Review by Khoi, Mon 13/11/2023 This has always been my favorite place to workout, get new friends, talk with foreigners for 8 years. I take pride in helping hundreds of people who want to visit Vietnam, starting from this park. For tourists, this is the place where you meet your new friendly locals. Their English is terrible, like me in the first few hundred conversations. They enjoy touching your hair, being curious with your skin color. They only know the words "black" and "white", because you're unique to us Vietnamese. I love this place so much because the root of my English stems from talking with you guys. Same goes for other locals 😊 For the locals, this is where you meet great people. Those who workout value their body, so most likely they're the most wholesome people you've ever met. This is me speaking from experience.

Nice little park it’s really cool that they offer free exercise equipment for anyone to use out in nature. The plants and flowers are lovely tons of beautiful palm trees. My only complaint is how poorly locals treat this beautiful park. There was tons of people throwing garbage cigarette butts and food containers all around the park. I would also advise not to be in this park at night as there were quite a few vagrants.

A very relaxing place with lots of locals. Benches everywhere and few small vendors. I'm assuming it is very noisy at night due to the adjacent bar street. Good place to sit down and rest during the mid day heat. The central market is also located close by. i think i saw some washroom facilities also. Not so sure though.

One of my favorite parks in Saigon as it has plenty of space and shade trees with exercise equipment in the B section, it’s a good place to hang out meeting with friends. I miss walking through the weekend market along Pham Nhu Lao street that had food vendors and shops under the tent that was set up weekly for a few years. The A section close to the New World Hotel has dance platforms in the middle. The photos I have posted are mostly from above the street so it’s a different view

Really nice place to go to early morning with lots of people of all ages exercising and enjoying the park

Cool place, I saw a squirrel eating. Young and old exercise, there is even a group of middle aged ladies singing karaoke. A lot of activities going on. A fun and cool place to just sit and watch.

It is beautiful here during Tet, here they sell all the flowers, orange trees and other decorations for the Tet holiday. There is usually a lot of young people here all year around that wants to talk to you. They come here to talk to the tourists for practicing there English. I recommend you take some time to talk to them if they are asking you if they can talk to you. It's always fun to speak to them for awhile.

One of few tranquil places in the city, despite the nearby traffic. Clean and well maintained. Classical dancing lessons were happening in the “bandstand”. Amazing.

Nice little park in the center of district 1. Nice loop to run and lots of equipments to get a full body workout. Hả a wonderful workout in just Uber 1 hour.

SO UNSAFE ANYMORE! At the time of 2023-2024, many curry and spice people gathered in groups, looking at each person passing by. There's also a group of black people hanging around who are very scary. My friend and I were even asked by a black guy to use his self-provided service? It's so scrary. 😭

Great spot to relax or go for a run around or just a spot of shopping downstairs in the market.. Take the slide at the entrance next to the stairs if u dare...

Nice park in the middle of busy city. it’s nice to surround yourself with some green since things are pretty busy and it’s hard to relax in this area. They have many benches in this park, so it’s nice to bring in some drink and chill here for a bit on a sunny day🇻🇳☀️

Park is lovely but it was over crowded with locals when we visited.

This is a park in central of city, however it is not good to walk around this area, not much activities and not safety for travel to go around this area alone. Need careful your phone, your bag. Good location to stay in New World hotel to take a look outside is great time for coffee. Dont go out.

As for being a Park, it's a great place to just chill and relax. My last visit was during the Flower Display / Flower Market which happens every year for about 10 day or so before TET. Just stunning and every year I enjoy the wonderful display of all kind of Flowers

This park have attracts everyone durimg the Tet Holidays. Decorated with beautiful colorful flowers and plants. Venders there selling in high price but don’t forget to bargain.

i have gone here at 8 am, on a normal sunny morning. the park itself was average in HCM. the ponds were dirty, full of trash, and smelled like urine. ants can be found everywhere. the nice things were that its location is in the city center with many nice trees

This park has a very big area, so everyone want to come here to exercise, play sports, etc. Besides, there are many programs take place on here every month, so you can come here and experience it.

enjoyable atmosphere- big trees, pleasant wind, dance and music, I feel how this park charges me with energy!

Eigentlich ein schöner Park. Wir haben uns abends mit zwei, drei Döschen Bier 🍺 hier hingesetzt und waren erstaunt, dass wir erst einmal vor den Ratten gewarnt wurden. Aber schon nach kurzer Zeit sahen wir sie, nicht eine, nicht zwei, sondern an die 70 bis 80 Ratten, die ungeniert durch den Park flitzten. Kein schöner Anblick, kein schönes Gefühl. Das niemand etwas gegen diese Plage unternimmt ist mir unverständlich. Leider Daumen runter👎

The park itself is pleasant. Looks like they have a small stage near the parking area, and have an underground shop. Pick pockets and theft occurs regularly at night. Lots of large rats running throughout the park and the small pond area. Conveniently located near the Saigon bus terminal and Bui Vien.

Nice park in District 1. The walk around the park is close to 1km and lot of people are seen exercising in the mornings. Lot of Aerobics classes as well.

It's a cute little park, reasonably well maintained. It's got open grass, tree covered pathways, flat areas of concrete, gym equipment, and lots of benches. It also has a set of restrooms.

A good park to walk or run around. But ground is made of cement/concrete. So bring adequate shoes to protect your knees.

The Park is right at the heart of the city - district one on Pha Ngulao Street. Well maintained fish pond, lots of outdoor gym equipment, lots of affordable drinking and eating joints not to mention it's proximity to the Central City bus station. Also lots of individual bus booking offices to Central and Northern Vietnam, not to forget booking offices for buses to Cambodia and Laos.

This park was okaish. It's near by famous street. Nothing much to see or to do. Few fixed benches are there and you can sit under tree's shadow in hot summer. Apart from that there's no playground or swings in the park.

Nice area in the central of Ho Chi Minh. However, as around this area has alot of bar, this place quite dirty and noisy.

One of the big green spaces in Saigon. They opened the flower market annually before Lunar New year a few days. Cool to visit but need a bit bargain. Enjoy!

Beautiful parks, some people were dancing. In the Afternoon we saw a lot of people doing sports there.

People are gathering this place for playing and leisure activities.

Nice park in the middle of a busy area.

It's a popular park, many locals enjoy using in the late evenings to exercise and walk they're dog. Like all parks in big cities, it has its share of rodents that come out after dark. It's a quite oasis in the middle of a very busy part of Central Saigon.

One of the few places with trees still. Shade & benches, good rest place. No washrooms since covid. Bus station at end of park has toilets.

Good place for short time relax, sitting in the park with a lots of tree in the middle of busy street. Opposite this park is Hotel area for Foreign tourist. Have a underground market and food court.

Nice park to relax day and night...

Nice place, a lot of people are playing footbag, doing yoga, running and so on. You can chill there during the hot day in the shadows of trees, but in the evening it's not the best place, because of rats who are roaming around garbage bins and homeless people who come to sleep on the benches.

Very large park food for running or a light workout. Very interesting equipment for working out is installed all around the park. Nice benches in a forested center of the park. It's a bit old looking but still ok. I wish we had parks like this in the Philippines.

I have never been to the underground shopping center but the park is always nice to visit. There are always so many people exercising and hanging out.

Great park, lots of benches to rest on after walking. The trees provide ample shade from the blistering heat. There is also a nearby restroom. It is a little dark at night.

Nothing really special about it, it is just an ordinary park where I spend some time walking around and relaxing. There are many vehicles traveling near here so it is not quite an quiet place, but still peaceful.
