Dont expect google maps to get there first go. It will take you to unnamed military roads with armed soldiers at check points. Who will direct you how to get there. Entry was free, no other tourist around. No one inside to guide you but again it was free!!!! Nothing really exciting to see but same old one sided propaganda.

The place was free so that's a good sign. It also is pretty quiet so you can enjoy your time there. There is planes and helicopters which are absolutely amazing there but other than that not much to do. It is mainly used as a place for locals to hang out but nonetheless still a cool place to come to.

Cost was 40,000 Vietnamese dong so good value for the experience you’re receiving. Definitely a must see for any tourist visiting the city. There’s incredible photography revealing different aspects of the war.

Entrance is free. A few aircraft and helicopters, posing the question how the Vietnamese air force got their spare parts for operating them long after the war - and a museum with only Vietnamese text. Museum is in bad shape, photos decolored, hot, stale air. For history buffs ok if you're in the area, but not really recommended.

Quite place , free entry , but everything is only described in Vietnamese . So better you go there with a guide or a local to translate .

This museum with no maintenance at all. There is not much information provided from the museum, most of them are photos only. And basically no visitors here at all, you can visit as long as you like. But their exhibitions actually not bad, and their garden with more large size aircraft, compare to other museums in Ho Chi Minh City

i loved just wandering around checking out the planes. There's also a small coffee shop across the road that has fantastic coffees and the staff were amazing.

My family and I came here on a Thursday afternoon, and the museum was pretty empty. We were the only ones there. There are 3 helicopters, a couple of jets and single engine planes. All of the planes were run down and looked aged. The museum entrance was locked, so we were unable to go inside to view the exhibits. I would skip this museum and go to the one at the central HCMC.

The Vietnam People's Air Force Museum, Saigon or Bảo Tàng Phòng Không - Không Quân is located on Duong Thang Long (Thang Long Street) in the Phuong 4 District of Ho Chi Minh City. The museum is near to Tan Son Nhat International Airport and adjacent to the gate to Tan Son Nhut Air Base. The museum tells the history of the Vietnam People's Air Force (VPAF) in the Second Indochina War and the Cambodian-Vietnamese War. The museum comprises one main building with a small display of uniforms and flightsuits, aircraft weaponry and engines. Outside is a static park with aircraft of the VPAF and the Republic of Vietnam Air Force. The museum is open Tuesday-Thursday and weekends from 07:30 to 11:00 and 13:30 to 17:00. Admission is free.
