I have wifi access and to make sure they can flag down my "Grab" cab, that I have a place to sit while waiting for the taxi, and I don't get taken advantage of by a driver.
